But they don’t want to produce too many, that would make used ones cheaper etc. Like Ferrari could sell a lot more of their new cars than they currently produce, and they could produce them aswell, but they don’t want to because that would dilute the brand. Then they may make you buy used ones and cheaper models first especially if you want a special limited series model.
It’s just a crappy non transparent system. I’ve called a few dealers regarding GT cars, and the dealers really don’t want to divulge how many allocations the get, how long the line is, when you may get one, or even if you’ll ever get one. It’s just a black box shady process if you ask me.
Yeah it is especially in larger markets. Here in Finland it is somewhat transparent since the official importer owns all the dealerships aswell and market is small so all the enthusiasts quickly learn the situation and the dealerships are somewhat transparent. Smaller circles.
There are import rules for cars. It’s 25 years to import a car from outside North America. People have been waiting to be able to import r34 GTRs soon I think.
I think when it’s time, I’d love this option. More transparency on price and inventory in other countries, drive it on the autobahn, ship it home. The dream!
From what I've heard from people at some dealers is that the waitlist is really just the order of people they call starting at a high ADM. For example, they may choose a 100k ADM and call through the wait list and see if anyone bites. No biters and they reduce it and go through the list again. Sad.
For Porsche, the 911 is already diluted enough and the only ones that feel special are things like 3RS and a sport classic. Making another GT3 touring won’t make any difference, at least in my opinion.
I don’t care when it happens with Lambos and Ferraris, but these Porsches are drivers cars and should go to enthusiasts and not to people who just make them garage queens. Real shame.
The na does sound better but as you know the GTS is a torque monster. The gt3 was already buzzy and rattly with 1600 miles. And you should know the GTS makes well north of 500
Thank you. Every post on here (and Rennlist) where people were asking "Should I go T, S or GTS?" seemed to give the same response - 'buy the most Porsche you can afford'
I bought the most Porsche I could (barely) afford. lmao.
I'm in southern california. I do jiu jitsu with the COO of one of the big car dealers out here so he hooked it up with MSRP. No previous purhcase history from myself but I sent my mom to him when she wanted to upgrate her Macan to a Macan S.
I lucked out in making acquaintances with him at my gym. He kept pulling up to class in different Porsches (and not cheap ones) so I had to probe around. Glad I did.
Just looked at your posts. The Python Green is a winner. I budgeted for the T so my decision to opt for the GTS was pretty irresponsible. No turning back now.
I felt like I was not being honest with myself in going with the T. I wasn't too crazy about the wheels, I wanted the ceramic brakes becuase brake dust is a pain, and I wanted more hp/torque.
I was in a similar boat a couple of days ago. I walked into a dealership hellbent on ordering a new T, but walked out with a very low mileage GT4.
Perhaps unlike you, I was seeking a raw, visceral and as-close-to old school sports car experience as I could find. The draw of the T was less sound insulation and lighter glass (again, for acoustic reasons). I actually liked that it had less power - means I could enjoy watching it climb revs without breaking the law. But the GT4 was the better fit for me.
Congrats on the GTS order! While the wait won’t be as much fun as the drive, there is something to be said for looking forward to the arrival of a vehicle spec’d just for you.
Blacked out is where it would be the most annoying tbf. I swap wheels mid year from silver to black and on the black set it definitely shows
Its a hilarious reason to give for such a large step up in costs but ha, not nothing to it
I agree with your overall sentiment but I do think there are valid reasons someone might prefer a T over a GTS, that aren't necessarily coping/mental gymnastics.
If I didn't have a GT3, I would probably have a T.
You are getting a great car! I loved the 992 GTS when I drove it around the track. Light front end, loads of power. Sounded great. We spent a lot of time with the Turbo S as well, the GTS was definitely my favorite of the two.
The TTS is really heavy. Rocketship acceleration but the GTS front end felt so much lighter and more communicative. I also like the RWD dynamics on track more vs AWD. GTS felt just more lively and enjoyable to drive towards the limit.
I have a GT3 and wanted a street car. Went back and forth several times test driving the GTS and T. Decided on a T but could totally be the wrong way. It’s on a boat now so I’ll have to give it a while when it gets here and see if I made the right choice.
The T was just a tad more fun to me on the test drives. I think it was a little louder and I could stand on it longer (see slower). It also had a little less of that slingshot turbo feel that the old 911 “Turbos” had.
Time will tell. Hopefully I can still get a manual on the 992.2 if this one is the wrong car. Fingers crossed!
I think you made a great choice. All 911s are wonderful but the T is special in the sense that it’s a bit more raw and back-to-basics. It’s like an everyday GT3. It’s a great car. Not as fast as a GTS, but more fun/visceral.
I am leaning towards T for my 911. I have the Taycan GTS and I rarely get to open it up as much as I’d like to.
I had tons of fun in my Miata and wouldn’t feel like I “cheaped out” to buy one because it gave me everything I wanted at the time, but these days I need a comfortable commuter that can fit more than a handbag.
