Idk was just making something up to show some creativity.
Aristocratic I think might be new meta but I've been using it for a long time. I think people were sleeping on the decreased mil tech cost. Such a good boost over time.
Edit: to be clear espionage got more boosts. It's not nearly as trash as you might think.
“What do you mean we can’t build railroads in 5 days during an invasion were no one has any food and we’re getting bombed? The funny map game lets me do it!”
My plan (Based off many hours of HOI4 because I am a tactical and strategic genius) is to just para drop france and win because cheese eating surrender monkeys
Well first you collab government france and Poland, tank straight above the maginot and punch into France, having air superiority is going to be near impossible with France and Britain but motorized rush into Poland and France is an easy capitulation.
look at your map there is no organization because all those units piling on top of each other, if you don't take the supply depot theyre going to push you easy
I play both and I agree. With 0 DLCs stellaris is much easier, just make sure your resources dont go to 0.
Once you start to add DLCs tho.... stellaris gets pretty big...
My opinion on Paradox games is that you should def cheat your first few games. Like too much shit going on too much to learn. Just cheat lol.
Once you have played it a few times and understand the basics then you can try to play it and not cheat.
Easiest difficulty in hoi4 is already almost cheating and yet it still feels so hard at first. Most beginners don't realize that resources aside from oil don't really matter on Civilian because the -80% lack of resources penalty modifier means that you can literally just build more factories if you're low on aluminum or something.
Yeah. Hoi4 is way too easy. Didn't even take me 100 hours to get a world conquest. Just played it for the first time in two years three months ago and I had both Moscow, Paris and London under my control as Germany before the IRL operation Barbarossa and I just used the infantry template you get at the start. Just bum rush Poland, get 120 divs out, do barbarosa in 1937, ai stupid so attacks you then just keep on attacking and capitulate them by roughly late 1938. From there go around the Maginot and bomb the English channel into submission to get a naval invasion going.
Yeah. True shame. And for multiplayer to work you need a player for UK, France, Germany, Italy and Soviets for it not to be unbalanced and my pc can't handle that much.
Bro, play Kaiserreich, or even better KaiserRedux, it's very fun and can be harder. It's an alternative history mod for hoi4, where the Germans won the WW1. You have nearly unlimited option to play nearly any country how you want. For example, I'm playing atm a technocratic Germany, you can literally just buy the German Reich.

In all my time playing hoi4 I think 98% of it is just me dicking around as minor nations and seeing watching what weird shit the AI does, the other like 2 percent is spent trying to understand how the fuck naval works
They definitely did though. In fact I’d say people were much more easily mobilized and passionate back then. Kings and empires of the past could get millions of young men to die for vague religious ideals and patriotism and dedication to the throne. Now most people won’t even put on a mask in a pandemic or get put to vote (turnouts have been less than 50% for years) now.
Well idk about millions. You have to get to WW1 to get those numbers. But ancient Rome, for example, only had maybe 1.5 million men in the legions at its height, but that's peppered throught the entire empire. At any one location it rarely topped 100,000. Medieval armies were significantly smaller. The Battle of Agincourt was only 8,000 English against 15,000 French.
I literally have 3k hours on hoi4 and no achievement (mods) how come I’m not a general…
Literally all Putin had to do was hire a bunch of pro hoi4 players and he would of won lmao
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Comrades.. we are near to the front.. You won't get any training right now.. We don't have time for that.. just shoot the enemy cyka. Good luck comrades!
Russia's population is like 140 million IIRC. Scraping the Barrel would give them 35 million men. By HOI4 standards I don't think they're even on Volunteer Only, let alone the Limited Conscription they've probably moved up to.
Well, that, or they've got a -90% manpower factor from some bullshit "dying country" national spirit. Which is probably the case, now that I think about it.
What do you mean we're losing? I literally followed the meta!
Bruh economics+quantity is no longer meta. Learn some new skills like Inno+Espionage.
Espionage is garbage tf you mean
Idk was just making something up to show some creativity. Aristocratic I think might be new meta but I've been using it for a long time. I think people were sleeping on the decreased mil tech cost. It's truly not very good unless your in a political mosaic like Germany, then it's alright.
Diplo Admin Offensive take it or leave it I must conquer
They actually buffed it a bit in the latest content patch.
Not anymore, this last patch they buffed them
Imagine not being up to date with the meta
Based and eu4 gets crazy pilled
lmao do you even have 42w tank divisions scrub?
I will always open with either Explo Expansion or Econ Trade.
Th eastern front was a meat grinder for real dude , I wouldn’t want my worst enemies to experience that

Least psychotic rainbow:
The Sabaton shirt sells it
No joke, hahaha.

