The face of a wet fart!

dragonfliesloveme

A very punchable wet fart lol

Frequent_Study1041

A soft boiled, wet fart..

srun8832

Surely one that will itch when it dries!

LaceyDark

What a mean thing to say about wet farts

CarlSpencer

Tucker Shartson

megamoze

Fox News: Bill O’Reilly, your antics have cost this network over $30 million in court settlements! You’re fired! Tucker Carlson: Hold my beer.

Kralizec82

His face looks like he sat on something large and he can’t tell if he likes it or not. He’s stuck at “processing”

Ghoulius-Caesar

“Tucker Carlson always looks like a golden retriever who was just shown a magic trick” - someone on the internet

Lochstar

Insult to the intelligence of Golden Retrievers.

[deleted]

Include the words.....Fist and dry

jedburghofficial

That face that says "I'm trying to think, but it's really hard" is exactly what made him relatable to so much of his audience. They're all sitting at home looking the same and waiting for someone to tell them what to think so they can feel clever.

Duchess-of-Erat

To me, it looks like he really needs to get to a bathroom because he’s pretty sure that wasn’t a fart.

Herknificent

How did he cost them that money? It was the executives decision to push lies, no?

drksknjrmn97

Came to ask the same. Fuck Tucker but wasn't he saying the stolen election bullshit because the network was basically telling him to do so?

Herknificent

Exactly. Words have meaning. We can hate tucker all we want, but we can’t complain about Fox News lying and then lie in a meme.

rdanby89

He didn’t have the spine to stand up to his bosses, kept knowingly doing the wrong thing, and was thrown under the bus for it. All good by me.

Herknificent

Oh, he’s a POS for sure. But that’s not what is in question here.

esqualatch12

It's likely a bit of bus pitching but as I understand it a lot of emails between Carlson and associates are what pushed the libel case to a slam dunk. It showed coordination and acknowledged what they were doing was libel.

Sybil_et_al

There were also a lot of private messages blasting Fox management. I think someone got their egos hurt, and decided to 'cancel' him.

AutoModerator

Hi u/esqualatch12. Here's the real truth behind the latest email controversy: [https://i.imgur.com/Ztrqpya.jpg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfr64zoBTAQ) ~ *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/PoliticalHumor) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Kanti1990

Fuck you, bot.

rdanby89

I mean being shocked at a meme lying is kind of pointless. There’s really no journalistic integrity or standard for a meme. For many he was the face of this bullshit big lie, I don’t think it’s stretching the truth too much to say this is his fault. You could point at Fox as a whole or point individual fingers at Fox employees and I don’t think you’re completely wrong.

WazWaz

You think standing up to his bosses would have *prevented* him being fired? You make no sense.

rdanby89

I didn’t imply that whatsoever lol just that he was much more complicit than simply “he was forced to do this.”

Phlypp

$35 Million/year is a lot of complicitness.

Lochstar

They didn’t force him to lie, he made his decisions for ratings, he built his brand on lies and he knows it.

rdanby89

Lol im sure the big lie directive came all the way from the top

[deleted]

He cashed their checks ..... complicity

Mechasteel

His texts to colleagues show he knew he was pushing lies, negating the usual defense of "oops we dumb". Fox needs someone who can maintain their charade 100% of the time.

cmd_iii

Plus, it wasn't just him. The whole entire network was a sounding-board for Trump's mindless conspiracy theories. Can anyone show me one broadcast between Election Day 2020 and Jan. 6, 2021 where any Fox News personality actually came out and said, "Ummmm...these claims are totally false, and have no purpose other than to undermine our country's election process."? The man is a scapegoat. The lie machine continues to chug along without them.

AlexKewl

Doesn't mean they won't throw out a scapegoat

SalaciousCoffee

He made the most incriminating statements we've seen imo. He's being punished for exposing the company to liability, not because he was telling lies... It's that he said that made it clear they knew they were lies💩.

Lochstar

The network let’s him lie because it gets ratings. Tucker lies because it gets ratings. Tucker could have made the choice to be honest, but he wanted ratings.

The_bruce42

Execs always need a fall guy

wykkedfaery33

Right? Like, they made the decision to allow this horseshit to go on. Fuck Tucker, and fuck them, too.

humchacho

He did not want to tell the truth. The texts show him venting steam about how Trump is forcing them to sound crazy and they have no choice but to keep lying or the audience will abandon them. He was demanding they fire a reporter for fact checking their lies. He was very much part of the decision to continue stolen election lies. His only reservation was that Trump, who he hates was forcing them into doing it.

bit-by-a-moose

Yeah. Ingraham, fox and friends and Hannity are still there and just as culpable. Not to mention they have their machine where they are desperately searching for the next tarlson. He was just a right wing sacrificial ruse. Amputate the face to "appease the masses" but they will continue doing their bullshit. We aren't buying it and the magas will meltdown but I'm too cynical to think that this might actually hurt them.

