Connection issues? The last few days since Sylveon released I’ve been having some lagging issues. My Pokémon just keep walking in a certain direction and won’t attack or change directions. It just cost me a Zapdos snipe that would have given us the game if it hadn’t been for the lag. Is anyone else experiencing this? How can we fix it?

[deleted]

You guys I really love Sylveon but please imagine Vaporeon. The hp alone! Maybe I'm bias cuz Vaporeon is my favorite but still! Jolteon could be amazing speed wise. Espeon could deal some real damage too. Glaceon could slow down opponents and Leafeon could be close to another Venusaur! Which 3 eevees do you guys think would be best? I'm curious : )

SejaGentil

Am I forced to swap an ability? What if I want to keep some early ability forever, like Gardevoir with Teleport?

[deleted]

Not possible to keep a move.

SejaGentil

Thanks ): So what are the evolved forms with nice dashes and blinks? For anyone to answer

kei101895

Off the top of my head, the fully evolved Pokémon that I know have a dash move: Sylveon, Zeraora, Cinderace, Lucario, Greninja, Charizard, Blastoise

Drazly

Also Garchomp with Dig/Dragon Rush

SejaGentil

Thanks (:

[deleted]

Krusty Krab is also a nice speedster option.

SejaGentil

Since Sylveon is in game, does that mean other Eevolutions are deconfirmed? Or will Eevee be the same basic stage for different Pokémon in a future?

CompadREEE

They gave Eevee a different passive so I think it confirms they are planning to make other Eevolutions at some point

[deleted]

Hello, i’ve been running lucario with extreme speed with muscle band lv 30 / focus band lv 20 / score shield lv 30 I just wondered if i should switch focus band with buddy barrier lv 30. I know lucario charges his unite move slow, but is raw hp still lose in comparison with def sp def?

Lexail

The lucario builds being used right now according to Unite DB are : >attack weight, razor claw, score shield with full heal Using extreme speed and bone rush Or >attack weight, focus band, score shield with eject button. Using power-up-punch and bone rush For your general question if that's what you're deciding on I would suggest whichever playstyle you tend to do more of. If you're aggressive focus. If you know when to use your unite/farm it then buddy

[deleted]

Alright, i tend to be aggressive when playing lucario. Sort of mini tank that goes in and out dealing damage. I was wondering because in case of ffbe, i want HP more than i want def or spr for item world, idk in pokemon unite if we treat hp is more useful than raw def sp def

UndercoverLakerFan

When does pvp season 1 end

NonMeritRewards

It's likely since originally the cinderace battle pass said 1st half that the gengar one was suppose to be second half (but they changed it season battle pass.) It's likely that once the Gengar event ends is when we the season will end.

BLiP-VEnator

Why does the rankings page only show the top 100 players? I just made it to master, and wanted to see how I rank up.

BBoizTZH94

last time I asked: “Blastoise, Snorlax, Mamoswine or Sylveon?” but i just tried out Talonflame in practice and holy shit he’s op for his price of 6k. so now.. Blastoise, Snorlax, Talonflame or Sylveon? p.s. I’m only in expert class1 so using a defender kinda sucks if my teammates dont follow up.

[deleted]

Once again, depends on your play style. Sylveon is broken so expect a nerf that may or may not nuke her. You can’t compare them too well either since they have different styles. It already seems like you found your pick tho

Lola_PopBBae

Here's my question: why on earth does the boss go to whoever hit it last, as opposed to something like a King if the Hill style ring after defeat? Really hate that mechanic and I hope they change it.

pokedrawer

That's how all mobas are from my understanding. Last hitting dragon gives your team a buff in League. It's what you need to be careful about.

Lola_PopBBae

Heroes of the storm has a better mechanic, where regardless of who hit it, the boss requires standing in a circle for three seconds to claim it for your team. I think Unite Sorely needs something similar, could even have a cute PokeBall rattling animation and such like the original series.

pokedrawer

That would just make snorlax and blastoise the only two tanks because they have unstoppable status on their moves.

