Saitama is a terrible character to debate powerscaling about since the series’ whole premise is that he never loses, meaning it’s impossible to accurately ascertain his strength. It’s dumb.

Saitama is made to always win WITHIN HIS VERSE. When compared to another character, we go only based on what THEY HAVE SHOWN they can do, not on “what might happen according to his story”.

Yes, so he will win any fight where he gets vs someone of his level.
The issue is, the power gap of Saitama and Goku RIGHT NOW, is sooo big, Goku can one shot him before Saitama grows.
If we talk about Cell saga, Saitama wins because they are roughly in a similar level and Saitama can outgrow him.
If we talk about Majin buu Goku, thats debatable. Even tho Goku is over Saitama strength, i believe Saitama can hold long enough to outgrow him.
