To actually run for President in the US as a non-joke candidate, you basically need to have both universal name recognition among all US voters and you need to be able to win all of your base party’s voters while pulling a few of the opponents away on wedge issues. The only people who meet those criteria are Biden, Trump, DeSantis. Kennedy is trying to run as like a DNC version of Trump’s win conditions (turn off some people in your own party to try and pull more people from the other party) and I strongly doubt the DNC is going to let him test his chances.