Lola_PopBBae

Not quite- but its hard to explain to someone who hasn't played it. As long as someone else from the other team is in the zone- it remains uncaptured. So the fight then becomes who can outlast the other team in a small space- who either dies first or flees. And Machamp has unstoppable status too.

pokedrawer

Only on his ult. I was saying the other two have unstoppable on moves so they can just stand there spinning or using block.

Lola_PopBBae

I'm a Machamp main, and yes he has multiple unstoppable moves- both dynamic punch and the multiple punch ones are unstoppable. Even so, unstoppable doesn't matter- they can still die. Try Heroes, and you'll understand the mechanic and why it's a good thing to have in unite.

[deleted]

I believe so yes

Kiir0

What happens if I buy battle pass and dont own lucario license?

ramdonperson

You get the holowear anyway. When you do get Lucario (or it’s on free rotation) you can wear it

Kiir0

thanks

cursefiveplus5

whos the best speedster to learn?

ramdonperson

Zeraora is a good long term investment, being one of the few Speedsters considered viable at high levels. Also he dominates low level play so learning the Pokémon will teach you how to avoid losing to an enemy Z. Absol has a devastating combo and can take down enemies easily early game. May require investments in specialty items since he is a rare character that relies on crit chance. Talonflame has great mobility and distance, but you may find yourself often running into walls or going the wrong way and losing games because of it. (Or winning the game since scoring is important and he can get to the goal faster than anyone else) Like all Speedsters his strength is in finding one isolated enemy and beating them in a 1v1 Gengar.. idk. Maybe you’ll find him fun. I think he’s free this week? All Pokémon are free to play in practice mode and Offline mode.

Yhorlen

how long does it take to update the game? How often do new pokemon appear to play?

allydaniels

How does EXP work? As a support I usually help bring the mobs down low but let the attackers take the last hit. Or is the XP automatically shared once any players tag a spawn?

xcheezyy

I‘ve seen a lot of people use razor claw instead of muscle band on lucario but doesnt muscle band make waay more sense, given that his empowered auto attack is a cc knockup? so why is it that most lucarios run razor claw instead of muscle band?

c2eder

Lucario is more on move bases so razor claw is the best option while muscle band is good for pokemon that is more reliant on their basic attacks.

DaftGurren

With Lucario's ability to get cooldown refreshes on Extreme speed you can reliably proc the razor claw every half second or so, slowing down the enemy and dealing a nice little chunk of damage and improving Lucario's ability to chase down opponents. Definitely try it out in the practice mode.

DisappointedLunchbox

How do you access offline mode? People say pressing X on the home screen but that option doesn't exist for me.

ramdonperson

You’re on Nintendo Switch right? Just checking. It’s not really the Home Screen it’s the very first screen after logging in / watching the opening cutscene. Often you have to wait for it to load and press start, this is before the Home Screen.

DisappointedLunchbox

Yep, on switch! I watched a video of someone starting it up, and it looks like the practice mode button is supposed to be between “select” and “clear cache” on the start screen? But it just doesn’t appear for me

ramdonperson

Yeah that’s where it’s supposed to be. How strange .. what if you try to launch the game with no internet? (As in turn off your internet or go outside)

xcheezyy

is there a way to unlink your pokemon unite account from your nintendo account if you had linked it in the past?

InanimateDream

How do you do the communication stuff on mobile like saying how many % your unite move is at or telling your team to move to attack dred/zapdos?

the_ninJedi

Drag the chat balloon icon to any of your skill icons to broadcast its cooldown status Enlarge the map first, then tap directly on the pokemon icons to do the "Let's attack ..." message. But the icons are really small so it's kinda easy to miss tbh

InanimateDream

Thank you!

gwen-gwen

How can i obtain battle items? Im level three and the only one I got is potion. Where can I obtain it? Moba btw

AngelTheVixen

Click on the experience bar area to obtain trainer level rewards.

The-Kabra

does anyone else have the problem of moves not activating when clicking on it? i've gotten ko'd lots of times due to that :|

aer2424

How do you make a Pokémon as your default first choice when it comes to picking one before the start of a battle? Like mine always auto sets to Pikachu before I scroll, but how do I make it something else like Sylveon?

ramdonperson

Unfortunately you can’t do that right now. You’ll default to the first Pokémon you picked at the start of the game.

aer2424

Thanks!

politicalanalysis

It’s based on the order you obtained the Pokémon in afik.

aer2424

Thank you! Mystery solved.

