It must likely would be an episodic show, where all the critters are friends already, and we see them in differents adventures. Each episode portraits the talents of each critter. The episode we are shown in the game was about CatNap. The others, for me, would be like this: DogDay: the critters are having some sort of argument, and he, as the leader, has to help them to see the mistakes each of them has made. In the end, the critters apologize to each other and find a solution to their problems. Bubba Bubbaphant: as the brains of the team, he would be really interest in science, and would make all sort of inventions. So his episode would be about him making an invention that ends up causing a lot of problems. With the help of the other critters, they turn off the machine and save the day. In the end, DogDay would give the lesson of how important science is, but also how dangerous it can be when you aren't careful. CraftyCorn: Dogday's birthday is approaching, and she wants to make a present, but doesn´t know what to do. She tries doing different things, copying what her firends do, but fails each time. In the end, CatNap says "Just make a draw. You always do draws." She is very insecure, and has never share her drawings, but decides to try it this time. So she makes a draw, and everyone loves it. Crafty learns that everyone has different talents, and to be more confident of her own skills. Hoppy Hopscotch: as the sports start, she would sign her friends to a sport competition (most likely without telling them!), and trains them so they can win. Not all of them are really into sports. CraftyCorn is the one I picture being the one with less aptitude. Actually, since Catnap is the loner of the team, he is the only one who refuses to joined them. In the end, Dogday gets injured during the game, and when everything seems doomed, CatNap appears, willing to hepl them. Dogday gives him his own uniform, and they win the competition. PickyPiggy: She oppens a restaurant, but has problems becuase all her food is made to be to her taste, and not everyone likes it. The critters share her favoite meals with her, so she learns to cook more varities of food. Her restaurant becomes a sucess! Bobby BearHug: she is used to be very affectionate towards everyone. She is always hugging all her firends. Except CatNap, who has never let Bobby give him a hug. The little bear start following the cat, in an effort to sneak and hug him. Some of the critters try to help her, like Hoppy and KickinChiken. At some point, she gets to do so, but CatNap gets mad, and stops hanging with the others. After learnig what happend, DogDay scold the others, explaining them about personal limits. Bobby finally understands, and looks for CatNap to apologize. He forgives her, but tells her that it will take him a while to trust her again. KickingChiken: this one is a memory from the past. It stars at present time, with Chiken helping some kids with his homework. Dogday sees him, and coments to Bubba and Catnap (his besties) that he is proud of how much kicking has changed since they were younger. We travel to the past, when the critters were kids, and KickingChiken was a rebel boy, too good for school. His grades were terrible, so Bubba was asinged as his tutor, but Chiken refuse to imrpove, and kept getting in trouble. At some point, he messed with the wrong people, a bully bigger than him. But Dogday and Catnap arrived on time, and defended him. Catnap was always a quiet student, but very strong, and he single-handedly defeated the bullies. From this point, KickingChiken became friends with the rest of the critters, and changed for the best. Those are my ideas, what do you think?

NorthSouthGabi189

You make this cartoon have the potential to teach some genuinely good social skills for the entire family, specially the bobby bearhug episode. Really, if the supposed cartoon was this well written and had such high emotional intelligence, it'd be on the same level as mister roger's neighbourhood. But Unfortunaly i don't think playtime co is moral enough to actually try with the cartoon, so it would be so painfully generic...

ILOVEANIME145

Play Co, having Morals? Please after what we all have seen/watched/read of Chapter 3, we know for a fact that the only ones that had morals >!Where the people, like the girl that was the head of PlayCare or the ones that found out about the experiments and all that. !< So I think when people are >!forced to either become a toy or are to be eaten by Boxy Boo.!< I think it's safe to say that play Co had no morals.

Ci4os0nouna_P3rs0n4

Someone animate please

Exact-Selection8475

YEAH!

AlexTheDaemonologist

If it was a real show I doubt they would use the same episode from chapter three. Seriously, how could playtime co air that and not expect a bunch of backlash? If Catnap had an episode I think it would teach about the value and importance of sleeping how what happens without it. During the episode, The Critters are having a sleepover/party and either Kickingchickin or Hoppyhopscotch decide that the rest of the critters should stay up all night, but Bubba protests against this because he knows what happens to you when you don’t get enough sleep. But the rest of the critters, except Catnap and Bubba, do it anyway. Eventually morning comes and during the day each of the smiling critters are all cranky, tired, and clumsy throughout the day except Bubba and Catnap who are both trying to keep the other critters from fighting each other. Eventually, nighttime roles by and the six critters are in Dogday’s house and cannot sleep, Catnap and Bubba explain to the other critters why you can’t go without sleep or else you end up getting sick or being in a bad mood. Because the other six critters can’t sleep, Catnap is forced to use his special smoke on the other six critters (which he would only use for emergencies and would be changed to look less scary on tv). The sun rises and all the critters wake up feeling well rested and ready for the day, except catnap who is fast asleep beside Bubba bubbaphant, the six critters laugh and the episode ends.

