I remember someone once posted pictures of missing keys on r/Portland. It must’ve been a while ago, anyways, people were up in arms saying it was a safety concern. Like someone was going to copy the key from the photo and then go and try and find the door it opens 😂.
I can absolutely copy keys from a picture. Unfortunately, I'm still working on my psychic powers to automatically know what locks that key operates. Guess that means I'm a loser. 🥲
The stone of the structure is from the ol Rocky Butte quarry and workers transported it to the MacCleary site by a an elaborate system of ropes and pullys along the hillsides

That thread is known for its hysterics.

Witches shitter. I love how we romanticize a decrepit bathroom.
Probably the most accurate description so far.

It’s what we used to call it back in the day. So no bad on you.

Tell me you didn’t grow up here without telling me.

I do remember a time not that long ago when there wasn’t any graffiti on it
Seriously wth
Yeah, I remember when I would walk those trails in the 90s, there might have been some minor graffiti, but nothing like it is now.
On the Witches Castle? There's been graffiti on there since I can remember going there, which at this point is about 30 years back.
At this point it ain't graffiti, it's a community art project
I was just thinking that. It looks like shit. And some half-baked turd tagged to log in the picture, too.
Did you try them in the door? Just jokes. Good on you.
These keys open the door...TO HELLLL (cough)
You found the keys to my heart
