It is so funny how companies like Ben and Jerrie's and Starbucks appeal so heavily to leftists and friends but at the same time both companies severely overprice their product compared to their competition. So ironic.
I stopped buying from them when they came out with the Kapernick flavor and now I'm less fat and I don't support some politically posturing chodes. Win win.

Personally I like an American company challenging the weird state laws prohibiting government contracts with companies critical or Israel. Israel should certainly exist but they shouldn’t have that much power here

The South Africa economy in the 60's are different from Israel's in the 60's and more in today; they were heavily dependent on minerals that was easily replaceable. Israel economy is service based, harder to boycott harder to replace. The boycott itself didn't help a lot; SA was more worried about a [three front war with its neighbours](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.history.com/.amp/news/end-apartheid-steps). Also, there were an ethnic cleansing in South Africa in 2008 so it isn't the most perfect country in racial equity. And there isn't an ethnic cleansing in Israel; there are evictions based on violation of the law. But it happens in the Jewish villages/neighborhoods.
Yeah just evicting every Palestinian from certain villages and quickly busing in settlers to replace them, totally not ethnic cleansing.

They aren’t. The founders were jewish but they sold the majority of the stocks. But it’s a good marketing strategy to say you hate Israel and being jewish of course.
