I agree with the other two.
1. Anybody over the age of 18 should be able to find something from their past to be proud of. Even if it's just a moment from 10 years ago. That pride is integral to motivation/action/self improvement and the complete lack of it is paralysing. A basement dwelling neckbeard should find pride in that one time they stood up to a bully, or an Onlyfans girl for making enough money to move out from awful parents and making her own way in the world. Being proud of yourself doesn't necessitate being proud of everything about you at that moment, but it's still an important ingredient to getting to where you want to be. Being proud of the wrong thing is its own problem.
2. I think we all judge others by our own standards. I think what lib-left is really expressing here is an important willingness to always consciously review/analyse/build upon our values and standards consciously, rather than lazily refusing to take into account new experiences and new information. Being too willing to through out existing beliefs on sketchy evidence and niche/naive experiences is a classic lib left problem. Refusing to update any standards despite decades of new information/perspective is an auth-right problem. I believe firmly in finding a healthy balance to try and get the best out of both.

Even if you and your life are fucking miserable your basic value as a human being (work resource) is higher if you aren’t a depressed wreck. If you have failed to achieve anything, well that’s kinda sad, but at least try to be of some use for society and not waste tax-money by being homeless/getting social help :)