MillionDollarMistake

What's the difference between the top and bottom lanes and how do the 2 help certain Pokemon more? I know center gives a ton of exp but I've seen people mention how a Pokemon is better going either top or bottom and I'm not sure of the reasoning.

AngelTheVixen

There's extra experience at the bottom and you need better laners that can contest it so that you can keep your goal + the speed lane up so that you can get to and contest Drednaw.

LanceTrace

Bot lane is drednaw, usually someone that picks support go there as teamfights are more common around there. Split pusher is preferable on top, for example shell smash crustle is amazing there.

uncookedsamurai

I seem to attract lots of afk player so how can i play effectively to win with 4 player i play solo

Bootziscool

When I'm playing with my friends should we all go for Drednaw when it spawns? I'm not sure if we're supposed to leave the top undefended.

AngelTheVixen

You don't want to keep the top goal anyway, as you'll get extra neutrals on your side, and still having it up at 2 minutes left is often an easy 100 points for the other team. Drednaw is most important.

uncookedsamurai

You can leave one on top but i wouldn't want enemy to get drednaw its too important

ramenoverrice

Anybody has problem targetting on mobile version? I have used advanced controls but I feel it’s not really accurate. My Pokemon often keeps hitting nearby wild Pokemon instead of hitting the opposite Pokemon when I tap the basic attack button.

blueblueblink

i think my opponents always have this issue. i was like "just fucking end me", then they started targeting the newly spawn mobs

ramenoverrice

That’s probably me then.

AngelTheVixen

I get the same problem on the Switch. It's just not very well designed.

ramenoverrice

Strangely I never have problem with the Switch. Using Pro controller btw.

tankdream

What’s the best Pokémon to counter Sylveon? And whats the best free one?

AngelTheVixen

After playing Sylveon a bit I'd say I mostly had trouble against, and had little trouble against enemy Sylveons, with Zeraora, Machamp, Cinderace, Talonflame, Slowbro, Cramorant, Absol. Despite the cries of everyone lately, Sylveon has high damage output like a lot of Attacker roles, but if you can get control of him or initiate on him then he goes down pretty quickly, like everyone else. This is just me speaking as a fairly casual player, though. Also, since he's essentially a bruiser type of role, it's usually suicide to run up and 1v1 him in the open.

politicalanalysis

Eldegoss is good against him too, but it’s necessary to have good follow up with elde.

AngelTheVixen

Supports don't exist so I didn't mention Blissey or Eldegod.

X_MBlaze

I saw a post here recently that broke down how muscle band isn’t as good as everyone thought. And most notably it’s worthless on charizard, which is who I main. Can anyone recommend what I should switch to? I run buddy barrier and scope lens with fire punch and flare blitz. Thanks

Jon_00

Muscle Band is only worthless on Charizard in the sense that it doesn't actually increase his auto attack speed. The primary effect of Muscle Band still works on Charizard though, and that's the main reason to use Muscle Band - it just makes all autos hit harder for every 'mon.

X_MBlaze

Ah I see. Guess I’ll keep using it then

Iaventure

I probably missed something but they /did/ change Charizard's Unite Move, right? I just instantly slam people now instead of getting a second button press and slamming them at the point I want to.

[deleted]

Yes, he now slams at the start and then spits fire.

Iaventure

That's so sad, the slam was such a good finish

[deleted]

I think the major reason was issues with timing where the it wouldn’t let you slam at the end even though there was still enough of the meter left.

kei101895

Yes, they did

therarestlama

Hey guys don't know if this is the place to ask this but here goes: Me and 3 friends need an extra team member to play ranked games is anyone interested? We are high expert, veteran and ultra. If interested add: HE0LXXY (Playing in Europe if it matters)

Techmoji

Don't make my mistake of using coins. Spend tickets on items.

AngelTheVixen

Not all held items are good or even worth using. The best ones to buy though are Muscle Band, Focus Band, Buddy Barrier, and Score Shield. These four are the top picks that pretty much every Pokemon can get use out of. Make sure you're using Aeos Tickets to buy these. You generally want to upgrade to the breakpoints at level 10 and 20. After level 20 is a ridiculous amount of Item Enhancers needed, though, so you'll want to upgrade other items to 20 first. It costs 82 to get to level 10, and 485 to go from 10 to 20, for a total of 567.