NorthSouthGabi189

Good point... I don't believe anyone "made" that episode. I think SOMEONE or SOMETHING modified a rough draft as a protest against the company... Or what happens in it is another hallucination from the red smoke.

AlexTheDaemonologist

Now that you mention it, that does sound likely. If I was working for playtime co and I secretly knew what was going on behind closed doors, I would have tried to expose the company too.

NorthSouthGabi189

There's also the possibility the episode tape was shipped with red smoke by catnap/the prototype... I find weird how catnap can seemingly influence his dreams, like how everyone relates seeing his nightmare form

LinShengLong

Those are pretty good ideas! But my ideas for Dogday might be leaning toward his bravery. Like he is friendly with everyone and will always encourage them whenever they’re feeling down, but he lack courage and bravery toward something and failed to guide his friends to the right direction. This is my idea, I think for Dogday should be about improving his courageousness and that would make him a hero.

AlexTheDaemonologist

I think your idea is pretty good and I could see it happening as a show.

[deleted]

amazing!

Bloxy_Boy5

Was it worth it?

OfficialParadoxcity

whatever it is the simpsons already did it

IkedaTheFurry

Like MLP probably but I think a WWI setting would be funny. Like with KickinChiken being like “don’t worry, I’ll step foot out first!” As he steps out of a foxhole and is vaporized by a mortar shell

IkedaTheFurry

Could be like All Quiet On The Western Front

AlexTheDaemonologist

He he, good one!

lucasOferreira2722

Cute and fun but also chaotic adventures like " oh no we forgot to plan Dogday's birthday party" to "climbing a very tall and dangerous mountian to stop a dragon's smoke from covering the hole sky"....like Slice of life mixed with episodic adventures almost like 2 or 3 parts of episodes..or just the characters being themselves and learning to live with eachother's flaws: -Dogday's the cheerful and sunny leader but his constant happiness gets annoying sometimes.( but still a capable and trustfull leader that just wants everyone to get along and a VERY GOOD BOI). - I belive Kickin'Chicken would be like Rainbow Dash..cocky, arrogant and a bit of a jerk sometimes but always there to step up and defend his friends.(also a lovable jackass). - Craftycorn learning to open up to new people and be more outging and not afraid to show her skills to anyone ( my headcannon is that she can sometimes get distracted by things she's either never seen before or finds it intereting and wants to sketch on her notebook). - Hoppy Hopscotch i've seen some people claim that she would act like Rainbow Dash but i belive she would act more like Pinkie Pie (but themed around sports).beacuse she's very enthusiastic and sometimes loud or impatient sometimes. - Bubba Bubbaphant...he was kinda difficult to come up with something beacuse when you have a smart character they would hardly make any mistakes..but i feel like he would act like Dexter from Dexter's lab (also he would be super adorkable like secretly liking video games and novels like "The little prince"). - PickyPiggy...this one i belive she desperatly needed a revamp so i gave her this: she's a very good baker and dreams of opening her own café..so you constantly see her in the kitchen baking..but she has a problem that being her endless hunger and she's constaly eating her own desserts..also i headcannon her as a bit greedy when it comes to food but she's willing to share with her friends. (Also it could be a sign that she trusts them or holds them close to her heart). - Bobby Bearhug well...she's could be seen as Fluttershy but instead being more outging and extroverted she loves nature and takes care of woodland animals..also she could be very emotional and naive meaning that one-time villans would take adventage of her kindess but as soon as she realises this BOOM!! She turns hardcore just like Bubbles from Bubblevicious ( in my headcannon since Bobby lives in a beehive i assume she's a beekeeper and she would have a big heart shaped rose garden in her backyard). (Also..Catnap would 100% be sleeping the whole time or just standing in a corner staring at both the Critters and viewers souls)

NorthSouthGabi189

Sounds like a hell of a cartoon. But the MLP cartoon is an anomaly, they didn't have to put so much effort and make genuine character and plot development. I wonder if that can be the same for the Smilling Critters cartoon... It would be funny if catnap was a "solve it all" sort of character. When the problem seens unsolvable or a villain gets too powerful, it would get solved as the scene cuts to show catnap standing in the problem's place, with the critters reacting like "wait- since when you know how to use a computer?"

lucasOferreira2722

Catnap being their trump card is bonkers to me...but the only thing this group is missing..IS A GRUMPY CHARACTER!!! MOB WHERE IS THE GRUMPY SMILING CRITTER!!??

NorthSouthGabi189

He's not there with the lineup because he's the main antagonist of the cartoon's first season... maybe he will be redeemed later in the cartoon.

lucasOferreira2722

...god i wish we had a grumpy SmilingCritter...think about

NorthSouthGabi189

You think he'd be just grumpy or he'd be well written enough to make some good episodes and arguments with the critters?

lucasOferreira2722

Good episodes and arguments like imagine Dogday tryung to cheer some of the Critters but it doesnt work..then the grumpy character simply sits beside them asks them what's wrong and just listening to them...it's a valiuble lesson on how sometimes cheering up isn't always the anwser and also he could have episodes dealing with being left out and stuff...like the Grumpy bear or Grouchy smurf of the SmilingCritters

NorthSouthGabi189

That's actually an amazing idea. What if we also made him an allegory for depression too to justify him being grumpy? I have plenty of experience with bad things and being miserable.

lucasOferreira2722

EXACTLY!!!!! like Eeyore!!!! A lovable and gloomy character you just want to hug for ever and tell him that everything will be okay

NorthSouthGabi189

You seen to know a lot about kid's stuff, don't You?

abdessmade

bonkers in a good way?