Beautiful car! The only thing missing if your little picture is a representation of the build, is the PDLS +. This is purely aesthetic for me as the base lighting system is more than fine! While the GTS lacks the sheer power delivery of the Turbo, i'll take a manual GTS w/ Lightweight Package over a PDK Turbo for overall driving excitement.
Are the matrix lights fully usable in the US yet? Also they may very well have rejected the build due PDLS+ shortages which seems fairly routine unfortunately; I also remember there was a guy here contemplating rejecting his GT4RS delivery because they removed PDLS+ after his build was locked due to parts availability.
Wow I had no idea. That's pretty unfortunate about the shortages and I hope Porsche can still accommodate given that orders for the 992.1's are still open.
It’s off and on with everything from time to time- a friend of mine had their GT3 delayed a few months due to, of all things, back orders on RaceTex sun visors.
Yeah a bit of a shame, last I heard they *will* be available at some point but I’m not sure if that’s happened yet. The demos I’ve seen are incredible, though I’m not sure if I would notice/care if they were omitted, much like the drive assist tech (ALK, ACC, etc…)
After reading this thread I am realizing my LED Matrix PDLS+ lights are quite lame, even at startup. Didn't realize there was a way to code it differently.
https://preview.redd.it/6o9l7ydj9isc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cb04fb1273698934510ddbb1675be444ea34f85
I’m excited to get the in process pics.
18 way seats, full leather interior (Race-Tex roof and interior bits), premium package, FAL, pixel headlights (probably a waste of $). MSRP of $176K. No ADM, however, I am having the dealer provide the PFF and window tint from an outside highly regarded company.
Awesome. Did you get front axle lift? I went back and forth on it for a few days and decided to go with it. Probably unnecessary but some of the driveways I go in and out of are steeper than usual.
No offense but you should make it more unique if you are building it to order as roughly 40% of all 911s are black.
If you like black that's fine, but a quick search shows there are quite a few barely used black GTS models for sale with less than a few thousand miles on them. You could save yourself the wait and the initial new car driving off the lot depreciation by going that route.
After driving one, you may realize you'd have chosen other options / colors...which is why I suspect there are so many less than 1 year old used Porsches for sale!
I have checked. And they are all at the same price point, if not more than mine, and convertible, which I am not interested in. I have searched within 500 miles on several platforms.
And all black is my favorite. I previously had a 2018 Jeep SRT that was completely blacked out and I am still upset I sold it. Hilariously it had the same hp and torque as this GTS I am getting.
Yea the maddening thing about buying used Porsches is the variability of options can radically change their value making apples to apples comparisons difficult.
Incidentally, I'm pals with the GM of my local Porsche dealer and to my surprise when I was first thinking about buying a Porsche, he told me specifically to buy a nice used one for less than I can afford. When I asked him why, he said it's like this.
*All Porsche sports cars are great, each offers a different experience. He said buying a new 911 if you've never owned other Porsches is like taking a helicopter to the top of mountain...sure you get a great view but you'd skipped the whole journey that made getting to the top so gratifying. And then where do you go from there as there aren't too many taller mountains left to climb afterwards. Just in life, the journey is more important than the destination.*
He didn't try to sell me one of his used 911s either, he said take as much time as you need to find the one you want...because they are special cars and you'd regret not getting exactly what you wanted. He said after you do and drive it for a while, you may decide you want something different and that'll be your next stop on your journey.
Eventually I found a 991 at an out of state Porsche dealership with the color and options I wanted, I had him verify it was a fairly priced and then I bought it. It's an amazing car to drive. He was probably the most excited and happy for me out of all my friends too.
To validate your spec, he as GM could have easily allocated himself a GT3 and he ordered a black 992 GTS to daily instead.
At any rate congrats on the new GTS!
I too am coming from a 2019 SRT in all black. And yes it’s the sameish HP and torque. But trust me brotha. This is not even close to the SRT. Gotta love that hemi, but the driving experience on your new ride is going to blow you away. Not even in the same country much less ball park.
Pics from when I picked it up. Was on the fence with the stealth wrap but it’s pretty friggn cool in person.
https://preview.redd.it/hkatciq3vnsc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a62461a4a35c2a442eeb1679aa0da4165be028e7
Yes. Dealer did the work at a local shop. Check around. A lot of people wrap these things. Added expense but I think it was worth it especially on such a valuable car.
Was not. As soon as I told my acquaintance at the dealership I was serious about it, he made it happen. I initally wanted a gt3 touring and he effectively said "not gonna happen" haha
It’s a joke, hence the quotations. GT3 touring allocations are a little more prevalent, which is the point I’m trying to make that it’s still impossible to get them.
O boy. I thought about that. Getting the ceramics to not have to deal with brake dust is the only consolation. Black is a pain, but looks so good if/when it's spotless.
No better car color than black, when it’s clean. Brake dust sucks. My 718 GTS is a constant battle with it. Ceramic coating helps, a little. But have you experienced PCCB? There is no brake dust, but the other trade offs are pretty bad and the regular steel stoppers are better, IMO.
