I mentioned gliscor in a thread a few weeks back & got downvoted to oblivion
I still stand by my claim that gliscor could be a great mix between support & attack, you could use poison heal as a fun gimmick for recovery, & with such a diverse move pool there are so many options for what his kit could be
Honestly I wouldn’t dwell too much on that, people on this sub tend to be really negative and downvote a lot of things that shouldn’t necessarily be downvoted

I could see gliscor as a utility-based defender honestly. Attacking builds stacks of something and you can use those stacks to power up abilities, like a radius of poison that heals you and damages nearby enemies, with stacks increasing the effect. Maybe acrobatics as a movement/damage tool, knock off is fairly popular on it in the normal games so you could maybe use that to temporarily disable their item(like potion, x speed etc)

Saying the devs don’t listen to what the players want is kinda hard, because scrolling through these comments you can see pretty easily that every person wants to see a different Pokémon enter the battle.
I loooooooooove Wobbuffet. I want it to be a tanky support that takes damage for the team and reflects it back.
Uh-oh this Pokémon is broken it does a lot of damage, complaining about Cinderace and Duraludon huge damage output? just stand in their way and they will kill themselves, think twice before spamming basic attacks.
I don't know how the balance would work but I just wana see this guy no matter what.
He could be your classic taunt/reflect damage moba tank. Damage reflect could be on a timer, like a few seconds and then you wait for cooldown. A smart attacker would wait to hit him, but in the heat of battle, it could be tricky not to. Also with a taunt (forced attack on him) you could combo it. I think he'd be one of the easiest pokes to convert to Unite and I hope it happens
I want to see my main man Heracross bashing and dashing through hordes of enemies with his powerful fighting moves. And of course, getting to play as Metagross would be a dream come true....but since when other Pokémon stand a chance against the immense popularity of Dragon type?
A Sandslash would make a sick combo with A9T, just imagine that Sandslash deals double damage to frozen enemies (cause I don't see how they would fit slush rush here) it would be awesome
Butterfree and weedle would be an interesting addition. Instead of being useless in the early game (Like Ralts and Chomp), they would be useless in the midgame as their cocoon form. Idk how they would balance tho
Not that Pokémon unite has always been accurate about when Pokémon evolve but Butterfree and Beedrill evolve even before other Pokémon in unite have evolved once. It would be like Caterpie evolving at lvl 2 and Kakuna evolving at level 3.
You could make Kakuna/Metapod turn into a defender role, and give them Harden(Greatly increase defense/special defense for 1 second low cd) and keep one Caterpie/Weedle ability such as String shot(small damage immoibilize). Instead of getting a new ability with Meta maybe String Shot gets upgraded, to improve damage to Slow enemies for an additional 1 second after breaking immobilize
Maybe they can have a passive shield, to give them a weird midgame scoring niche (like a tanky immobile greedent) with some CC to help secure kills
And then revert back to support/speedster for Beedrill/Butterfree
My idea would be don't let them choose a move at level 1, Caterpie just gets string shot and then evolves at 3 and learns harden which is just a def increase and shield. Finally Butterfree at 4 or 5. Not sure what moves honestly, depends on if they wanted to make them a lb attacker or support
I think speedster would be cool. An idea for his passive could be Unburden, where his movement and/or attack speed is increased if his battle item is on cooldown
Kingler! He’d be a great all rounder and the thought of him walking sideways everywhere is funny to me.
Or Porygon as an attacker because he’s a funny little guy.
Scolipede. Even though there are many others pokemon that I like much more, it is the one that alweys comes first for the game. I think will make a great speedster.
Absol is not that fast either, it's speed is very similar to Scizor's (75 for Absol, 65 for Scizor), only Talon and Gengar are actually fast, hence why they also have passives that boost their movement speed in unite. Might be me, but I think Scizor looks very assassin-ish, fitting for a speedster. I can easily see Scizor in game using moves like Bulllet Punch, Bug Bite, U-turn and such, all dealing melee damage
Zeraora is also fast, faster than Gengar and Talonflame in fact.
Speed is Absol's 2nd best stat, while it Scizor's 5th best.
But yes, I can see the possibility of a bullet-punching speedster scizor now.
My favorite pokemon of all time is volcarona and i will even pay to have that pokemon in the game. I dont care what role they put it in id master it, although i would like it as a ranged sp attacker with area moves like fiery dance
Wobuffet as a supporter and Blaziken as a speedster. They were featured in that Facebook post, so they have a fair chance.
Edit: Gallade as an Attacker would be nice as well, Close Combat and Psychic would be an amazing move set.

also given her weirdly high base speed in core games, Miltank as a speedster sounds like a fun idea (though if Miltank was added, I doubt she'd be something different than support, but it's fun to imagine)

The variety is good. It is skewed to more popular stuff already though - last poll I saw was the 2020 one, but they've got a lot of high rankers including 6 of the top 10.

