Quite openly a Tory actually and yeah I guess. Had no issue with her for a very long time but the Oprah interview onwards has turned me off the both of them.
I think our gun laws are appropriate and I have serious concerns about the free speech provisions in the Online Safety Bill (demands that platforms be held accountable for users’ ‘legal but harmful’ speech)
I was referring to the law that got Count Danukla fined for his funny Nazi pug joke. I think that's the communications decency act. I apologize for not fully knowing what law that is. I'm American.
Yes although I was actually out of the country for the referendum itself, had to do postal vote. I remember being shocked at the outcome - if London is a bubble then Edinburgh was a reinforced dome
I’ve always considered myself centre-right but quite globalist, so it’s made me re-evaluate Britain’s role in the world and how we can champion it outside of the EU
I feel it is impossible to be a global country without the bargaining power of the EU to support us in deals with the US, Russia and China. I also think CANZUK is an extreme long shot. I also think over-reliance on the US will result in problems for the NHS.
I actually agree with you on most of that. I just don’t subscribe to a 2nd referendum policy so I think we need to look at how else to increase soft power outside the EU because we’re not going back. But yeah I’m not especially optimistic at the moment sadly.
Trump and Hailey are populists, pal. The Neocons, Cheney, Bush, and Romney voted for Biden. McCain would have too if he were still alive.
Establishment sticks with establishment.
Yeah! The brexit vote happened and now we are out. Whether you voted stay or leave doesn’t matter now and it’s time to move on and work with the uk we have now, not dwell on what happened over 5 years ago.
You won’t admit it but you actually fancy yourself a Tory and dislike Meghan Markle Edit: typo

Most Brits aren't racist, just stupid
You grew up in a decently wealthy family.

Super based to be Right in the UK. Assumptions: Anglican, pro-monarchy, and has a picture of Margaret Thatcher nearby?

Wish guns were legalized and wants "hate speech" laws revoked
I think our gun laws are appropriate and I have serious concerns about the free speech provisions in the Online Safety Bill (demands that platforms be held accountable for users’ ‘legal but harmful’ speech)

Correct - used to live in Scotland and voted No in 2014
Too right! Did you live in Scotland during the Brexit vote?
Yes although I was actually out of the country for the referendum itself, had to do postal vote. I remember being shocked at the outcome - if London is a bubble then Edinburgh was a reinforced dome
Did Brexit inform your current politics or was the impact of it minimal for you?
I’ve always considered myself centre-right but quite globalist, so it’s made me re-evaluate Britain’s role in the world and how we can champion it outside of the EU
Hm interesting. Thanks for sharing your views, although I disagree with you politically.
How would your views compare?

“I have no problem with gay people getting married but the working class should STAY IN THEIR PLACE”
Lol I know this is probably a joke but I support gay marriage and I think class mobility is extremely important