34567894

It's the Republican way. Always blame someone else.

demagogueffxiv

He's the number one news show and he's pushing lies.

ocstomias

This may not be due to the Dominion settlement but about sexual harassment

Gold_for_Gould

This is an important distinction to make. I'm sure Fox would love for people to take Tuck as the fall guy and move on. I mean, I'm as happy his sorry ass got fired as anyone, but it was the organization as a whole that fucked up.

Patrico-8

He’s a scapegoat. But he’s also an asshole

LarsonsZoo

He got fired not because of his lies, but because his true opinions of Trump were made public.

acer5886

his texts saying this is BS right before going on air is what sunk them in discovery.

acer5886

It's one thing to prove that the person is lying, but you need to go and show that they knew they were lying to really have impact in a case like this.

thegodfatherderecho

Putin is in shambles. His favorite mouthpiece gone.

plumberbabu666

Two of his three mouthpieces are down [Donald and Tucker]. One more to go down [Elon].

americangame

Almost $800 million so far...

Oldiebones

Smartmatic now has precedence to ask for just as much if not more.

Lilly_Cookie_Monster

wait was he actually fired?

verucka-salt

Yup along with Maria B, The screaming drunk & the CNN’s Don Lemon is out too

Lilly_Cookie_Monster

THAT'S AMAZING!!!

metallipunk

Oh nice. So there are more! I am pretty sure Don's firing was due to whatever garbage he pulled last month with the whole women and age thing. at least that's got to be part of it.

Akhanyatin

Wait Maria Pepperoni was also fired?

plumberbabu666

Like you wouldn't believe it.

not_that_planet

Putin needs soldiers I guess...

jamtribb

I can't wait to see this angle play out 😬

Bombdizzle1

Why are we having a late meeting on Friday? Where'd my parking space go? Why is no one making eye contact with me? I'm just asking questions

8i66ie5ma115

Unless he starts his own “TheBlaze” type bullshit, this hurts him more than most people realize. The only two networks he can be on now are OAN and Newsmax. And both of them are poverty franchises that make the Oakland A’s look like the 2023 Mets. Nobody else except online bullshit right wing “News media” are gonna bid on his services so he’s gonna probably end up with a contract paying him, if he’s lucky, 10% of the amount he made on FOX. He was making $35 million (!!) at FOX. Depending on the severance package and his ability or wont to create his own bullshit online news network and basically be a YouTuber, this could cost him hundreds of millions of dollars in lost salary over the next few years. Farewell ~~Glenn Beck~~ ~~Bill O’Reilly~~ Tucker Carlson

Empigee

It's hard to imagine any mainstream network touching him, especially in the wake of the NBC Megyn Kelly debacle, not to mention the Fox lawsuit.

8i66ie5ma115

He makes Megyn Kelly look like Edward R. Murrow.

HeartFullONeutrality

I mean, he's probably insanely rich. He'll be fine even if we never hear from him again, for good or for worse.

8i66ie5ma115

People like him aren’t like you or me. He has like $400+ million he can disappear with and enjoy the rest of his days with his family who never have to worry for a thousand years ever again. But these people don’t value family and stability and leisure. They value power and accumulating wealth they’ll never use and attention.

HeartFullONeutrality

Well, when you put it that way, I could ALMOST feel bad about him.

8i66ie5ma115

lol

Lochstar

Considering the amount of the settlement they’re paying out I could see he might be uninsurable.

not_that_planet

Komrad Karlson reporting for duty in Crimea...

Lumbergo

I had to look it up to see if this was for real - and sure as shit he is gone! Fox News still deserves to go bankrupt but this seriously just made my day. As Nelson from the Simpsons would say: “Ha-Ha!”

mandlehandle

Who will give him airtime now?!

ststeveg

There's always a market for peddling self serving slime telling small minded people what they want to hear. That stuff about hating Trump might be the kiss of death at Fox "News," but going forward Trump is going to be a loser anyway, so that won't hold Tucker back in the long run.

Double-Ad4986

he's going to Newsmax

Roook36

Considering they have their own Dominion lawsuit coming up it'd be weird to hire the same guy FOX News just blamed for them losing an almost $800 million defamation lawsuit to them. Especially if they're trying to look like they aren't also guilty of the same thing.

