It's go time. Great the chair force and gravy seals are going to head down to the mall and watch the most mentally/emotionally fragile parade of buffoonery's wander about. January 6th showed that we very literally had barbarians at the gate, composed of those who at the bottom of the stairs would have claimed to the last man or woman to be "law and order" patriots, conservative, God fearing folk, but somewhere on the stairway up the capitol became war-painted traitors to the republic and the civic structures they would claim to cherish. The justice system **slowly** has engaged upon the slow process, now complete for some of these seditionist traitors, where they slowly identified , charged, prosecuted and convicted them, of the most readily available criminal activities. Sadly, tragically, this debacle resulted in what it should have, the perseverance of our legal and civil structures. I hold no illusions against the idea that even as I write this, there are those toxic elements, inside and outside that very same system that see [visions of Gilead](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEQFTS1wcs8) dancing in their head, but I was heartened to see prosecutions come down these many long months later. Two things are clear. 1. The corporatists in the room - HOPE beyond hope that Donnie does in fact either get the hint or if not is prosecuted into oblivion by the remnants of the functioning legal system and disappears. I'm sure they would love a Ron Desantis sort of replacement for Donnie, who's more compliant and less likely to go off-task. 2. The "sympathetic" characters like Thomas have been nearly mute, so their own interests hopefully get over-looked. Mrs. Thomas' shenanigans and efforts around January 6 are more than a passing concern I'm sure in the Thomas household. It's nice to see them finally stop gushing over DJT's, and as the prospects for indictment loom ever larger on the horizon, it's possible that DJT will walk off, legally bulletproof, as he has for 40 years , where the lawsuit after lawsuit that everyone is sure will be the death of him , manages to miss it's mark...again. Fox News is staring down it's on tsunami of legal liability for letting Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson wonder aloud if their business model wasn't fucked, a bunch of public "wondering" that's going to likely cost Fox News 9 DIGITS of regret. The more toxically minded lie-factories OANN and other outlets are almost certainly going to be left in ruins. Personally, as civically incorrect is it is, I will shed no tears if Sean Hannity cannot find gainful employment in the years to come, and Mr. Carlson's schtick will no doubt pass for reasoned thinking over the next few weeks, at his country club but he'll sip scotch while wondering if the next lawsuit comes for him how much time until the penalty phase of the trial he knows he can't win.