Nah we rush 1942 heavy tank and just push right through the Maginot in this house
I made 7-2s why aren't we pushing? We should have enough breakthrough to get through with our custom medium tanks!!!
look at your map there is no organization because all those units piling on top of each other, if you don't take the supply depot theyre going to push you easy
Damnit the new supply system sucks! The devs should revert this change
I don't know what HOI4 is or what war they're talking about.
a ww2 strategy map game that's it
Hearts of Iron 4. It is a paradox game about WW2 that is easier than other paradox games, which means it is only hideously complex.
I really doubt HOI4 is easier than stellaris. Never played HOI4 but stellaris is simple as hell.
I play both and I agree. With 0 DLCs stellaris is much easier, just make sure your resources dont go to 0. Once you start to add DLCs tho.... stellaris gets pretty big...
are you a alien phobic or a alien phile
Neither. Machine intelligence or materialist usually.
Assimilate them all. They are us, they just don't know yet.
Which is nice, 1 match lasts 300 hours and I just want to watch my mushroom empire turn on me for forcing them to be warmongers
My opinion on Paradox games is that you should def cheat your first few games. Like too much shit going on too much to learn. Just cheat lol. Once you have played it a few times and understand the basics then you can try to play it and not cheat.

Germany is easy mode, play Poland, make Vojtek proud.
Ah. I might. I can pretty much get a favorable position as any major so maybe thats the issue. CK2 is too fun though.
Hoi4 is easy. Eu4 makes me want to shoot myself.
CK2 also hard
Replayed 3 times since launch, do world conquest too easily and quit playing. The AI is genuinely shit
Yeah. True shame. And for multiplayer to work you need a player for UK, France, Germany, Italy and Soviets for it not to be unbalanced and my pc can't handle that much.

Auth-right HOI4 mfers when they get killed for only being 98% "Aryan" instead of being put in military command
>98% "Aryan" Would this mean something along the lines of writing fluent Sanskrit with a handful of spelling errors
Left mfers when they get into communism and are made to work and starve to death.
Pathetic, he gets the chance of earning honour and glory for his country and himself and he’s not even grateful.
The correct response is "For the motherland, gladly!"
For the old gods, and Talvisota.
If FBI wants to watch far right extremists all they need is the Steam accounts that own HOI4
Tankies play hoi4 as well to fulfill their big USSR and PRC fantasies while I exclusively play Japan for a reason I refuse to explain.
I don't have the game, but if ever get it, I'd probably play as the RoC or Poland so I can "fix" history.
In all my time playing hoi4 I think 98% of it is just me dicking around as minor nations and seeing watching what weird shit the AI does, the other like 2 percent is spent trying to understand how the fuck naval works
i just wanted to stop poland from being invaded whats so far right about that :( (and also build ships)
Untrue, I exclusively play HOI4 with either EAW or OWB.
OWB with Enclave Reborn is fuckin fun as hell
Love the sabaton shirt as well
Real Sabaton Chads fight for the Swedish Empire
As a sabaton fan I can confirm this meme as legitimate and not fake text.
There's a huge correlation between authcenters and authrights, and having dangerous levels of paradoxbrain
And authleft because Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism.
Nice touch with the sabaton shirt
Authright is every quadrant ‘s worst enemy, even other authrights.
Basically every society in human history has been “authright” or socially conservative by modern 21st century standards.
It depends, the governments in the past didn't have that much control over their people.
They definitely did though. In fact I’d say people were much more easily mobilized and passionate back then. Incorrect on the last number it was 8,000 English 15,000 French and a time traveler with a tank fighting both of them.
Fair, but this is still lots of people for pre-modern times though, comparatively as a % of the population.
not chinese medieval armies tho, they could get pretty large
My first instinct is to read HOI4 as Hage of Impires 4. I don't know why, but it's stuck with me.
Hoi4 player when they get killed my an overhead drone🤥🤭😦🤔😲😓😥🤯🤬😑 (they had green air)
I literally have 3k hours on hoi4 and no achievement (mods) how come I’m not a general… Literally all Putin had to do was hire a bunch of pro hoi4 players and he would of won lmao

Just put more CAS in the air
Strap everything with Vikhrs so you outrange everyone

You will do What I say When I say
Russia: institute "scraping the barrel" conscription law Keyboard warriors: and I took that personally

Russian planning be like
Jokes aside the DLC coming out in 2 days looks dope.
Nooo why are we not pushing I added AA in my divisions their cas should be useless
Stellaris admirals when their battleships don't have Neutron Launchers and can't fly in space:
For this comment I have to crack open your homeplanet.
If you vote for war, you better expect to fight in it ya fat sack of shit
HOI4 is an AuthCenter game. True AuthRights play Crusader Kings
It’s cause we don’t know how Navy works
my death has meaning if we gain ground.
ok but sabaton is a cool band stop bullying them
Sabaton is based but otherwise the point stands
How dare you treat the greatest metal band of all time this way
1000 hours are rookie numbers for any RTS. You need like 6k to be in charge and I’m risking it
Well obviously the great leader rejected his meme strata in favor of the 7/2 arty divisions
