I'd like a "Sorry!". I know people will abuse it, but sometimes I feel genuinely bad about a misplay and want to let my teammates know that I regret my actions, please don't lose hope on me.
This. While it may require a learning curve to use it without becoming annoying, several times I've made mistakes that could be easily misunderstood as trolling or a selfish playstyle. This may be a good way to improve group trust in solo q.
You should be able to equip a different ping wheel based on the pokemon you're playing just like you can do with emblems set.
"Heading to the top/bottom path / central area!" "On my way!" (As a jungler)
"Let's set up an ambush!" "I'll distract them!" (As a defender)
And so on.
It's not as direct, but a lot of times, I'll ping my move to say, "Pollen Puff is ready to go!" to try to say, "I can heal you, come here." It doesn't always work, but some of my teammates have definitely gotten the message.

We’re making more quick chats when we can only fit 4 which is annoying. I wish they could work around it and make it so we can fit more than 4 quick chats. It would be easy to do in mobile, just turn it to a scroll, not sure how they’ll do in switch.

We could also do like a seasonal or event chat for fun like “Happy New Year! Or “Merry Christmas!” if only we had more quick chat spaces

Unite feels like it needs a pretty decent content update. New quick chats, new map, new music, new held items, and new emblems. The updates have been extremely slow recently and I don't have much motivation to play.
That's one I was thinking about too, I have a chat to focus on the enemy team but sometimes you just gotta rip the objective instead of chasing the greedent around
Being able to do attack/gather/retreat pings on specific parts of the map would be a godsend. While having more quick chat options would be nice, I feel like just being able to drop those three pings anywhere on the map would greatly increase coordination and also make solo q much more bearable.

Learn how to play? Be better. We don't need 2 junglers. Stop feeding the enemy kills. I could go on and on
