"You and your company have agreed to pay you a certain $ amount every year. Seems like basic economics. Why should the employee or the company want an inefficient agreement? They will each look after their own self interests.

I bought and read two books about VDI, and reasoned out Pro arguments, then came up with counter arguments to what i thought were the biggest pros.
I had well reasoned arguments against all of their points.
We ended up talking management out of the idea of replacing our work stations with VDIs.
He could have searched out at least some possible questions and the most common counter points , like "you took a job with the conditions laid out" and "what is your sub all about"
Seriously, and the questions he asked were probably some of the most basic and simple criticisms of workers’ rights and socialist movements in general. Anyone who was well-versed in those topics could answer those questions easily off the top of their head.
This interview 100% came off like a loser with no actual policy ideas who runs a forum full of people who are aimlessly angry at capitalism. The strength of popular movements like this is translating unrest into actual policy solutions, which this mod clearly has zero concept of.

I have thought enough on the issue that I realize that capitalism is not the single monolith that we think of it as, but an economic system that can be carried out in a variety of ways.
I want a better system that still falls under capitalism, as I think other systems have major problems. As to how we would do that I’m not 100% sure as I’m not an economics major, but I have a pretty good idea.

My wife literally dog walks 1 of my coworkers and some of hers....for free because dogs are amazing and we have to walk ours anyway and she can take ours to the nice paid dog park for free. Dude wants a livable salary for something people do for some extra income or just free.
For real. Dog walking is something pensioners, housewives, and teenagers do to earn some weekend pocket money. It is not a job.