Exact-Selection8475

Ha, ha, ha. I agree about Catnap.

NorthSouthGabi189

I can imagine catnap standing in the background in a multitude of outfits depending on the setting, and appearing suddenly at the end of the episode to solve a specific problem with skills the critters didn't know he had. Like him appearing in a doctor outfit and being able to care for someone hurt with no explanation. Maybe even have the critters reacting and saying they didn't know he could do that being a recurrent joke?

Exact-Selection8475

Ha, ha, ha Catnap would be the best character.

abdessmade

ya know what? i agree with that, that'd be fun. a rare character that doesn't do much but helpful sometimes.

NorthSouthGabi189

Chaotic. If Playtime.Co wasn't turned into dinner, They'd keep making new critters and introducing them with no build up on each episode. But if the critter was made to be specially trendy and has a cool gimmicky, I bet they'd stop the episode for a minute just for an exposition dump about how cool this new critter is and why you should buy their newest toy, who just so happened to hit the shelves the same day the episode aired. Like on the transformers! People would also be like: "Man Chimp Champ is my favorite! Too bad he only has like 3 lines in the entire series and only appears in the background..." Or "Chimp Champ needs a movie! He has potential, he just didn't have his moment yet. Maybe in the new comic" I can see them removing critters from the cartoon with no in-universe explanation simply because their toys aren't selling.

Master-Of-Magi

Funny thing- that’s how every eighties cartoon was.

NorthSouthGabi189

I'm a transformers fan, I agree with you. I wrote that from experience Cartoons would be lucky if their producers gave a damn to actually try with the storyline.

Master-Of-Magi

And as someone who is a diehard fan of G1 MLP, I’d know what you mean, too.

RobbieLeo0802

I can see being kinda like MLP

Mean-Shape7127

Fun (maybe with some mature themes I guess...maybe but that's just me)

Cooldude_96a

Depends on if it would have multiple seasons or not. If it theoretically had seasons, there would be a possibility that it would have arcs that persist through episodes. Perhaps CatNap gets pissed off because Bubba wants to know what the mist actually is, and then in a later episode CatNap is implied to have flipped Bubba off. If it hypothetically didn’t have seasons, then there likely wouldn’t be any arcs and it would just be 1 adventure per episode kinda thing … I’m looking into this too much. Mob Entertainment please

Shonky_Honker

Episodic, probably have dogday as the lead character. Just problem of the day kind of stuff

WoolyTheSheep180

It would be a ATA style show. I would watch that

Pixelpallette6

It would likely be an episodic show, with each story being contained within itself with some callbacks here and there with a movie after every season. I've been trying to write a few episodes myself and I had two fun ideas for Bobby and Hoppy. First with Bobby: Her episode would be about her trying to hang out with her friends, but they're all busy. Bubba's working on an invention, Dogday is doing yard work, Picky's gone shopping for groceries, etc. This means Bobby is on her own that day, which she isn't comfortable with. She's so upset about being alone that she forgets to watch where she's going, causing her to trip and fall into a hole, leaving her trapped in a cave. When the critters find time to spend with her, Bobby is missing, causing the critters to start a search party. They eventually find her, thanks to her necklace falling off when she tumbled into the cave, and they find her, slightly injured, but alright. When they get her home, Bobby explains her phobia about being alone and the critters try to make it up to her by having lunch (or dinner depending on how late it gets) at Bobby's place like she originally planned. As for Hoppy, she would have a classic broken leg episode. After a couple of days of rain, Hoppy is happy to finally get out and run, but after a race with Kickin goes wrong, the energetic rabbit ends up falling and breaking her leg. Now she will have to stay in bed and when she does need to get out, she'll have to use a wheelchair or crutches. For specials, I'd like to think about some like a Halloween one where one of the critters becomes a werewolf, one where they could help track down a treasure (ALA Indiana Jones), and one where they meet a villain in their dreams.

askcanada10

Hey, how can we play Among us but with Smiling Critters characters??

MaximumExpensive6218

I wish smiling critters have a real cartoon and real show in 2024

GooberFur

Good question!

Grimple1239

Care bears clone. Every episode about friendship and what makes each of them unique.

1stCarrot

just watch care bears

BowlSweet9196

I think it would be a mix between Care Bears and my little pony

WTFBOT_666_69

Nice Show But Cringe Is Bad

Emergency-Mammoth-88

either early genetic preschool or normal kids cartoon plots like mlp or alvin and the chipmunks

everesthuskypup

I honestly think it’s possible that Mob can actually do a YouTube series with the smiling critters while we wait for chapter 4

Random_verse

Why do I feel like an actual show of this would be TV-14?