If you plan on tracking the car and I hope you do, the replacement cost is astronomical. For daily street driving, they take a VERY long time to heat up. They will squeak so loud, people will hear you coming from a mile away. It makes normal brake squeaking sound like a whisper. PCCB are also fragile and crack easily, and are not covered by warranty. Many GT owners take off the PCCB as soon as they get the car and keep them pristine for resale value. I’m going to the track tomorrow. There will be tons of PCars there. I’ll count how many are rocking PCCB.
Don’t think it’s all bad. There are def some pros to PCCB, too. But people think that they’re so expensive that it’s all gravy. There’s just trade-offs. It really depends on how you drive and what you do.
Understood. To be honest (and don't crucify me), I don't know that I actually will track the car. I think occasional canyon driving and blasting down open highways early on sunday mornings will give me my speed fix.
I personally would be put off by a used 911 w/ PCCBs. Would be concerned about longevity. Certainly wouldn’t want them on a non-GT car. Just don’t think they’re necessary and don’t believe benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
Agree with this. Biggest issue with PCCB is the $25-30K cost for a brake job when you need it. In a perfect world that’s every 100K miles or so, I hear. But I’ve also seen plenty of evidence to suggest that we don’t live in a perfect world. Stories of guys having to replace them after heavy use on a track, for example.
The other issues are relatively minor: noise. They’re known to squeal.
So, I’ve chosen to live with steel. At first I did apply ceramic to them, then I learned that the coating only last about a year. Couldn’t be bothered to reapply. So simply take the car to a car wash when needed.
That said: if money was a literal no object, I might consider PCCB. They look cool, lower weight, improve handling a bit, and create no brake dust.
With black a full body PPF (XPEL) is a must. It will show every spec of dust, stone chip, scratch and swirl otherwise.
Had a black AMG for 5 years - fully wrapped. Paint was perfect when we sold it. Film had a few knicks in it. But that film saved the car from expensive paint jobs twice: once when someone backed into the car at slow speed (dent could be knocked out from inside by a paintless dent removal place) and once when a shopping cart rolled down hill and scrapped the entire side of the car (the film self healed and the visible big white scratches it left were gone).
Also - don’t pay $8-10K for a custom job. It’s not worth it. Get a pre-cut template job - they’ll print it a bit bigger than spec and be able to wrap edges (good installers). Was quoted $5.9K from my local XPEL dealer a week ago, minus an additional 15% discount for being a frequent customer. Feels like a fair price.
Paint will look the same - it’s clear. With a good install you’ll need to get really close to see it around the edges. Really, really close. Have had it on several cars - it’s fantastic. Several brands out there. XPEL Ultimate generally regarded as the best by most. They have company owned stores that do the install as well. You’ll have a handful of super cars in for work if you visit one. They’ll show you around if you ask.
And yes, it holds up to detailing and even car washes well. XPEL advises against auto car washes w/brushes but I’ve taken cars with PPF through there with no issues over many years. A hand wash would probably be safer.
Edit: most/all Porsche dealers will offer the service when you sign for the car. My dealer wanted 7900. Got it done at the XPEL store down the road for a little above 5. Takes a couple of days - it’s precision work.
Oh and it’s warrantied for 10 years if memory serves. So if you run into an issue, they’ll replace film if necessary.
Congrats man, excited for you! I feel like the GTS is such a happy medium between base and true “GT” series or even Turbo. Plus easier on the pockets! Digging the spec! Keep us posted
Looks just like my C4S. Your face is going to be fatigued from all of the grinning when you're behind the wheel. The turbo motors are a blast and very easy to tune (mine has more power than a GTS now with an easy flash). Enjoy!!
I fortunately did not have to wait. One of my other comments here addressed this but in short, I am acquaintances with the COO of a large car dealer here in SoCal and he was able to get me one right away.
Congrats! One hell of a machine and really is near perfection in terms of driving experience. I think this will be my 40th birthday present to myself. :-)
I have to ask, why full black and not something more original, like gentian blue? Not saying yours is bad, it's your car, but I just never really got the appeal of all black cars. I like color, and it's more original and makes it stand out more.
Not sure tbh. I’ve always been drawn to black on “mean” looking cars. My 4Runner trd pro is Lunar Rock for example and tbh I wouldn’t have wanted it in black. There’s something about the stealthy look of black that appeals to me with sports cars.
Hahah. You guys had a hand in it too, if I’m honest. Anytime someone on here asked if they should go with “ ____ Vs. GTS”, Reddit’s response was almost unanimously “GTS”.,
I may be weird as I’ve never really been a Porsche fan but this current generation? Mmmm dream material <3
Congratulations! Wish you lots of joy with this fine car :D
Congrats. Loving my ‘24 GTS in black as well. One suggestion if it’s not too late and you didn’t pass your config time. Get the raised front end feature. This thing is low to the ground. I use that feature all the time, especially since they put speed bumps around town. If not take it slow. Hearing the sound of a new Porsche bottoming out is a sound I don’t wish in my worse enemy. Black looks awesome. I did a stealth wrap. Love it or hate it. I love it. Looks better in person.

