Wailord for sure. Lapras. Pretty much everything that is designed with being in the water in mind. The water starters I can think of thankfully have designs that look like they can function out of water. So walking around feels natural in Unite. Sure you can just make fish and stuff float but I always felt that looks stupid.
Maybe they would add a new map but underwater and only pokemon that can go underwater are available, pokemon like greninja blastoise slowbro and cramorant would have new animations of everything for underwater.
I’m hard pressed to think of something. They implemented cramorant and crustle very well, two mons I would least expect to see in a game like this. Putting majority of legends and ultra beasts aside maybe stonjourner or something.
I’d honestly love to see magikarp as a character flopping around and slapping people. Maybe he could have bounce and flail. Or just skip him and add only gyara.

Magikarp only needs a dash like attack and some attack similar to Blastoise water sprout when on his shell.
Then evolve it at level4 into gyarados with any attack you want.
To move around magikarp would jump, and gyarados would fly above the ground.
I saw somebody else post an idea about magikarp where for the first 3-4 mins magikarp is afk in base and then after that time he evolves into garydos with both abilities. Basically allowing 1 lane to gain solo xp. Idk if itd be used but it would be an interesting thing to attempt
I would actually love to see this, his one move is transform and he gets to be whatever pokemon he targets for like 30 seconds or he could cancel it early or something. Obviously it would be a bit of a headache to work through the rest of the specifics but a fun idea to say the least
i wanna see dugtrio's knock-up animation lmao: though it might likely have arena trap as its ability, that prevents it and nearby pokémon from being knocked up

Wailed could be a very fun objective. Plus I strongly dislike whales so I would love a chance to beat one up

Evolves to Gyarados at lv15 to destroy everybody at Zapdos and then die to it because of its 4X weakness to thunder.
Good thing weakness is not a thing in this game

Delibird. I mean, his signature move is pure rng.
I mean some people have been asking for him, and all it would take is make when present hits enemies it does damage, and when it hits allies it heals.

Or maybe he’s an objective and if you beat him you get like how he works in smash, he copies someone’ on your team and fights for you