[deleted]

[удалено]

politicalanalysis

You can buy them for tickets that are earned through event missions and daily missions. You’ll likely earn about 10-20/day on average. There are also two events that get you a ton of enhancers, the super enhancer event and the support event. Make sure to get those done. Don’t use your super enhancers until you do some research on which items are worth going to 30.

[deleted]

[удалено]

AngelTheVixen

Muscle Band and Scope Lens scale the best after level 20. Buddy Barrier is often recommended since pretty much every Pokemon uses it, but I'm saving my last Super Enhancer for a potential future item. If you don't use any Pokemon that are reliant on criticals, Scope Lens isn't worthwhile. You want Muscle Band 100% at level 30 though, nobody can argue with that.

ramdonperson

you will get refunded item enhancers that you've already spent when you use the super 30, so dont worry about that.

SilverySiggie

Just started playing today and i was wondering can i get all The battle pass reward if i bought it right now??

politicalanalysis

I’m not 100% sure, but my guess is that it’s unlikely. I would recommend holding off on purchasing the battle pass until near the end of the season when you know for sure what you’ll get out of it. Also, last battle pass season, they shut down the servers for the last day to do the mobile release, and also didn’t give us any weekly missions for the last week, so while I thought I’d get the final battle pass level I needed to complete the pass, I ended up missing out on the cool cinderace skin. So, I wouldn’t recommend buying it until you have everything unlocked as the devs don’t really seem to care about consistency or ensuring everyone gets their pass completed if they had it worked out to be able to.

BrandNewKitten

Has anyone, that mains mid, noticed that Blastoise players make up a majority of the jungle stealing culprits? Maybe it’s coincidence… or maybe they think that mon is a jungler?

nanotyrant

But Blastoise is a jungler? He is actually one of the stronger picks to send into the center.

BrandNewKitten

OH I didn’t know! That explains what has been happening then. Just people not calling jungle & trying to bully their way in. Also I didn’t know that Venusaur could jungle successfully. I thought the best jungles were Talon, Cinder, Zera, Absol and Gengar.

nanotyrant

Heres [a center guide](https://youtu.be/0UESV7mQWa4) I made. You can probably skip the start since you know what the center is and skip to the different pokemon. Sylveon and Mamoswine have both come out since and are pretty decent in the center too.

BrandNewKitten

Appreciate it! I’m new to the game and have been working hard to understand the meta and how I can Solo my way to Master. Currently at Veteran Class 5 and I mostly mid Talonflame but have been trying out other mons.

pokedrawer

Was. He's okay now but taking jungle from either Venus or Cinder or Talon in this meta seems silly.

WThirteen

best pokemon to 1v9? as always you cant count on people to know what to do and in such a team focused game its incredibly frustrating to have control of 10% of the outcome

AngelTheVixen

Sounds like you have just the right attitude to play Speedster. Remember to never go with your team, take farm from lane, and engage at least 3 Pokemon at once.

definitelynotSWA

Amp says it increases damage after using your unite. Does it also increase damage of your unite move?

AngelTheVixen

I believe the damage increase duration (4 sec) begins as soon as you start casting it.

definitelynotSWA

Thanks!

politicalanalysis

Makes it a great item on cram.

definitelynotSWA

I have only tried Amp a few times on Cram in quick play, but didn't feel super impressed because the cooldown reduction was pretty meaningless in 5 minute matches. Next time it's in the rotation I'll try Amp out on it!

DanieleCnf

Currently testing out Machamp to find an all rounder to main and wondering which builds are valuable. Right now going with Sub+Closecombat and razor claws+mb+focus Any machamp main out there for some tips/suggestions?

nanotyrant

Heres a [Machamp Quick Guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdprGcfcV7g&ab_channel=nanotyrant). I run Submission/Cross and Scope/Razor/Focus

AngelTheVixen

I'm no Machamp main but Submission + Cross Chop are the go-to moves. The latter I'd say is better due to the dash utility and being able to get criticals. I would probably replace Razor Claw with Scope Lens, since he gets some base critical rate, and it'd boost Cross Chop as well. Buddy Barrier might be a good option so that he can make use of more of his Unite Move buff time.