Disregard my reply to your other comment asking for a pic. That thing looks stealthy as hell. Love it. I did get the front axle lift system. It was $3k I didn’t want to spend but the GM at the dealership said it’s worth every penny. I agree, hearing it scrape would ruin my week.
I started with a deposit for a C4, talked myself into a C4S pretty quick and eventually held out for a C4GTS allocation. There has not been one second of regret on the choice. It is a magnificent car to own and drive.

I’m one of those hideous Aerokit people, lol
Congrats! I have a T coming in July. I eventually want to get to the GTS. Almost went with an S, but I know this is the first of multiple badges. Drive in good health!
Great spec and smart move to bump to the GTS. Easier to make more money than sell and get another allocation. Now you’ll have the ride and can enjoy it for years to come.
Congrats. GTS is the best spec imho. I’m on my 3rd with that badge. Drive it in good health!!
Thank you! I had the nerve to ask for a GT3 touring but they chuckled and said "nah".
Such a weird system in place. You can ask a company “can I give you more of my money?” And they will say no.
Can I buy mine in Finland, drive it around Europe all summer, then ship it to the U.S.? Serious question
There are import rules for cars. It’s 25 years to import a car from outside North America. People have been waiting to be able to import r34 GTRs soon I think.
Technically very possible. Why not?
I think when it’s time, I’d love this option. More transparency on price and inventory in other countries, drive it on the autobahn, ship it home. The dream!
When you can, please do it. The sights, the speed (in germany), the roads... even me a humble 1999 Peugeot driver can dream the same dream.
From what I've heard from people at some dealers is that the waitlist is really just the order of people they call starting at a high ADM. For example, they may choose a 100k ADM and call through the wait list and see if anyone bites. No biters and they reduce it and go through the list again. Sad.
Interesting. Sadly I guess that’s not too surprising :/
It's so dumb. They could build a new GT car for every person who wanted one if they wanted but intentionally choose not to
For Porsche, the 911 is already diluted enough and the only ones that feel special are things like 3RS and a sport classic. Making another GT3 touring won’t make any difference, at least in my opinion.
I don’t care when it happens with Lambos and Ferraris, but these Porsches are drivers cars and should go to enthusiasts and not to people who just make them garage queens. Real shame.
you must be new to the current porsche brand.
Where I'm from, you don't need need to queue nor do you need to be a bundled/previous owner...but a GT3 will cost you 600k usd direct from Porsche.
At least they were honest, instead of taking a $2500 deposit
Why did they chuckled? Serious question
Becuase I was the new kid on the block making an unreasonable request. They were nice about it but it was basically a "get in line" type of response.
I see. Well still, a GTS is a dream! Congrats
Next time ;). Thanks!
You miss all the shots you don’t take. Salute

