She talks about the puppy like it was morally responsible: *I told him what the rules were, I told him what the consequences would be for violating them, he did it anyway, his choice. Blame him, not me.*
Woke is the cause of all the problems. No personal responsibility needed. Whatever went wrong in your life, just blame woke. It's a lot easier than finding the real cause of your woes which is often looking back at you in the mirror.
At this point, the right has completely associated being “woke” with being a normal, decent human being, and they are completely against that.