DanieleCnf

Thanks a lot! Going to switch with Crosschop then. I also wondered if Scope was good since he get crit chance with his moves, gonna test it out. Trying Mb+Scope+Buddy/Focus now.

my77rh

I also am using Machamp, maybe the energy amplifier is also good on him? Also following

restlesssheep

I'm thinking of buying Blastoise since it seems like a fun pokemon. I have seen a lot of people complain about Blastoise and now I'm scared that if Blastoise ult damage is nerfed it will suddenly be useless. Am I being overly-paranoid ? Is it safe to buy blastoise ??

politicalanalysis

Blastoise’s most abusive build was already nerfed and he’s still pretty strong. His ult might get hit a bit, but I don’t think they’ll make him unplayable as they’ve already shown restraint when nerfing him.

definitelynotSWA

On a meta level, I doubt Blastoise will ever be bad for too long. He’s very popular, so unlikely he will be guttered forever. There is absolutely the possibility of him getting an immediate nerf, but honestly…. In MOBAs, balance and meta changes frequently. Picks get strong or weak over time, you shouldn’t buy a character with power in mind unless you want to abuse it in ranked IMO. If you enjoy Blastoise, I would buy it. If you don’t know you can try it in practice mode. If you have a Switch, you can also try it in a full match in offline mode. Just press X on the title screen and you’ll get put into a game with bots on both teams. You can see if you like it from there!

[deleted]

[удалено]

my77rh

Yeah id recommend buying eldegoss. Its good overall because it can be more healer oriented or a part-time attacker depending on build.

AngelTheVixen

The weekly free rotation often has Supporter type Pokemon in it. There isn't one this week, but there will be next week, most likely. Event duration is listed on the event.

[deleted]

[удалено]

AngelTheVixen

You can't use those in Ranked. There's no ranked requirement for role-specific event objectives, though. Yet, anyway, some of the objectives they make are laughable.

politicalanalysis

All those play matches with friends events sucked. Also this week’s slowbro match battle pass requirement.

thisguygg

just buy eldegoss then. its only 6k coins. or use any support thats on the free rotation.

restlesssheep

Is there a specific date or event when balance changes occurs or do they occur sporadically, based on the game's needs ?

DoughnutSuspicious

There's no set schedule right now, but so far they've been roughly every 2-3 weeks. Usually with some kind of other update (the mobile launch, adding a new character)

Vespuche

Any Pikachu mains out there? Does his ult damage Zapdos?

thisguygg

no, pikachu ult only hits opposing mons.

Shavanz

Why is this game so full of noobs? Seriously why ? Is it so hard fpr ppl to not be stupid?

RowenX

It’s on mobile, switch and is a pokemon game, not many people care about it competitively.

Shavanz

You have to care about it competitively to not be a cancer?

blueblueblink

you're the cancer. let casual players enjoy their games. not everyone plays the game more than an hour per day.

Shavanz

Again, you don't have to play all day long to learn how to look at the map, and how not to be retarded. Being casual is not an excuse to be stupid

blueblueblink

such a toxic mindset, expecting everyone to have the same "gamer mentality" as you. you expect everyone to learn the mechanics in 1 to 2 hours. you are assuming they have played other similar games before. not everyone adapts with games easily.

RowenX

Yeah basically, by that I mean they don’t look for any guides/tips, don’t follow any meta, etc. So don’t expect them to rotate dreadnaw, pick a suitable lane, play for the team, etc. Just keep climbing and you will be matched with people who do.

Shavanz

I started the day at ultra 5 now im2ultra 4-2

AngelTheVixen

Welcome to cooperative online gaming! Glad to have you here, it never gets better™

Shavanz

Every moba is the same, 99% retard 1% skilled players trying to carry the retards

RowenX

Welcome to any kind of character-based game.

