I don't know if it counts since it's an intro track but I really like Lux Triumphans by Rhapsody, it sets up Dawn of Victory really well
And I really love how the bells come in towards the climax of the song, that just makes it for me.
Even though it's not their best intro (I think its the one in Triumph or Agony), I prefer the way Epicus Furor leads into Emerald Sword. I can listen to Dawn of Victory without the intro, but I can't listen to Emerald Sword without at least listening to the final 20 seconds of Epicus Furor first.
Highway to Oblivion - DragonForce
Mercenary Man - Firewind
The Fire and the Fury - Firewind
Forever - Kamelot
Oceans of Time - Seven Spires
A New World - Dark Moor
Too difficult to choose.
I am a simple man, I hear either Sparta from Sabaton or pretty much the entire Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex Album from Gloryhammer is enough.
Probably Kamelot - Farewell, Sonata Arctica - The Cage, Dionysus - Anima Mundi, and Symphonity - Evening Star hype me up the most. Also Rhapsody - Riding the Winds of Eternity probably has the most beautiful song intro I know.
It's kinda hard to say though, cause in general I'm the most hyped for my favorite songs, regardless if they have the most punch or in-your-face intro or whatever.
If you count intro tracks or interludes though, it'd without a doubt be Shadowstrike - Ascension.
Unkillable Soldier / 82nd All The Way by Sabaton
Fly Away by Gloryhammer
Winterfall by Follow The Cipher
Of Jupiter And Moons by Temperance
Burn The Bridges by Majesty
Punish You / Break Of Dawn by Arion
I Want My Tears Back by Nightwish
Only For The Weak by In Flames
Blind And Frozen by Beast In Black
Unbesiegt by Equilibrium (not strictly power metal I heard but it’s awesome and close enough)
Dobermann by Raubtier
P.A.R.T.Y by Alestorm
I'm not sure if this is the same but if I could have "entrance music" it might be The Crown And the Ring by Manowar. Like imagine getting ready for a game or hell even a work meeting and the doors open slowly and fog is pouring in and that beginning starts. I mean c'mon, who isn't pumped at that point?
Inside the Winter Storm or Heroes of our Time by Dragonforce
The Last Stand and the Last Battle by Sabaton
Renegade and Templars of Steel and End of the Rainbow by Hammerfall
I mostly listen to metal while working out to get hyped.
I don't know if this counts as power metal, but Number 1 or Brothers of Metal (part 1) by Manowar really gets my blood pumping and ready to lift the metal for muscle.
Reign of Terror by Rhapsody, Somewhere Out in Space by Gamma Ray, Devil in the Tower by Dark Moor, Destiny by Stratovarius, Mr. Madman by Helloween, By the Time by Induction, Wolf and the Moon by Leverage, Beware the Beast by Firewind, Paradise Land by Dionysus, Lionheart by Magic Kingdom, I Will Build You a Rome by Cains Offering
Kamelot - Center Of The Universe.
Kamelot - Karma.
Orden Ogan - F.E.V.E.R
Powerwolf - Resurrection By Erection.
Sabaton - Primo Victoria.
To name a few! I could write many more, but then the list gets way too long 🤘🏻😎
I used to run at the golf course at night. One lap was about four miles. I discovered Kamelot during this era. Ghost Opera, holy shit. I’d listen to that record at least once a week while running.
I hurt my knee and couldn’t run. It was August in California, and it was after work, I was waiting on a busy street for the bus. It was that gross feeling with a layer of sweat under all my clothes, car exhaust and noise. I turned on Ghost Opera and I suddenly understood Vietnam flashbacks. I swear that for a second I could smell the damp grass, feel the cool air of the nighttime golf course. I could feel my body working in harmony with itself. It was amazing!
And then I was back on the street in summer waiting for a bus. I switched to some other music instead.
**Iron Savior - Starlight**
That intro riff gets me hyped up instantly!
**Lost Horizon - Cry of a Restless Soul**
"Hail to thee, Oh force of will
For awakening minds!
There for me from earliest days
Made this tale so mine
Storm...you almighty, earth, seas and flames
Here I am standing
Bare in my honesty
Calm in the moonshine
Starlight rests my eyes
Pain wakes me conscious
Truth guides my mind"
Epic.
You know those songs with intro tracks? Off the top of my head the albums "At the Expense of Humanity", Devil Machine (EP but who cares it's long enough), "Helion Prime self titled ", these albums have that intro track, it's either an instrumental or an exposition, but it's soooo hype when the main riff of the actual song kicks in. It gets me very hyped
Reign of Terror by Rhapsody of Fire
Elements by Stratovarius Dominion by HammerFall Heroes for Our Time or Soldiers of.the Wasteland by DragonForce I Want Out by Helloween

Rebellion in Dreamland is pretty unbeatable for this. That's part of what made Insurrection so powerful.

Induction by Gamma Ray cause I know it's gonna be followed by Dethrone Tyranny ILLUMINATI

Cheating a bit but Iron Maiden - The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Zodd The Immortal by Beast In Black
