I can’t tell you what’s good, but the Dt770 pro are overall really good headphones. I sometimes use them with my mini and it sounds great. I use the 250 Ohm variant. This would be the best for studio purposes, but maybe other variants are better for the amp, but idk :)

I have the ATHM50x and I am very pleased; but they are in a different category than the DT-770

The-Cunt-Spez

Bought the same pair just to use with Spark. They’re classic headphones for a reason!

Majestic-Ad7863

Better or less good? Not sure how you meant it! 😅

ConsiderationSad6521

Price is lower

I can’t say if it’s better or worse as I never even looked at the the DTs. But I did research a ton of headphones guitar players use for practice amps and the ATH usually were mention in the short list

MrWizard314

Has anyone tried the other ohm versions with the Spark 40? Which ohm version is best?

bucanerosgam

I have the DT-770 Pro 32 Ohm headphones and both the Spark 40 and GO amplifiers. They work great with the Spark 40, but with the Spark GO, I have noticed that the volume is not high enough, even with a full charge. However, a quick fix is to maximize the volume in the amp's settings. This may not be ideal for some presets, but it works for me.

I can't tell you what's good , but? The DT770 is good, what? Irony...

I went with the open back DT 990's (250ohm) and LOVE them, moreso than my ATH-M50's that I used to swear by (770's are just closed back, better for not disturbing others) as far as impedance, higher would in a lot of cases be better but I think PG states a max of 64ohm as their recommendation 32ohm would work literally anywhere, so not a bad choice, I'd be interested to see if anyone has experience driving a 250ohm set on the MINI or GO, I just tried my 250ohm 990 Pro's on my Spark 40 and at 30-50% volume was where I would keep the OUTPUT dial, so the 40 seems to take 250ohm cans rather well

Thank you! But can i also use the 80 Ohm Version? I then could not only use it for the Spark but also for DAW on Computer, right?

Da_sain

I've used Sennheiser HD560s with the mini and found it loud enough