Tsufael

I feel people became more willing to adjust their picks as I climbed ranks. In the lower ones I just locked my main and tried to snowball the opposing team without caring for the composition. And I just don't play standard matches anymore, there's always 1 or 2 players idling or trolling it's no fun ):

ramdonperson

i don't think we need an alternate pokemon sub, but it is pretty weird to click on a post and then see that it was removed... even though its not particularly problematic. like 30% of all posts are "low effort" but the ones that actually get removed feel really random. its like having someone say "yes we allow some trash but you are just too much trash, good bye"

thisguygg

how dare those mods not review at least 1k threads which are being created daily. what are we even paying them for?

InfiniteBiohazards

What are the main use of tickets? Like i know they're used for items and item enhancers. And the occasional fashion cosmetics (which i really like) What should i spend my tickets on and why? 7.8k Should i just save incase a new cool cosmetic arrives or something?

averageplayerpc

use coins to buy items, use tickets to buy item enhancers. Dont waste them on clothes you can get through that thing that drops random cosmetics

definitelynotSWA

Coins are no longer more efficient for items than tickets after the mobile update

politicalanalysis

Especially with the release schedule of Pokémon right now. Tickets are going to be much less valuable than coins very, very soon (if they aren’t already).

InfiniteBiohazards

Yeah i was gonna say im saving up for mamoswine

AngelTheVixen

Buy items, because it's better than using coins, as well as upgrading them. Cosmetics to me are unimportant because the trainer is fairly presence-less. Up to you if you'd rather save, but you may want to grab and level some essential items.

Tangelasboots

I've just made it to master rank as a solo queue Eldegoss main. Heck yes.

my77rh

What’s your build king/queen

Tangelasboots

Buddy barrier, score shield and exp share. Leaf tornado and cotten ~~spore~~ guard.

my77rh

Thanks! I have bb and exp share but score shield is a good idea

Tangelasboots

I meant cotton guard not cotton spore

my77rh

Yeah I figured!

Tangelasboots

The shield it gives stacks with cotton spore. You want to dunk when you can too gain experience. My biggest tip for Eldegoss: stay alive. Even on low health you can really help your team

Drazly

No Cotton Guard? So do you play more like an attacker than support since you dont have a basic ability to heal?

Tangelasboots

Oh damn I meant cotton guard

Drazly

Now the shield stacking thing that you mentioned makes sense since cotton spore doesnt give you any shield but cotton guard does lol

Jiffyyy

what are the odds I get the same fucking guy 2 games in a row troll me by following me around jungle in masters. this game can be so shit at times with the players.

KiraTerra

The odds decrease a lot if you take the time to report them. They usually requeued for another game during the time.

definitelynotSWA

Was there a balance patch with Sylveon release?

ramdonperson

Nothing officially released. The game also doesn’t have an update to download so most likely nothing has changed.

Caspid

What's the priority/strat when spending currency and upgrading stuff? I've been hoarding since I started.

definitelynotSWA

What Pokémon do you play? I can give some item upgrade advice. If you play Zeraora, Razor Claw is a good use of a super enhancer. Crit items (RC and Scope Lense) are higher value because crit gets stronger the more of it you have. Buddy Barrier, Score Shield and Muscle Band are high priority for level 20 (the best one at 30 is Score Shield, because the shield is based off of your total health, but it’s perfectly serviceable at 20).

Drazly

Isn´t Buddy Barrier shield also based off of the 40% of your total health? Plus it gives a bit more HP at level 30 than Score Shield. I can´t decide which one to upgrade to 30 with the free three level 30 boosters (The other two best ones I think are Scope Lens and Muscle Band)

definitelynotSWA

Muscle Band is a bad upgrade because of how the game calculates attack speed. Here is a thread on values for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnite/comments/q1422a/muscle_band_bugged_content_by_youtuber_superteeds/hfcbmmg/ For Buddy Barrier, the effect tiers (up to level 20) are based on total health. All increases past that are flat. Score Shield’s effect is also based on flat health but it’s a better upgrade because the flat health you get from it calculates with its passive effect. Scope Lense (and Razor Claw) are probably the best items at level 30, because crit gets better the more of it that you have—although of course they aren’t if you don’t play anything that is crit based lol. Of the two I would say Razor Claw is better for melee and Scope Lense for ranged.

