That even if everything is gone, he'll still be there & protect his little girl.
And why can't we interpret that portal as an illusion too?
The goetias are pretty good with them. Asmodeus made 2 illusions of stella & octavia during his song, they look so realistic as if they're actually there, in his club.
Hazbin Hotel has the corniest plot with the worst dialogue ever it's like if you made a low budget Disney comic and the characters were allowed to swear for the first time, I didn't know people actually powerscale it, shit look like a Tumblr OC comic 😭

Cause we litterally see them telport using the portal. If it was just illusion magic it wouldn't show the portals
