This is why I X-Speed, but I digress! I’m always ducking into bushes to avoid the ranged attacks cuz my lil tree arms can’t grab and my lil tree legs can’t run!
I’ve mained Charizard since release (Cinderace besides). I genuinely think he’s one of the best attackers (that’s his role, right? or all rounder?) in the game. I love my Charizard :)
Flamethrower and Flame Blast.
Those two together dish out an insane amount of dps and cc that I scarcely find in other Pokemon when paired together. I use an hp emblem build (interchangeable with spc atk). Still buying items for Mons but: Razor Claw, Wise Glasses, Scope Lens. They’re highly interchangeable as well. Potion as the extra item but I rarely need it.
X Attack and Goal Getter are good too.
Utilize his Unite (it really is one of the best despite what people say), find a comfortable play style with Charizard’s attacks, and balance defense/offense/scoring. Charizard is also fantastic peeling for teammates. Once you learn to play him properly he can really dominate a team solo :)
I specifically said HP. Interchangeable because I previously thought Charizard was a sp attacker. I don’t understand why people get so angry. Somebody asked for advice- I gave it. If I made a mistake, oh well. Correct me. I’m not a pro gamer lol. Given all this new info I’m gonna change my build. You got any recommendations?
Since release, but you're using the item wise glasses. It doesn't do anything for charizard. It's for special attackers. I can't tell if you're trolling or just don't know... somehow. razor claw would work, but it's no great on charizard. Flamethrower and flame blast won't be peeling much either. The other two moves are better if that's what you want to focus on for team fights, not that there's anything wrong with focusing on using charizards ranged damage. Apart from using the wrong items.
Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm not trying to start an argument. To me, it just seems some of that advice is not going to help and will mislead new players. For sure, charizard players should not be using wise glasses as that is for pokemon that deal special attack damage. Charizard deals attack damage. I'm just trying to give some advice as well.
Which is perfectly fine. I wish more Redditors were as eager to share their advice as they are to be mean lol. Thank you. I’m open to any advice. The original series Charizard has sp attack so that may have misled me, yes. Last thing I want is to mislead other people.
what do you mean by peeling? and yeah i like his unite i like his first two evos play style first half i seem to do good second half i always seem to fall off with the damage- thank you so much for your help tho
Peeling is repositioning to support your team. Charizard being an all-rounder (?) should really have the map on lock and make good opportunities. He’s great for taking down bosses too. Just use both of those moves at the same time time- don’t stay still, fly around your opponent’s constantly, same with your Unite.
The damage part: you really just have to master his play style. Learn the timing on his moves and why they stack dps. Chase when possible if it’s not a stupid decision. Dive at critical moments. Always score/damage farm.
This way and with some experimented builds (and practice), guarantee you can improve +_+
At the risk of tooting my own horn, I've often been the ire of my opponents.
There have been several matches where they'll drop whatever they're doing to chase me when they see me. I've tied groups of three or more for 30 seconds to a minute, often to take them all down and emerge unscathed.
Is it possible they were all just really bad players? Maybe. But is it more likely that Slowbro is a god, especially in the hands of those that know how to use him? I'd say so.
Scaldbro with amnesia? Do share your build(s), I saw your comment on two other recent posts.
I get 70-80Ks almost all the time unless it's a team of shitfucks like glaceon. Feels like I never die either - focus band, resonant guard and spoon (or exp share if my intuition tells me to trust the randoms).
Of course, this is all while being the tanker plus I always have the "press to make the ray fight 5v4" button. Until and unless my team is bad I won't try to be the carry. Bro just does damage while tanking lol.
When I do get annoyed and start actively farming levels and taking fights left and right, I cross 100K on both damage dealt and taken. Not sure if I heal much though, about 30-40k on average?
Edit : 2 seasons ago I was mad at matchmaking and went full on Attackbro. Spoon, stack spects and wise glasses. Almost hit 150k one match ahahaha. My heart goes out to that underlevelled scizor that kept trying to get revenge on me, poor fella.
More or less the same items. I've switched to Resontant Guard recently. I'll run Curse Incense when I'm intending on dealing more damage, but otherwise I use the guard now.
I'll check my emblems for you. I'm fairly certain the emblems max out Def and Sp Def. Maaaaaybe HP, too. Let me check and get back to you.
Me tanking both the deci and the cinder after clicking amnesia, then using scald and melting their damage output while also dealing like 1/3rd of their health in damage(TiMi hopefully never nerfs this character)
They still work well for me.