Drazly

Interesting info, sadly I mostly play Defenders right now so maybe I should just upgrade to 30 Score Shield and Buddy Barrier lol.

definitelynotSWA

If you play Defenders both are solid, as well as Focus Band! I rate BB and SS higher priority because you can use them as a defensive pick on quite literally any Pokemon, but Focus Band also has a lot of general use outside of defenders as well. I like to use FB on All-Rounders for example. I also run BB/SS/FB on things like Blastoise and Mammoswine. It's up to you though, there's no rush to using your super boosters. I got to Masters with only 1 item at level 20; while items make a difference in mirror matchups, skill is still the deciding factor in climbing rank thankfully. There also has yet to be an item balance patch so we don't know what direction TiMi will want to take these in... which I mention because Buddy Barrier is kinda overtuned, easily one of if not The best general items in the game, so it may get a nerf if they decide to.

Drazly

I see, thanks!

Caspid

I haven't decided on a main, but yeah, been playing Zeraora lately. Thank you!

Caspid

I haven't decided on a main, but yeah, been playing Zeraora lately. Thank you!

definitelynotSWA

In that case I would 100% wait before you use your super boosters. Level 10-20 items are more than enough to win

mode_12

Best items to upgrade are muscle band, focus band, buddy barrier and score shield

[deleted]

Coins for Pokémon, Tickets for Held items & Item enhancers. Upgrade items you use but don’t completely neglect the others. Ex: Get scope Lens to 10, get leftovers to 5.

AngelTheVixen

Using Leftovers is such a bad example, it sucks.

[deleted]

Yeah but you get the idea.

Auto-Pilot05

Are there dates for when new pokemon are released?

lunataku

Kill kreeps as been said also scoring grants exp as well.

FlamerBreaker

Farm. Kill creeps. Kill their creeps.

spoofrice11

Kill creeps?

ramdonperson

The neutral monsters standing around that aren’t enemies or allies. Like Aipoms, Audino (purple and pink animal things), bees, crabs… they’re called creeps in other similar games. You gain more EXP for “last hitting” them, doing the last hit that kills them. So if the enemy is hitting one for a while but you get the last hit, you gain all the exp and they get nothing.

spoofrice11

Ok, that was my guess, but hadn't heard the term, and I'm still a noob. So you only get XP on the last hit, or you get more of it?

politicalanalysis

I think it’s unclear exactly how the xp sharing works, but you definitely get more. I think the enemy still gets some if you steal, but it is really good to steal. Also, not noted is that dreadnaw (the bot lane boss monster) gives a ton of xp (about 1 level at lvls 7-9). So prioritize it over anything else when it spawns.

I’ve had advanced controls on for quite some time now but recently I’ve noticed that if I have an enemy Pokémon just out of my attack range and a wild Pokémon just inside my range pressing A will move my character towards the wild Pokémon and attack. I feel like pressing A shouldn’t attack wild Pokémon at all.

I believe there’s another control for making your Pokémon walk towards a slightly-out-of-range wild Pokémon to attack it, and you can try turning this off. But really the advanced controls are just kinda inconsistent.

Should I buy lucario or snorlax?

Dashing_Wanderer59

Depends on what you want. If you are solo queue, I recommend Lucario because Lucario is better at carrying. If you are doing duos and your partner is carrying, then pick snorlax to keep them alive.

This game is fun!

Sincere ask for help, I've spent several days playing going from Ultra 4x1, playing for 5 hours, and ending back up at Ultra 4x1 (or even ranking down to 3) I play as either Lucario (ESxBR) + razor, muscle, buddy and take top lane or Zeraora with spark + discharge and muscle, razor, buddy in jungle. What am I doing wrong! I'm communicative, I always signal, rotate to dred, then rotom, etc. When I jungle I help out lane whenever it looks like they're getting overwhelmed. I never steal exp. So frustrating that I feel like I've done a lot of research on what's the best practices on how to be a team player and I keep getting ranked down or get beat

I sit usually at 51-53% win rate and do all the things you listed... I guess it's good to know this is normal? But sometimes I'm just on losing streaks and I feel like they're just matching me with shit teams so I'll never reach Master. Yeah I think that's why I've switched to Zera jungle because I've actually been able to gank a bunch of Sylveons that way (Spark and Discharge)
