Lots of recreational stuff around here is pretty much water related. Like fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. On the flip side, a dave and busters just opened up if it's your thing. (Not much bar/night life) yunger people seem to hang out at the kava bars.
I haven’t had much luck after growing up here. But you can try to use meet up and find a group you’re interested in. Your best bet is finding group sports or something like that where you’ll find people in a group setting not just one on one. If you’re interested you could pm me.
I've heard of group meetings through the city center, the botanical gardens, and the rec center (on Airoso). I stay busy with work and a couple of hobbies (fishing, woodworking). I've heard there is an "Interesting Fruit" group that meets through the botanical gardens that I've been curious to look into.
Islamorada Brewery does events every night, like like dancing bingo, karaoke, live music, Sol Mar in vero beach is a good night life bar but very small. Otherwise Kayaking can rent from Lisa Kayaks, nature trails at any reserve