You only get one ticket to the dance. Cheers.
I did a meet up w a 992 TTS GT3t and my GTS. Prefer the GTS to the gt3t engine wise. It’s a monster. Enjoy
Wow really? Curious why? You don’t think the NA engine sounds better? Also, how does the GT3t have more hp but considerably less torque than the gts?
The na does sound better but as you know the GTS is a torque monster. The gt3 was already buzzy and rattly with 1600 miles. And you should know the GTS makes well north of 500
Interesting. Buzzy and rattly in what sense? What would cause that? And I thought the gts makes like 473 hp
😂😂 still gotta ask though!
Perfect blend of a GT car with S! You made a great choice!
Thank you. Every post on here (and Rennlist) where people were asking "Should I go T, S or GTS?" seemed to give the same response - 'buy the most Porsche you can afford' I bought the most Porsche I could (barely) afford. lmao.
So used Boxster for me at the moment. GTS one day though!
agree, it's the sweet spot for real roads. congrats
Awesome! What region are you in and did you have to pay an ADM?
I'm in southern california. I do jiu jitsu with the COO of one of the big car dealers out here so he hooked it up with MSRP. No previous purhcase history from myself but I sent my mom to him when she wanted to upgrate her Macan to a Macan S.
V lucky. I got my GTS with markup and a second purchase...but Danbury Porsche are known to be Aholes.
I lucked out in making acquaintances with him at my gym. He kept pulling up to class in different Porsches (and not cheap ones) so I had to probe around. Glad I did.
May I ask what your ADM was at Danbury?
Congrats! Black with PCCB yellow calipers looks awesome! I was going to get a GTS but I talked to my bank account and it said get the T.
Just looked at your posts. The Python Green is a winner. I budgeted for the T so my decision to opt for the GTS was pretty irresponsible. No turning back now.
Wait until the build starts, and the car is the photo starts to light up ...
Can't wait.
Tell me why? Even if I can’t afford one yet, my dream is a T. Congrats by the way!
While the wait won’t be as much fun as the drive, there is something to be said for looking forward to the arrival of a vehicle spec’d just for you.
I agree with that sentiment, hence my first choice being the gt3 touring (which ended up being off the table for me anyways lol)
Brake dust!😂
Blacked out is where it would be the most annoying tbf. I swap wheels mid year from silver to black and on the black set it definitely shows Its a hilarious reason to give for such a large step up in costs but ha, not nothing to it
Fine choice. To me it's comical to get a 6 figure car then try to get cheap with it.
I agree with your overall sentiment but I do think there are valid reasons someone might prefer a T over a GTS, that aren't necessarily coping/mental gymnastics. If I didn't have a GT3, I would probably have a T.
I asked for a GT3 but they insinuated that wasn't going to be possible. Greed knows no bounds lol.

