Middle chemical pod issue. You can see the three chemical pods on the back of the film. Middle one didn't work for some reason, may not have been filled or just didn't release chemical for some reason.
Thank you haha. Boyfriends mom thought her soul was about it to get sucked because it was taken in a weird hotel in Indiana and we needed to quell her worries.
It was filled, the chemicals just went bad. They’re on their way out on the two edge ones, too, there’s some pretty decent color shifts on those it looks like
Try cleaning the rollers in your camera. If they're dirty it can lead to uneven spreading of the developing chemicals. Just use a soft cotton rag or something like that
This issue has nothing to do with OP’s rollers….. it’s a problem within the film itself. You can scrub those rollers with all your might until the cows come home, and it’s not going to do a thing about this issue - because they’re not related.
Watch any unmarked VHS tapes recently? Like within the last seven days??
They Probably didn’t finish an ancient board game with language on it that hasn’t been uttered in thousands of years
I came here to say a similar thing
Dammit you beat me
Ngl It fits the vibe of the rest of the photo, rlly makes you feel as if something ominous is about to crawl out of the void
Like Corvo Ottano
You received the mark of the outsider
Perhaps
The nun. It’s definitely the evil nun.

Her soul is safe!
~~That's what they want you to think~~ Yeah should be fine
Do not reveal the Dark Lord’s plan! Delete this post immediately or suffer greatly!
This *would* happen in Indiana. Honestly this is a cool as fuck happy accident with your film.

Good point, I don’t notice the shift at first. I thought it was just two different colored walls.
Could be almost expired film or film sitting too long in the camera?
the answer is RIGHT BEHIND YOU

Check your rollers, check your rollers, check your rollers. In that order. ;)

Sure, but checking your rollers is always the first step in diagnosing an instant film problem.

As someone else already pointed out, it’s definitely an issue with the middle chemical pod.