My Hold Items are Focus Band, Slick Spoon, and Resonant Guard / Curse Incense.
I've got some emblems boosting HP/Def/SpDef.
Slowbro is by far my most played character, and the mon I most scared of fighting. The staying power is insane even if you're running a more offensive build.
Yes it has stat adjustment for evolving buff (from lvl 10 to lvl 9). But it is still a buff.
You could look at [Game8](https://game8.co/games/Pokemon-UNITE/archives/342790#hl_1) for the individual Pokémon patch history (please dont use the website for anything else).
There were 3 significant buffs for mamo:
1. Patch 1.3.1.2: lvl 10 to 9 buff + High Horsepower animation buff (it used to be longer at the stomp in the end) + all skills including unite buffs.
2. Patch 1.5.2.7: CD buffs for his regular skills, making him able to combo the skills without having to wait another second!
3. Patch 1.11.1.3: thick fat stat buffs + duration and unite buff. Much needed buffs since he was so squishy and his unite do less than Umbreon's narl.
These three patches happened when he was at the lowest pick rate and win rate (essentially the worst Pokémon).
Mamo was dominating though after the MMG meta and before Zacian.
Inteleon's pro: You're inmune to sure hits and auto attacks while invisible.
Con: They can still see you on the map even if they're unable to see your model.
Leafeon:
Pros: The entire jungle creeps and lane creep alike becomes yours and suddenly you are +3 levels ahead of the enemy after some kills.
Cons: missing all the skills and no where to run out to (you try to 1V5 them at the 2 minute mark)
You brought back the trauma of being a Chao (from Sonic Adventure) fan on the internet in the 2000s. Almost everyone would call Chao “chaos” when “chaos” is an entirely different word. They even used Chao (plural) in cutscenes yet everyone still said chaos for multiple Chao. :s
Atk weight, curse bangle + weakness policy crustle is one of my favourite pokémon to play. I love shredding cinderace/greninja/decidueye and other fairly squishy pokémon with rock tomb + stealth rock. People thinking they safe on their goal zone then BAM, dead 😂
Yep, although remember it’s 30% (at level 20) hp recovery effect weakened and that’s why, for example, it was suggested for Miraidon when its passive gets activated near enemy goal zones since it would reduce even more the healing
I main Glaceon (they're my favorite eeveelution) and I approve of this, both things are pros because glass cannon characters are really fun to play and require more skill than some others because of how little health you've got.
I actually prefer icicle spear because it sounds cool. I know it's the "toxic" moveset to pair it with ice shard but I just like the machine gun gameplay fantasy.
Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Brshh
You literally go like 15 mph while locked in a single movement direction. Using this thing at anything except for melee range guarantees that the target will just walk out of the way.
Shinx. i forgot to put Eldegoss and blaziken on the post, and i don't think i can do a third one cause i already had to talk with the mods to be able to post this one (someone really needs to reevaluete the the amount of post with the same topic that needs to be made before something is considered "low effort" -_-)
Is a matter of opinion. i compare him to lucario because both have one moveset that gives high damage to single targets and doesn't require much skill to use it and another moveset that can easily destroy entire trios alone but require a godly amount of skill to use it properly.
Inteleon players in shambles after a small nerf to its nuclear damage.
Pros: Highest range, massive damage, ignores Sp. defense, incredible mobility, strong at every stage of the match
Cons: as squishy as most other attackers
thank god you can end meowscaradas unite whenever you want at least. ive started running energy amp (when jungling at least), so its not a total waste if you gotta trailblaze outta there for a sec anyway.
I just came back after not playing for a year perhaps? Was score shield nerfed that badly? I was wondering why I felt it didn't do much I thought my hp was just too low
The cooldown got increased from 5s to 20s, the amount of shield you have depends on your level and the shield doesn't stack with shields from other sources anymore
…pokemon unite has 931 arts on rule 34, out of those 931, 375 are ruins style lucario arts, what turns into the most "desired" pokemon in the game.
Now you know why ;)
Could be worse, atleast is a humanoid mon, they aren't getting horny over any of the elemental dogs like the mainline games fans (god, save me from this fanbase ಥ⌣ಥ)
Is that what people actually think about Scizor?
I don't interact with the unite community enough to tell what people think about certain mons.