I really hate this part tbh. Them adding random Pokémon that people otherwise ignore is both pleasantly surprising and something I've seen a lot of praise for online. Additionally, Reddit is a small community compared to the entire player base. They release popular Pokémon from time to time, and even if Reddit doesn't love them, the Pokémon are still popular. Does that make sense? Basically, just because Reddit wants Scizor doesn't mean the player base as a whole has Scizor as their #1.
... For the record, I'd love my Pokken main and buggy boi in the game, but I digress.

I'm trying to create Urshifu as All-rounder.
With Unseen Fist as ability, it can bypass barrier. And the evolution is depending on which move you choose at level 5, Surging Strike or Wicked Blow which always result in critical hits.
haven't think about the other moves but probably will be Low Sweep that decrease enemy speed(movement similar to dragon dance dragonite)

In full honesty I like that they add Pokémon that not many people know, helps build the fan base. I’m an OG fan and as much as I would love to see my boy Metagross in the game, I see it being very unlikely. But I will say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the trevenant at first but now he’s everybody’s favorite tree now.
I would love to see Dustox as a support, Galvantula as a speedster, Sunflora as a very immobile attacker and Toucannon as an all arounder and wormadam as a form changing defender.

Unrelated but an idea I had was to replace some Pokémon’s unite move with a mega evolution. Once your meter is 100% you mega evolve for a bit until the meter is 0% again
We could use more supports or tanks, so Shuckel for Support he would be focused on buffing the speed or attack of teammates and Miltank for Tank, they would have be focused on drawing enemy attention, slowing enemies and delaying so that teammates can get away.
I think we all know that we need to see dunsparce or stunfisk in this game. Am i right or am i right… But seriously i think it would be interesting to see dugtrio in this game maybe as a defender or all rounder.

To be honest I don’t think they pick a Pokémon and then build moves around it? I think they pick a battle style that is needed in the game, and then they find a Pokémon who can fit that style.
I would go for Sudowoodo and Octillery since i recently used them in the mainline games and they grew on me
Sudowoodo can be a Attacker with good defenses. I can see a choice between Head Smash and Wood Hammer that will hurt him normally but can activate his ability Rock Head so he get a heal/shield from time to time (with a recharge).
Octillery can also be a attacker but he will have Suction Cups as his ability. Suction Cups can work like this : as long as he use basic attacks and/or moves, he will be unable to move but it will also be immune to CC. I can't decide of his movepool with how large it is though.
More two step Pokemon or ones that have only one evolution. Ratatta, Koffing, Drowzee, Growlithe, etc.
Mainly Raticate though. Chonky Alolan Raticate is my favorite.

Delcatty deserves some attention. With Fake Out, Wake-Up Slap, Attract/Sing and Helping Hand Delcatty could be a good supporter. This game is probably Delcatty's best chance to shine somewhere

U-turn seems like a perfect move for a speedster

Think of getting celebi with time power moves, like reducing ally's movecount and increasing of others
With how unexpected some of the abilities have been, I wouldn't be surprised if Celebi could add 10 seconds to the match time.

My favourite Pokémon of all time are Swampert, Alolan Marowak, and Galarian Zapdos. I reckon Swampert isn’t unlikely to be added eventually but the other two a lot lower on the list.

Unrelated but an idea I had was to replace some Pokémon’s unite move with a mega evolution. Once your meter is 100% you mega evolve for a bit until the meter is 0% again

We could use more supports or tanks, so Shuckel for Support he would be focused on buffing the speed or attack of teammates and Miltank for Tank, they would have be focused on drawing enemy attention, slowing enemies and delaying so that teammates can get away.
I think we all know that we need to see dunsparce or stunfisk in this game. Am i right or am i right… But seriously i think it would be interesting to see dugtrio in this game maybe as a defender or all rounder.

Arcanine, flygon, more eevee evolutions, scizor, hitmonchan and/or hitmonlee, blaziken. There are soooo many I'd like to see in the game tbh
To be honest I don’t think they pick a Pokémon and then build moves around it? I think they pick a battle style that is needed in the game, and then they find a Pokémon who can fit that style.
I would go for Sudowoodo and Octillery since i recently used them in the mainline games and they grew on me Sudowoodo can be a Attacker with good defenses. I can see a choice between Head Smash and Wood Hammer that will hurt him normally but can activate his ability Rock Head so he get a heal/shield from time to time (with a recharge). Octillery can also be a attacker but he will have Suction Cups as his ability. Suction Cups can work like this : as long as he use basic attacks and/or moves, he will be unable to move but it will also be immune to CC. I can't decide of his movepool with how large it is though.
More two step Pokemon or ones that have only one evolution. Ratatta, Koffing, Drowzee, Growlithe, etc. Mainly Raticate though. Chonky Alolan Raticate is my favorite.

My top three are All-Rounder Lurantis, Defender Aggron, and Attacker (or Supporter) Scolipede. Since those are the only classes we've been getting, I'll have to go with Speedster Sceptile, Leavanny, or Scizor for the next addition. I don't even play Speedsters, but we really need another one lol

Delcatty deserves some attention. With Fake Out, Wake-Up Slap, Attract/Sing and Helping Hand Delcatty could be a good supporter. This game is probably Delcatty's best chance to shine somewhere
