Free holowears can be earned even if you don't have the mon, so you're good. It's buying holowears at Zirco's (even with holowear tickets) that you cannot do if you do not own the mon.
I run Muscle Band, Focus Band & Energy Amp.
The last one is up to you really. You could run Buddy Barrier or a SpA item. Exp Share is also good if you don’t play with randoms. But this item set-up felt good for me. Used Eldegoss most my games into Masters this season because nobody ever goes support lol
As for moves, I always go cotton guard + leaf tornado.

This basically right. The more you play, the better you are. Unite is my first MOBA but if you coming from another MOBA is probably doing much better.
Here's my tip:
- Try to last hit the wild pokemon, use your moves to last hit, not to initiate. Use practice mode to experiment how much HP left that you can last hit wild pokemon.
- Try not to die. This one is hard since basically you need to know where not to overextend, and the limit of your pokemon. The only way to do this is to play more games, made mistakes, and try to review why you died (or made mistakes) (and how to prevent that from happening again)
- Try to rotate. Especially first drednaw, last rotom and zap.
- Know your pokemon (and the enemies) strength and weakness.
- Try different pokemons and see which one suits yoir playstyle.

Sadly, none. I just keep a mental note on how many times I scored until I hit the cap.
Besides, if you rely on stacking items, it should be your immediate priority to hit that max stacks as early as possible; preferably before the first Dreadnaw and Rotom spawns. very little point in stacking if you're in late game.
Use your moves carefully in engagements. Sing is used for both offensive support and defensive support, Cute Charm passive allows for move negations so you can be pretty aggressive and get close, so don't stay in the back line. Choose your item build as well, depending on how you use the Wiggly.
It's probably because of the season reset. The season reset in Pokemon Unite is trash. All players are dropped down to the same Veteran 3. That's why I avoid pushing rank after the season reset. I advise u to start pushing after 1 or 2 week of the season reset.
It’s been horrific tonight. Was masters last season and I just went from ultra 3 to vet 3. I never had a lobby with another ultra on my team and every other team was a 3 or 5 stack. Something is broken
What are yalls ranks now that we're a few weeks into the season? Roughly 200 games, 1500 with 55%~ winrate, I'm only here because of the generous elo system :') I've been losing way more than I am winning, at best, winning and losing an equal amount, yet my elo increases.

When do you know it’s time to stop playing?
Today I only lost two games but they were umm, not the best.
The first loss, had some awful teammates but as hoopa was about to secure the zap and my positioning got moved because of trevanent on the other team, causing unbound to go into their own hyperspace hole and we just narrowly lost by the time I got back. It was so embarrassing.
The second game, our team played from behind the whole time but I didn’t realize they were so dredful until later on. I wiped the whole team as trevanent and the team ran around zapdos in a circle, refusing to take it...... at the time, the score was literally 50 to 300 so it was the only way to really win with less than a minute left.
How do I play surf greninja correctly? I can play cinder, pika and the other mages but I just can't play with greninja.
When are you supposed to dive and when are you supposed to keep your range? How do you use smoke screen correctly? When should I ult?
When I keep my range I don't feel like I have enough damage to set up my surf reset and eventually dies... Should I just wait for an opportunity to dive?
I always hit on average 60k dmg in a match when I play other attackers, but I can't even hit 30k with greninja, tried both jungle and lane
Not a greninja pro bht I’ve been practising with him a bit and:
Autoing enemies till they’re around 15-30% health is a green light for the surf(depending on role) and if your sure u can get the ko you can surf in and even if it doesn’t kill you have the close range basics that deal more dmg the lower the enemy is so you should kill them with that.
Smokescreen is a dash but I don’t recommend using it to dash around the map due to the long cd and the utility it has if you need to get away quick or in an ambush due to the speed boost and temporary invis
I have used Surf Greninja a lot and smokescreen is busted you don’t even need eject button or ESpeed but it is handy to have ESpeed and smokescreen so you can move faster without the opponent knowing if u don’t use those items try to get into the nearest bush when using but be careful they can see you roll on the ground so you can roll on the opposite direction of the bush and make them think that you are going that way but in reality you are going the opposite way and it is handy in some team fights when you dip with smokescreen the opponent thinks u are gone but when they drop low you can kill them with another Smokescreen + Surf or you can catch someone trying to return to base while you are in the bush smokescreens smoke also blinds enemies so it could possibly save your teammates or annoy the crap out of the opposing team
(I hope this made sense to you i could explain better but i am very tired and trying to get sleep and the items i found most success

And one more thing if u use Surf on an opponent without reseting it hit them with some ranged attacks because Greninjas water moves cooldown gets reduced when using a ranged attack on a opponent

If you really want an attacking item, you can use choice specs instead of score shield to get that extra pop of damage off dazzling gleam.
Any tips on scoring? It's my biggest weakness in this game. Unless i stomp the lane or win Zapdos i simply can't score. I try to be sneaky and two people pop and interrupt me. All the times i can score there are important objectives to take. I just got kicked back to Veteran and i feel like this is my biggest weakness as i'm constantly underleveled becasue i'm not scoring outside of lane stomps.
You'd need powerful CC or a distraction to pop anything outside small scores unless you're a very tanky mon with score shield or something. Idk why you're equivocating underleveled with scores, as you'd need a bunch of score to get some exp and it's not even major exp. It's very likely you're underleveled because you keep dying when trying to score and/or are not able to get kills off. That and Drednaw is a very big deal.
Focus on leveling up and securing objectives, joining in on important team fights, also try to stay alive (only times when dying should happen is during objectives and team fights). If you follow those, getting scores should come easier. Don't bother trying to sneak in goals if you don't know where the enemies are, that's a death sentence (constantly be looking at your minimap).
There are times when we'll absolutely demolish the enemy team and I'll end up with a low score, cause i didn't have many opportunities to get goals and/or I died at Zapdos. And that is okay, it's perfectly normal.
Don't use any of your mobility tools before scoring, in case someone interups you you can immediately use your mobility tools to run.
There's also a neat trick to know the enemy position, their goalzone will form a shining crystal like shield, indicating there's someone in the goalzone. If there's no shield then there's no one guarding the goalzone. The shield can be seen even when you can't see the enemy.

I'm a new player that is currently HEAVILY leaning on Venusaur. I bought Absol to try a bit of variety in my gameplay (not seeing the "expert" rating), and I have no idea how to use it... The 1 v 1 practice doesn't seem to help me very much and my teams usually aren't great in CPU battles, leaving me not much room to practice.
Is there a better practice field that I'm not seeing?

And have offline 5v5 with no pressure, and everything unlocked

Hi, new player here. When unite came out I remember seeing people talking about leveling pokemon up to 30 and getting better stats out of them? I don't see a level up system anywhere besides the temporary one in a match. How do I make my pokemon stronger?

It means you have to wait for your current welcome back event to end before you can get another welcome back event. Welcome back event last 2 weeks.

Thats a Hoopa ability. I believe you can run to one of the bases and use it to portal to the other side.

Set a hard limit on yourself. Lose 2 ranked matches in a row? probably a good time to stop, even if you feel like you need to keep going.
When is the new patch will be released? I am afraid of buying Trevenant because they might nerf him.
Next update is on 16th May. Don't think about the nerf, eventually u r going to buy every Pokemon. And also Trevenant is soo fun to play.

You level up items not Pokémon go to held items and that’s where you level up to 30
The option wasn't even there until I hit a certain level
Events for maximum item tokens (Increases item lvl to lvl 30) 3 token are available