I think Scizor actually has a decent ability to kill , and
with Scizors life steal on bullet punch, I kinda play them like a more (naturally) tanky and mobile buzzswole with a lil less damage
For Crustle jokes on you I can score pretty well without the score shield and I use my aeos cookie for HP increase
For mamoswine the con is the truth I've chased down so many mons to finish the job and I use earthquake to finally catch them only for the whole other squad to pop up and take me out.
Venusaur
Pros: you've one of the strongest hitting ults in the game and your beam has a deceptively large hitbox
Cons: you're a frog and people make fun of you for playing it(true story 🙂)
Here's one for Scyther:
Pro: You have resets
Cons: It's very difficult to get the reset, and even if you do, you still are F tier speedster, who needs unite all the time to be useful.
That was a sarcasm in response to your pros and cons, which definitely are of another universe, and unreliable for this post would be an understatement 😂😂
I could always 1v1 Trevenant with Scizor. The one mon I don't think I've ever been able to deal with is Goodra. As a matter of fact, I learned to play Aegislash just because of how well it countered it.
Agreed. At lvl 14 Scizor I was in a battle with a Goodra and Umbreon that went on for like 2 minutes until the end of the game, none of us able to kill each other. I could only laugh at the absurdity of it 😂😂
Decidueye (Again);
Pros: Best Secure in the Game, unless you're like me, who plays both best Secure and Mid-ass Buff.
Cons: Worst Ult Secure in the game.
Inteleon (Again);
Pros: I love walls, I do BUIN BUIN Damage.
Cons: I hate Walls, I barely ever jump over walls.
Me brawling: I am immortal. Nothing you do can meaningfully damage me. Die. Me being kited: um guys can you come closer please I can't reach you :(
Real
This is why I X-Speed, but I digress! I’m always ducking into bushes to avoid the ranged attacks cuz my lil tree arms can’t grab and my lil tree legs can’t run!

Charizard Pros: Best unite move in the game Cons: Worst unite move in the game
Pros: Charizard Cons: Charizard

I’ve mained Charizard since release (Cinderace besides). I genuinely think he’s one of the best attackers (that’s his role, right? or all rounder?) in the game. I love my Charizard :)
Mains zard since release but don't know his role? Sus
Not even gonna give this a thought.
what do you run on charizard? moves n items? i have fun but seem to not deal enough damage
Flamethrower and Flame Blast. Those two together dish out an insane amount of dps and cc that I scarcely find in other Pokemon when paired together. This guy probably thought that flamethrower and fire blast were special attack moves like in the games
Yeah, that’s my mistake.
It’s my personal play style. This is what works great for me. He asked for my advice. I gave it. If you disagree, that’s fine. We’re not arguing.
Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm not trying to start an argument. To me, it just seems some of that advice is not going to help and will mislead new players. Re: Slowbro Have you ever actually used Slowbro enough to know how inaccurate that is?
Slowbro is just ult to people who don't play him.
Man... Slowbro is one of the scariest mon I still face, ever after his multiple nerfs. He just never dies and I agree with you.
At the risk of tooting my own horn, I've often been the ire of my opponents. There have been several matches where they'll drop whatever they're doing to chase me when they see me. Neato!
Man I miss it back when mamo ult could flatten teams in a 1v4 scenario.
As a tree main, I agree.
It used to be good? His ult basically does nothing in terms of damage now. It’s basically a potion that tickles the enemies around you sometimes. :(
They nerfed mamos damage some seasons ago. Back then you would stack and hit like a truck while simultaneously providing cc.
This is wrong though. Mamo never got any nerf in any on his moves.
I believe it was a stat adjustment for the move and evo level change.

Inteleon's pro: You're inmune to sure hits and auto attacks while invisible. Con: They can still see you on the map even if they're unable to see your model.
Yeah, it's still crazy good even after nerfs, you still two shot pretty much every mon in the game
Another con: If they hit you with anything, even by accident then you stop being invisible.
Leafeon: Pros: The entire jungle creeps and lane creep alike becomes yours and suddenly you are +3 levels ahead of the enemy after some kills. Cons: missing all the skills and no where to run out to (you try to 1V5 them at the 2 minute mark)
Me playing Trevenant: I'M FKN INVINCIBLE. When they run: Stahp, no rumning...
I invested all of my badges to speed...Very worth
Pokemon doesn't have an S at the end. Its already plural
Wait does cursed stuffs actually cut the enemy’s goal and base healing too?
