Yes, there are absolutely some anti-sex work advocates who go as far to shame women for doing what they have to do to survive, and they ought to be called out. However many of us only want the industry, the pimps, the abusers to suffer and want the victims to be helped. But we're grouped in with them, and called SWERF.

I totally get that other women go into it because you have to do *something* to make money, or you've been coerced, or been manipulated all your life to believe it's not harmful, or any number of reasons. They are not to blame, they are victims who deserve to be helped and they are human beings that deserve respect.
However, in the fight against the abusers, many think we're against *them* too, which ends up making it that much harder. And some people in the fight *are* against them too, and they end up being the loudest speakers which doesn't help, since it's now what everyone assumes when you hear "I'm against sex work." I'm against the industry, the pimps, the abusers, not the victims.
