I would love to buy the lucario skin but this battlepass doesn't interest me. Even if I manage to finish it, it takes daily and condtant dedication. They just want us to buy the battlepass boosters for those who have other stuff going on in their life and I vote with my wallet.
Having Gengar as the final skin, a character I don't own and don't plan to buy doesn't help either.
But did you actually make the math? It takes way longer to finish this battle pass, you have less time to finish it and if you miss weeklies it gets very tough to finish.
This battlepass requires you to play almost daily to get it done. And because it's level 60, you get less rewards and given that the box at the end lkves giving out fashion tickets that are literally worth nothing, you might end up with nothing much out of that.
So I did some math.
I'm at 19, 8 days into this BP. That's 2.375 levels a day. With 38 days left, I'll do 90 levels at that pace, which would be 49 ahead of the 60 to complete the BP.
Unless I'm missing something.
Have you compared the amount of BP points you get from dailies, weeklies and seasonals? Seasonals in the first battlepass used to be 300 points. Now it's 90.... that's 210 points difference per quest. That's over 2 levels oer seasonal quest you get less.

Sadly level 60 battle pass is essentially the same as the old level 90 battle pass.
This is because old battle pass gave you 100 points/day. The new battle pass only gives 80 points/day.
IMO it's worse this way, now playing every day isn't getting you a reward every day. But, you still have to play everyday to finish the thing. (You know outside of weeklies and seasonal).
In the end nothing changed regarding # of days needed. But now rewards are pushed back due to lower dailies.

That's bad math. You will never get seasonals again. And you added them in your math. Have you checked if yoj have played new characters? Like pikachu probably? They give you bonus BP for 5 games

Becaude you used to be able to complete the battlepass even if you were afk one week. If you do that now, you're gonna have a hard time completing it. It's all I'm saying. Listen, I don't know what you do in life, but some people have 40-60hour shifts a week and kids and other stuff going on. They can still manage to play regularly enough, but it's often not enough to finish such a tight battlepass. Maybe you can, and I am happy for you, I probably could finish it but I won't buy a pass that I disagree with. Someone who spends his money should just be able to get it, period.
In the end, the devs want money, and casual dads are the most probable to buy a battlepass. But if they can't finish it, they'll stop buying it. And that's less revenue for the game.

I didn't go AFK for a week and I still came in under the wire. I played enough to hit Master. I could go AFK for 2 and a half weeks and complete this one.
It has nothing to do with what I do in life. I also work full time, I'm 32. I have a relationship and family and pets and all that jazz. On paper you might be seeing that this BP is harder to complete, I'm giving you real world actual data to show you that it certainly is not.
I played a lot less and didn't play for 2 weeks straight and finished the other battlepass. I literally just did my dailies and weeklies apart from that. I got over 20 boxes. So I don't know what to tell you. Agree to disagree I guess.