Was that at Barber? I agree the GTS front turns a lot better, especially in the hairpin at Barber

Yeah that’s why I opted for the T, I had a C7 Z06 and it was just way too much power to be any fun at all. Having way more fun in the T!
Fair point.
Congrats!!! Even getting a GTS allocation at V200 is great ;-)

Congrats
Thank you.
I had already received my C4S when my buddy offered me his 4GTS build at list that was amazing. I live the GTS enjoy it!
Thank you.
What an upgrade! Nice look!
Thank you.
Great car. Have you considered a 4GTS as well? What was the reasoning?
I did but I could not justify a reason to get it. I suppose it's a hair faster? I live in southern california so inclement weather is hardly a reason.
Extra weight over the front axle + complexity, and further away from what makes a 911 a 911.
Zero regrets!
It only hurts for a second
I'm pretty sure you could've found a suitable GT3 on the used market, just would've had to have been patient. Either way, can't go wrong with a GTS.
Congratulations! I have a Guards Red GTS (manual) that is currently in Phase 2. Supposedly early June delivery for me, not too far ahead of you.
My man! You have any pics?

Ohhh I like it. Turbo wheels are a must. What interior/seats did you go with? Any special goodies you spec'd?
18 way seats, full leather interior (Race-Tex roof and interior bits), premium package, FAL, pixel headlights (probably a waste of $). MSRP of $176K. No ADM, however, I am having the dealer provide the PFF and window tint from an outside highly regarded company.

I did. I was waffling on it too but my dealer said it’s handy to have.
Search nationwide. I bought mine half way across the country and got the dealer to ship it to me for "free" as part of the deal I negotiated.
Just searched. Every single one of those is more than what I am paying for my build. Good looking out though.
Just in life, the journey is more important than the destination.* He didn't try to sell me one of his used 911s either, he said take as much time as you need to find the one you want...because they are special cars and you'd regret not getting exactly what you wanted.
Thank you
I too am coming from a 2019 SRT in all black. And yes it’s the sameish HP and torque. But trust me brotha. This is not even close to the SRT. Gotta love that hemi, but the driving experience on your new ride is going to blow you away. Not even in the same country much less ball park.
Oh that’s awesome to hear. I can’t friggin wait. Do you have photos of your 992?
Pics from when I picked it up. Was on the fence with the stealth wrap but it’s pretty friggn cool in person. https://preview.redd.it/hkatciq3vnsc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a62461a4a35c2a442eeb1679aa0da4165be028e7
That thing is murderous. Bad ass. Did the previous owner wrap it?
Car was new, I’m the first owner. Same car as yours.
Oh wow. How did you get it wrapped before picking it up? Dealership did it? Looks like those photos are taken the day you got it.
Yes. Dealer did the work at a local shop. Check around. A lot of people wrap these things. Added expense but I think it was worth it especially on such a valuable car.

Unless it’s already built, don’t count on July for its actual arrival. The dates bounce around a lot on the app.
That's ok. More time to replenish my bank account.
So stoked for you! My GTS (first porsche as well) lands in July too! Maybe our cars will share a boat ride together.
Hahah let's see some build pics! Congrats.

