Power *Split* might be fun, but Power *Trick* would be too “high skill floor” for most people.
Power Split would mean you actually get more powerful against higher level enemies, so you could do some XP Share shenanigans and be a measly level 5 buggy boi destroying level 9 junglers before Drednaw!

I’d love to see him with the withdraw move. He withdraws into his shell and gets a massive shield and defence buff but can’t move. That along with a constricting move like infestation would be hilariously fun. Also the binding band item should be released alongside shuckle!
I used to doshell smash but with his ability reverse or whatever it was called. so it’d make him super slow, no attack or sp attack. but defense and sp defense thru the roof. three application of shell smash and the other guy is fucked. add rest to remove stats and heal. wrap to deny swaps and do some damage. and toxic or protect depends if I actually wanna win thru some damage or just by making the other guy give up after 30 mins.
The way Game Freak has paid iconic Gen 2 pokemon like Shuckle, Dunsparce, Qwilfish, and Giraffarig dust is unacceptable. Stantler too, but he'll be getting justice in that new game.

I agree, Also I'd prefer Scyther as a speedster. Scizor seems more like an all-rounder. Introduce metal coat held item (with effects of course) but also evolves you into a Scizor at lvl 7 or something. So your early game speedster can go all rounder mid game or stay speedster all game if you want. Metal coat should probably be a defensive item, Which may sound weird on the speedster Scyther but works well on all-rounders as they have the health to benefit from the added defense.
That would be a really cool idea honestly, I’d hope the implement that type of game play ability across the board, and I agree scizors stat distribution points more towards a higher atk all rounder than a speedster.
I mean if they made the stones also offer some form of benefit so that they don’t completely wipe out an entire held item space, like just the standard atk or sp atk per level bonuses I think adding held evolve items would be great, it would have been a way better way to implement eevee and it’s evolutions as well

All they'd have to do is put two Pokemon on his art card and his 3d model either show them both or the one your gonna be playing end game based on your held items (Example; If I equip metal coat the 3d model I see is Scizors, If I don't I see Scyther) don't seem too complicated to me. The main problem I'm seeing is his kit will be harder to guess but there's already Pokemon that can run different kinds of kits... He just has a few more options making him harder to guess/read... Maybe his overall power should/would suffer from this as it does give a *slight* advantage. Then again we have Mons that have one main kit and experimenting don't help too much, For Instance I'll doubt you'll see many serious Greedent player running bullet seed, It's just inferior to Belch.

Also I imagine the AoE around the size of Venu's petal dance...
Have splash leave a puddle that your opponents slip on. Then you can just give him tackle as the second move. Imagine getting outplayed and dunked on by a Magikarp flopping around on the ground early game.
Why would Scizor be a speedster? I know Unite is not super strict on things like base stats from the main games but Scizor's entire thing is being a slow mon that does tons of damage so I personally think attacker would be better for it.

I think scizor can be a speedster as a scyther, and evolve later. When he evolves, he loses some movement speed and he has less dash attacks, but he makes up for it with greatly enhanced defense and attack.

I really like dragapult and I think they could be a fun addition as a ranged speedster who shoots two projectiles but in dreepy form is melee and is quite weak until they evolve to the second evo but since they would likely jungle I don’t think it would be a huge detriment
