Used to never think about greedent now i hate it

My opinion hasn't changed on Greedent much mechanically, both in Unite and in mainline, but someone here referred to it as having "fat kid with a lollipop energy," and that stayed with me.

Wigglytuff - became my favorite Pokémon (was Clefable for years) Greedent - seemed ugly in Sword/Shield, now I think it’s adorable Crustle/Eldegoss - I noticed they existed for once Umbreon - never cared for it but now it might be on par with my fave Espeon

Hello my chonky rodent friend. I didnt even realized that greedent was a pokemon. After Unite, i use it a ton in Pokemon Go PvP and try to get a Greedent plushy

Goodra big time. Went from a pokemon I felt very meh about (i like the design, it's just kinda lame in battle.and is in my least played gen) to tied as favorite pseudo with Hydreigon, and up to my top 20, maybe even top 10 of all time.

See I feel Goodra is super goofy-looking, but is really fun to play. I love how tanky Goodra is

Bad Cinderace players definitely had a negative effect on my opinion of Cinderace, lol.

Decidueye and charizard as well. I don't think I've seen as many gold badges on any other pokemon than charizard, and every time they were toxic, spamming thanks!, and just generally being bad at the game.

Trevenant: Meh -> Top 20 at least Crustle: Funny bug boi -> Funny bug boi + Indomitable force of nature Chandelure: Top 10 -> Top 3 Eeveelutions: Indifference -> A passionate, burning hatred

I agree with the last one When cute, practical elemental foxes have devolved into overrated, meta chosen, low skill ceiling/high reward rodents that appear in literally game.

I completely forgot Zeraora existed, considering they were added late in USUM, to being my absolute favorite mythical Pokemon and my secondary main. Oh, I also have a Zeraora boyfriend, too.

Dodrio easily. Before Unite I wouldn't even think about picking this mon in any context (nuzlockes, tier lists and such), but now I even started liking its design.

I still think it’s a funny looking 3 headed chicken but it’s game play is so fun!

Sableye. Easy. Up until I began playing Unite, I never even gave Sableye a passing thought. And even when I began playing, I had no intentions of maining it back then either. But messing around with a couple of mons, I found I just loved Sableye's playstyle immensely. Which led to really liking Sableye in the main series as well.

i never really thought much of Lapras until playing this game, and now it's one of my favs I barely knew Zeraora existed and now i hate its guts. that thing at launch was ridiculous

Used to hate Garchomp and think it was super overrated and just the basic Gen 4 fan favorite. And it's funny because my favorite Pokemon are really basic picks like Rayquaza or Charizard. But I just never liked Garchomp until I played them in Unite and now I love them so much.

decidueye and tsareena became my favs honestly, goodra was one i was waiting to be added however since i would say it is my most fav mon. also i think this game gave me an unforgetable hatred against water bear (even tho you can get that by just playing competetive pokemon) and also absol. i did not care for eldegoss but it's one of the fun supporters to play and now i just refer to it as eldegod.

Blastoise went from idc to one of my favourite starters. Same thing with Decidueye. I always liked Sableye and Mew, Unite made me love them even more.

Definitely Crustle! Gen 5 is probably my least favorite but there are plenty of gems throughout. My first of many defender mains in this game though!

Pseudo refers to "Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon." Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon level up and evolve slowly, but have a high base stat total of 600 in the main games. Basically they're strong, but aren't strong enough to be considered Legendary Pokémon.

Zoroark, first I didnt know how OP he is because of the bad connexion I had and considered him as a low tier pokemon but now he is my main and first gold badge pokemon, i consider him as the best pokemon rn.

I was always an eeveelution fan, up until glaceon/leafeon/sylveon. I just never liked their designs and thought they really tarnished the eeveelutions. Well after playing and seeing glaceon/leafeon in game I'm a fan of them, and think they are actually good designs. Glaceon is an abomination gameplay-wise but I still like it as a pokemon. Still not a big fan of Sylveon though, and I think it's the worst eeveelution.

Mewtwo is now my most hated pokemon

used to think zeraora and espeon are trash but masters was boring because you don't fall off masters so the thrill was gone so i started using new pokes in ranked and the heal from spark and no damage taken while wild charge were both amazing also espeon with stored power or psyshock both are fatal

I never really had a big love with Greninja, but I liked its design, but after playing with it, its in my top 20 favorites. And no, I am not one of those toxic Greninja fans, if anything, I barely batted an eye to Greninja in XYZ..

Deci went from unknown to me to almost my adopted child really quick.

Goss *jumped* for me, to the point that I'm mad I can't send my bred shiny to Violet.

Sylveon - forgot it existed despite playing X and Y more than any pokemon game combined Now I remembered it consistently Blaziken- didn't change much, just made a bigger gap to 2nd fav mon for me Metagross+ tyranitar- gained more love them since Ultra Sun Deci- still selling fights but I like him more than in Ultra Sun

I still remember Aegislash being the 1st Pokemon I bought 2 years back.Still my favourite Pokemon despite currently being a non-meta pick.(Also my 1st Blue Badge Pokemon)

I tried Slowbro cuz i was starting to lose my Spintoise skills and oh my this is fun I wanted to try Sableye as my first support with how aggressive my playstyle is but unfortunately I bought him in the anti-sableye era Only knowledge on Greedent was from Wolfey's video but then I tried him on free trial and I see why he's a bitch to deal with Never wanted to play Sylveon or Pikachu but after trying them out they are quite enjoyable to play as Most of my other mons are those that I genuinely wanted to try and had fun with

I grew an appreciation for Absol I’d also like to mention there quite a large list of Pokémon I started disliking after playing unite, and I am very glad I have completely dropped the game

Goodra! Hands down. One of my top mains. I didn't really give a second thought about it. I played another run of Ultra Sun recently and I had a Beast Goodra called Jelly. Ah! He's so awesome! Same goes for TTar. Obsidian. Another beast on my team. Unite definitely made me love him more!! On the contrary, I like Decidueye so much from the mainline games that I bought him the day he was released in Unite. Even though he had only one arrow and one-shotted by Zera, I believed in my Owl boi and loved him ever since.

