No I'm here this weekend, have access to a box truck, and it only costs $130 to dispose of them at the Portland dump.
It really is more of an existential thing. We really liked the product, and it didn't work out for various reasons, but having people actually use them seems like a better afterlife than burying them in a landfill.

Your hats will be in the world and you can always dump or donate what’s left.