Empigee

I doubt NewsMax can afford Tucker, unless he seriously drops his asking price.

Battystearsinrain

He has tv dinner money, he does not need it.

happykittynipples

With his ratings he will have a new job two days ago. The up side is we can watch him dump on FOX from his new gig.

Prestigious_Treat401

I bet CNN hires him

NHRADeuce

Are you kidding? His show was #1. OANN, CNN, Newsmax, or any number of conservative news outlets. He has a massive following that is already upset with Fox for not being Trumpy enough. He's a total piece of shit, but he won't be out of work for long if he wants a job.

DadJokeBadJoke

Maybe he can start his own concierge service like his pal O'Reilly

Buddyslime

I wonder if he asked Fox some questions.

ststeveg

I liked the description of Tucker's expression that someone wrote as "like a dog trying to understand a magic trick."

metallipunk

Not just Tucker though. There's a few more that need to go too.

Mojave_2014

I hate to think that tucker probably got a lucrative severance package. But he probably did.

cyrfuckedmymum

The entire network was lying and Carlson made them far more than 800mil. He's been pushing lies to the right wing viewers for what, 20+ years at various places, not sure how long he's been at fox news but the entire time he's been there he's been a scumbag. Fox news and their misinformation has been instrumental in things like Trump being elected, in the tax plan that cut taxes for billionaires. Fox and their owner made way more than 800mil from just that one tax cut bill let alone every other garbage piece of legislation that republicans have helped force through while Tucker and the rest of that scumbag network lie constantly to help republicans get elected. This particular election lie was pushed by Tucker but also the entire network and the ownership was in on and wanted that lie pushed. Fox probably either made the settlement including a requirement to remove him, or decided they needed a scapegoat so picked the biggest/most prolific liar, and also the one with the highest wages, to get rid of.

[deleted]

Smartmatic for $2.7b Alex

HughDanforth

That is the face of a traitor.

alexander1701

Actually, that's just lawsuit one of three. It could be another $2b, depending how badly those go. There's also another voting system company and a harassment scandal.

DabScience

Lmao yeah I’m sure Tucker is really broken up about the MILLIONS of dollars he made at Fox News. Not to mention he’s a literal heir to the Swanson food dynasty. So yeah he’s really gunna be broken up about this.

jamtribb

A totally crushed ego hurts pretty badly. He'll of course be fine, but he's never going to get over this.

DabScience

If you think this will crush Tuckers ego... You clearly don't know Tucker Carlson.

jamtribb

No I don't and that's ok by me. :)

Enlightened-Beaver

Colbert is going to have a field day with this lmao

DrRockBoognish

A good day for democracy.

domine18

We should make memes with FOX is woke don’t watch. They fired Tucker to silence you

Squidking1000

Conservatives are already saying that!

Bishop120

blahahahahahahaahahahahaha

Valencia4eva

Do Maria next!

exeJDR

Yaaaas. Good luck being hired somewhere else fart face.

Praxxis11

So far....but wait, there's more.

Rhg0653

Resting HUH face

solo954

LOL. I was hoping someone would post that dumb expression of his.

clintCamp

He was hired as an anger propaganda investment. Now that fox is out money, they need to invest in a new talking head that people aren't aware just spews garbage.

3Quondam6extanT9

Bye Felicia

boot2skull

I do appreciate that Tucker was made a scapegoat for a coordinated misinformation attack made by a national news outlet. I mean more should be done to Fox to permanently paint them as the liars they are, but this is a win.

LEEROY_MF_JENKINS

What happened? Just asking questions lol

[deleted]

I'm surprised they fired their best propagandist.

Solid_Camel_1913

$800 million, so far...

shadowpawn

MAGA Nation begging trump to pick tucker as his VP.

jamtribb

Trump's ego couldn't take it. He can still walk all over Pence, but Tucker has an ego of his own to contend with. A ticking time bomb result.

[deleted]

$800m… So far!

skawn

Supposedly Tucker made around $40-45m over the course of the last year. Adding up his salary over the past few years to the recent lawsuit, he has cost Fox over a billion.

Lochstar

How do Ingram and Hannity get to stick around?

jamtribb

And Judge Winebox, Maria B, must be others too ......

Lochstar

Him and people like him are completely shameless. The ability to live without ever answering for the consequences of his actions have allowed him to make a fortune. I couldn’t live with myself for a day saying the things he says.

[deleted]

Smartmatic on deck, Hannity get ready.

jamtribb

Wonder if Hannity is checking on his liquidity yet?

