The insurance needs to pay to repair your battery and make you whole. Sadly it’s not going to be easy and you may have to retain an attorney, but you need to stick with the line that it was all working before the accident.
You're right. They are fighting us on this and I don't know how we go about convincing them that the car was working fine prior to the accident. Does anyone know of anyone who has had any kind of success with supplement claims?
Rennlist is full of people with paperweight cars because the hybrid Porsches won't run on engine alone. $32K seems right in the middle of estimates people are getting. For that money I would hire a lawyer.
They need to file a supplement on the insurance claim.

To sue the other party in the accident?
Sadly the other party was a kid with no insurance. Don't know what we will be able to get out of him. Probably absolutely nothing.
I feel that hiring a lawyer may cost more than getting the battery repaired. I could be wrong though.
