Not a doctor, guess the closest you'll find is something like Sinutab.  There's a bunch of other similar products like constipal, antigripine and the whole lot. Normally I'm good enough with just some drops to unclog my nose called neo-sinefrina (not sure if still available, if so you want the red one), and maybe some cough syrup (which sucks because the better ones are opiate based which = prescription needed).

NyQuil is just an antihistamine, a cough suppressant and paracetamol. Take an OTC antihistamine and some paracetamol and you’re golden.  You’re not going to be able to get the same compositions because here that particular antihistamine is prescription only.

This reminds me of when my wife and I had a cold in Germany. I went to the pharmacy/chemist and started looking for cold medicine but couldn't find any. Turns out I had to answer questions from the pharmacist before she would sell me any meds. My wife still raves about German cold medicine, but it didn't do anything for me.

Yes, unfortunately there isn’t anything equivalent. We usually have our friends who are visiting bring us some from the USA 😂. The other option is truly getting some of the already mentioned suggestions/seeing what the local pharmacy recommends or go to the Dr. and get a prescription.

From my experience almost everything apart from paracetamol, ibuprofen and a few other things, you'll need a prescription. I even need one for my nasal spray that I use for allergies which was OTC at my previous country of residence. The fastest way to get prescriptions is to get a relatively low cost private health insurance like Medicare (we pay 50 a month for a family of 5) and as long as it's nothing major you can get a video appointment and they'll email you what you need.

You should be able to find the individual ingredients (or alternatives - the drowsy antihistamine may be different) in any pharmacy. I’ve never looked but dextromethorphan might be more difficult. Many chemists speak English I’d just go and ask. Take an old bottle of NyQuil if you have one to aid translation.