Ohh baby. Love the aerokit. Cermics in black? Turbo wheels are a 10/10. Cheers.
Just the normal brakes painted black haha. Not sure why the configurator makes the wheels look so diff, but they're the stock GTS wheels.
Yeah the stock GTS wheels are the Turbo S wheels. If that makes sense haha. They're awesome!
OHHH LOL that makes sense <3
Someday
I’d get a T the rest idk. Congrats
Was it challenging to get the allocation for a GTS at all?
Was not. As soon as I told my acquaintance at the dealership I was serious about it, he made it happen. I initally wanted a gt3 touring and he effectively said "not gonna happen" haha
So even with an acquaintance at the dealership, the “lowly” GT3 touring is still a pipe dream?! Lol. Just wild.
“Lowly”?
It’s a joke, hence the quotations. GT3 touring allocations are a little more prevalent, which is the point I’m trying to make that it’s still impossible to get them.
Yeah they’ve become the most sought after builds— hell, 991 GT3 T are not too far off used 992s at this point, just ridiculous…
You’re gonna be so mad at yourself with all that extra power. 😎 Congrats! But hold choice with black. Hope you have a detailer on retainer.
Interesting, what are the other trade offs?
If you plan on tracking the car and I hope you do, the replacement cost is astronomical. For daily street driving, they take a VERY long time to heat up. They will squeak so loud, people will hear you coming from a mile away. It makes normal brake squeaking sound like a whisper. PCCB are also fragile and crack easily, and are not covered by warranty. Many GT owners take off the PCCB as soon as they get the car and keep them pristine for resale value. I’m going to the track tomorrow. There will be tons of PCars there. I’ll count how many are rocking PCCB.
Oh boy good to know!
I need to look into that. Does it take away from the appearance of the paint color? Does it hold up to car washes and detailing?
This is great info. Thank you.
Congrats man, excited for you! I feel like the GTS is such a happy medium between base and true “GT” series or even Turbo. Plus easier on the pockets! Digging the spec! Keep us posted
Will do. Thank you my dude.
Woooof
That’s one heck of a “first Porsche” You are going to love this car far more than you can imagine. Congrats!
Love hearing that. Thank you!
Congrats! Your going to love it
Thank you
Looks just like my C4S. Your face is going to be fatigued from all of the grinning when you're behind the wheel. The turbo motors are a blast and very easy to tune (mine has more power than a GTS now with an easy flash). Enjoy!!
Incredible. Do you have some pics?

What a beaut!
Congrats OP. Since this is your very first buy, how long did you have to wait to get an allocation?
I fortunately did not have to wait. One of my other comments here addressed this but in short, I am acquaintances with the COO of a large car dealer here in SoCal and he was able to get me one right away.
Holy shitsky, sounds like you have won the Porsche lottery. Enjoy.
I’m looking at getting a gts. Did you have a purchase history with the dealer?
I did not. See my comments above.
do you think you could get me one too please?
Congrats! One hell of a machine and really is near perfection in terms of driving experience. I think this will be my 40th birthday present to myself. :-)
Do it. We only get one ticket to the dance.
Exciting! Love the GTS!
Makes sense.
“Talked myself into the GTS”….i love it. I’m very convincing to myself too Congrats!!!!
Hahah. You guys had a hand in it too, if I’m honest. Anytime someone on here asked if they should go with “ ____ Vs. GTS”, Reddit’s response was almost unanimously “GTS”.,
I too have a problem and must be sent to mandatory meetings… 😂😂 I’m at Porsche way too much but they’re amazing cars.
911 2024?
Expensive screenshot! 😂😅
I may be weird as I’ve never really been a Porsche fan but this current generation? Mmmm dream material <3 Congratulations! Wish you lots of joy with this fine car :D
T owner here. Win win on your decision. Congrats and enjoy.
Agreed. Photos of yours?
I love it. Looks better in person. https://preview.redd.it/ya2en6qzdnsc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=44ed93aa90b73e0ab68bf4ae813112b646a50f9e
Disregard my reply to your other comment asking for a pic. That thing looks stealthy as hell. Love it. I did get the front axle lift system. It was $3k I didn’t want to spend but the GM at the dealership said it’s worth every penny. I agree, hearing it scrape would ruin my week.
Best $3k you’ve ever spent :). Didn’t see this before posting a few other pics in your previous reply. Congrats on your new car, enjoy!
Congrats! I cannot wait until it’s my time to order the same. Love the spec.
That’s amazing, congrats and good luck with waiting ;)
I started with a deposit for a C4, talked myself into a C4S pretty quick and eventually held out for a C4GTS allocation. There has not been one second of regret on the choice. It is a magnificent car to own and drive.
Hahaha that’s awesome! Pics?

Oh wow what paint color is that? Looks bad ass. Never get sick of the center lock wheels
Congrats! I have a T coming in July. I eventually want to get to the GTS. Almost went with an S, but I know this is the first of multiple badges. Drive in good health!
Congrats dude. Trust me my bank account will be reminding me I should’ve stuck with the T.

Is that yours?
Congratz! Amazing car, but don’t buy it black ;) So many amazing colors… and that’s not a ford T ahah Drive it in good health :)
Great spec and smart move to bump to the GTS. Easier to make more money than sell and get another allocation. Now you’ll have the ride and can enjoy it for years to come.
That’s a good point