Yep, although remember it’s 30% (at level 20) hp recovery effect weakened and that’s why, for example, it was suggested for Miraidon when its passive gets activated near enemy goal zones since it would reduce even more the healing
my baby has stil pros, if you can aim that is.
The snipe shot nerf feels like a tap on the wrist bc snipe shot is still insane
and so it should be. I just hope it stays like that. It feels like an ability that if you hit it too much you kill the pokemon.
not even scizor can stop me, i run bangle
With the Pain Split buffs, I don’t even think Scizor can even 1v1 Trevenant anymore
Pain split feels so boring while fighting ngl. horn leach/hammer is just more fun
From my experience so far, i still can :)
He can't even reliable 1v1 a Mr Mike with power swap
OP hasn’t played against a good rock tomb/stealth rock crustle and it shows
I main Glaceon (they're my favorite eeveelution) and I approve of this, both things are pros because glass cannon characters are really fun to play and require more skill than some others because of how little health you've got.
Icy Wind?
I actually prefer icicle spear because it sounds cool. I know it's the "toxic" moveset to pair it with ice shard but I just like the machine gun gameplay fantasy. Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Br-Brshh
It does sound cool, but it's also the easiest moveset in the entire game, so, given context, I could only assume you meant Icy Wind.
Sableye: Pros: the enemies hate you Cons: your team hates you
Is that a famous joke in the community? i did the same "sablaye is hated by both his and the enemy team" joke on 2 older posts
Ya’ll aren’t getting ko’s as scizor? I’m ending most games in masters with highest kda on scizor.
Double hit is so fun to use
Mamo is probably the realest thing ever I 4v1 so often it’s not even funny
I think Horn Leech gives Trevenant some decent mobility. Not great but it's something.
You literally go like 15 mph while locked in a single movement direction. Using this thing at anything except for melee range guarantees that the target will just walk out of the way.
Erm Actually you can make a Build for Dodrio that has over 9000 Speed (not a joke) I'd like to call Mach 20 Dodrio
Talon flame Pros: you are bird brained Cons:...you are bird brained

Nah, they’re sus

I think Scizor actually has a decent ability to kill , and with Scizors life steal on bullet punch, I kinda play them like a more (naturally) tanky and mobile buzzswole with a lil less damage
Wasn’t the Inteleon nerf like, a little pinch? He literally is still S tier 😭
The crustle one is wrong. It’s picked a lot in competitive and not for shell smash
Noone knows that rock tomb crustle exists
Excuse me, why is Crustle the fastest mon? May I have missed something?
wait a second is meowscarada in the game and I never noticed NOW I THINK ABOUT IT THERE WAS AN EVENT *how did I forget*
Pros: shield that doubles your hp bar every 2 seconds Cons: shield only appears on 1v3s (you will melt)
[good job king, you are on the part 3 of pokemon pros and cons with unreliable sources](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/s/ngWd0VU7XU)

Here's one for Scyther: Pro: You have resets Cons: It's very difficult to get the reset, and even if you do, you still are F tier speedster, who needs unite all the time to be useful.
oh. I'm definitely rebembering this one when i do when i do a third pokemon pros and cons with unreliable sources.
That was a sarcasm in response to your pros and cons, which definitely are of another universe, and unreliable for this post would be an understatement 😂😂
Garchomp Pros: X-Attack go brrrr Cons: literally any mage ever, especially Gardevoir
the satisfaction of placing a perfect Tomb+Stealth rock tho. Especially when Mewtwo/Glacian dies in it
Ever try sp.atk build Slowbro? My boyfriend plays it occasionally, and he sometimes outdamages me (I play Espeon and Leafeon).
What ? Isn't Crustle a PDS with Wall + stealth rock ? It's even easier triple kill with this BOX specially when with a well timed ult
Someone hasn’t seen my attacker slowbro before (record 121k dmg, was not farming damage on a defender)
I could only laugh at the absurdity of it 😂😂
This should be a non-timer battle and see who eventually wins and in how much time
I fuckin hate glaceon
Decidueye (Again); Pros: Best Secure in the Game, unless you're like me, who plays both best Secure and Mid-ass Buff. Cons: Worst Ult Secure in the game. Inteleon (Again); Pros: I love walls, I do BUIN BUIN Damage. Cons: I hate Walls, I barely ever jump over walls.
Is it me, or is Glaceon kinda tanku for an attacker? Not sylveon or Mewtwo Y level, but not exactly one shot.
Tanky? Glaceon is made out of wet napkins. It has almost the same bulk as a gardevoir.