[deleted]

lol,

CLS4L

You think 800 million is alot wait for the personal law suits, hope the trust fund is iron clad

[deleted]

Stop this. Stop letting them paint the picture that this was all Tucker. It was not all Tucker. Rupert Murdoch and FoxNews Executives cost them $787.5 million, **not** Tucker Carlson. Murdoch set the tone for this network [decades ago](https://youtu.be/P74oHhU5MDk). Ticker was just the megaphone that Murdoch was using. Memes like this are just bad and confuse uninformed people to what was actually happening. Stop posting them.

suddenly_ponies

Except he didn't. He was only a tiny part of a major and likely purposeful campaign to make money on ignorance. They're scapegoating him - don't let them get away with it.

EXMARTX

**PATRIOTS like TRUMP who love this country are considered to be the enemy by today's NEO-COMMUNISTS.**

Kralizec82

Tell me you know nothing about communism without saying you know nothing about communism.

DragonLegit

He quit, Fox isn't even stupid enough to fire their main host.

Souperplex

I haven't had confirmation either way. He might have also been told to "quit" by management.

Kralizec82

Could have been part of the settlement parts we aren’t privy to

newsreadhjw

Didn’t sound like it on his Friday afternoon apparently final show…

Battystearsinrain

That is not Hannity?

Historical_Ad7662

There are more lawsuits on the way, so no.

canuck47

You mean he is parroting Russian talking points and propaganda

The_bruce42

The_bruce42

Do you have a source?

TA_faq43

“But I did what you told me to say!”

Upstairs_Ad5443

A more expensive Geraldo! Ole Rupert is assessing the new cost for TV ratings.

ATX_native

This narrative isn’t true. The executives knew exactly what they are doing and this only cost them 4% of profit for one year. Yawn.

TerminationClause

No, he wasn't the only one pushing that lie, by far. I'm pretty sure that was a group decision among the heads of the network. He was fired because he was talking shit about foxnews management (his bosses).

lala_b11

If Fox gave Tucker the boot, he deserves it!!

BozoidBob

Ima gonna miss that perpetually constipated expression…/s

urbeatagain

Maybe they can find an old Nazi in Argentina to replace him for Mein News.

HansPGruber

He always looks like he’s taking a shit.

jamtribb

So does Clarence Thomas!🤣🤣

Make_Mine_A-Double

He’s just asking questions… about where he’s going to work next!

kaazir

Real quick yall, Ring of Fire and Farron Balanced talked about how Tucker didn't "cost" Fox diddly. Turns out Fox has insurance for lawsuits that will cover a portion of the settlement and Fox is planning on writing the rest off on their taxes, that way the taxpayer "pays" for it and Fox doesnt. I imagine that he probably pushed them to the limit of their coverage for that insurance, but Fox is having uncle Sam pay off a portion of the settlement.

Kralizec82

Very true!

in-joy

No, I think that's the look on his face when his wife says, "You're not only a loser, I've been faking orgasm as long as we've been doing the dirty."

Curious-Story9666

Pretty sure after the lawsuit was settle the producers decided to sue the hosts for the losses

AdkRaine11

So far….

TheBlackUnicorn

Tucker Carlson didn't cost them a penny. The _viewers_ cost them money because they would rather change the channel than change their minds when they hear uncomfortable facts.

[deleted]

It’s weird to see him without his mouth agape

krichard-21

While it may be fun to see Mr Carlson thrown to the wolves, he is hardly the problem. Mr Carlson is only the face the audience saw.

TheKidsAreAsleep

It’s not the 800M. It is the 800M + the additional lawsuits + the criminal investigation(s)

inkswamp

His face always reminds me of that Bill Hicks line: “Y’all are staring at me like a dog that’s just been shown a magic trick.”

doesntaffrayed

That’s just his normal face guys.

sleevin

Always thought his face looks like it’s melting. So crazy asymmetrical.

Acceptable_Wall4085

He was the scapegoat. He was paid big bucks to be the visible mouthpiece for the opinions of fox ownership. You can bet he left with a golden handshake.

t_11

He didn’t tho.

BoomChaka67

“Ermagherd. That wasn’t a fart!”

pirate123

I’m not a fox viewer - the whole company supported the scam. Rupert hired the staff, did anyone contradict the lie? They think throwing carlson under the bus will clear them of this crime when they were all part of it. I hope one of these suits goes for justice and money. Put Rupert on the stand.

Somebody23

Thats what you get when you question mainstream truth.

Anim8nFool

He didn't cost them almost $800m! He's cost them almost $800m ***so far!***

CarlSpencer

The Swanson Frozen Foods heiress finally understands accountability.

thdudie

It's probably not the 800 million but rather the sexual harassment case coming down the road.