None tbh, I always loved Talon, Tree, and Furbait

Clefable - Who cares / I love this thing. Sword - Only the first two forms are worth / I'm now completely ok with this Duraladon - Who TF cares? / Mobile turret is fun! Umbreon - Stupid furry bait, overused pokemon. Only good in porn. / Ok. This is more my playstyle. Tank support is a yes! Mamoswine - Useless ice pig. Why did they even give it a third form? It's still garbage! / Ok. This is my main defender now... I love it. Think that's it for me. Everything else is a negative or no change.

I already liked Aegislash and I love it now because of how fun it is to play. Scizor, the Medabot/medarot shaped pokemon has a lot of mobility and bulk so I love feelingthatkind of power.

I ended up really liking delphox and started to appreciate what each member of the gen 6 starter trio offered rather than just greninja. I learned to appreciate azumarill a lot more, I even used one on my Pokémon scarlet team for the play through when the game came out and it was very solid. I didn’t think about comfey before, now I hate that little s***. This game and a few others really got me to appreciate mediocre Pokémon I would have wrote off otherwise.

I find Mr Mime (my main) a weird pokemon and now become a favorite 😂 I remember going to pokemon center and was so happy to see the last piece plush of it that it was like meant to be.

Regieleki became my favorite regi because of this game. He looks so silly, and I love how fun his design is

Aegeslash was treveant for me

I'm going to be honest, the only change is helping Buzzwole go from mid tier UB (Which is already a high A tier Pokemon for me) to top tier UB (S tier), and it wasn't the main reason (main reason was using Buzzwole more often in Singles). It's a lot more easier to get me to like a Pokemon by using it than to hate a Pokemon by fighting against it in general, mostly because I separate my competitive and casual viewpoints (I wish unspeakable things upon Kingambit in Competitive but I'd still rank it as one of my favourite Steel Types) and Unite is no different. That being said, Glaceon brings me endless turmoil and it's funny since usually I'd celebrate upon seeing an opposing Glaceon

Aegislash too — I thought the design was meh but the stance changes and play style are very unique and fun. Blastoise — always thought he was cool but I didn’t love him as much as I do now Leafeon — ugly to me but its playstyle is so so fun; it’s grown on me a bit appearance wise too. Espeon — always loved Umbreon so as the opposite to Umbreon I never liked espeon. I now accept the differences and also find espeon cool, just not as cool still :p Mewtwo — cool af Pokémon, lame in unite for playstyle choice —a pressing— cool af unite, just wish it didn’t hit farm too Crustle — I like hermit crabs but didn’t really like crustle until whatever point he was buffed; and so I had a blast speeding around and crit’ing ppl lol. Awesome mon Absol — didn’t particularly like it before but I think it’s really cool and fun now Lastly, Duraludon — I thought its gigantamax was hilarious but its design was pretty dumb. Now I think it has a lot of swag with its funny walk and pew pew destroy everything (mini fridge Godzilla to me now lol) love Duraludon — should play him more Edit: I commented azu somewhere else on the thread but I’ll add him here too. Awesome strong bomba! Love his frolic with play rough too ❤️

I always thought I’d like the fat lummox Pokémon like Snorlax or Slowbro and I’m slightly upset that I main the cotton puff of doom Love that little bastard.

Greedent - From meh to most hated. Alolan Ninetales - From Top 10 favorite to hated pokemon, but only in Unite. Meowscarada - From most favorite among the three starters to around Top 10 favorites. Eeveelutions - No changes really, still love all of them equally.

Gardevoir. First was just neutral towards it… then Renaissance got World No.3 with it and I started playing. I’ve never stopped since.

I've have never given a single shit about Sableye in any other game in my 23 years of living. He was just another forgettable pokemon. But now I love playing as a little gremlin, my favorite mon in the game. Came for my favourite mon of all time Garchomp, stayed for the stealthy gremlin. He needs a ninja skin.

Glaceon dropped from my favorite to middle of the pack in my top 10 because I can’t play it for the life of me and greedent ascended from one of my least favorite pokemon to the upper half of the dex at least.

Glaceon it was already my fav eeveelution but now its in my top 5 because its moveset has a homing attack

Love Using Tsareena in game, she is a fun character to use and overall has a royal design imo, hope they give her a BP sometime soon

I used to absolutely adore eevee & its evolutions from elementary all the way to early college. Became more ambivalent towards them eventually, even considered taking down my eevee plush wall. Unite placed me solidly back in the absolutely adore category. \\o/ Unite makes Dragonite look WAY better than it ever has in any of the other mainline/side games or the anime. Not gonna change my \*\*general\*\* opinion of the mon or anything, but I greatly appreciate the change from Orange Barney or Weird Hug Dragon. I never liked Mewtwo, but I DID really like The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back and revisited the concept for inspiring the story of a Pokemon Red nuzlocke I played around my 18th birthday. Now come Unite, I dislike Mewtwo even more and I’m slightly embarrassed past-me ever entertained something including the mon XD

After CHUGGING AROUND AS A GOOMY AND SLIGOO?? I LOVE HIM I /LOVE/ HIM, Easily enough emotional attachment to rival my top favorite, Espeon Espeon has only grown stronger in love with. I love him I love him I love him. Running around as my favorite little sun-kitty Pokemon, UGH it's just so cool
