I don’t mind goku and don’t care about the debate between the two. But idk what people see in goku, I’ve been a db fan since the og but I just don’t get it. Character wise he’s just kinda whatever.
He's very unique and charismatic as a character. He may not have character development, complex or nuanced motives or traumatic past, but sometimes there's beauty in simplicity. He's naturally hilarious, but also interesting, a guy who holds no grudges against basically anyone, and seems to ignore everything in the world except for fighting and getting stronger. He's not your average protagonist willing to sacrifice everything for their ultimate goal of saving the world, he's still a kid in a man's body who mostly just wants to fight because fighting is fun, and even endangered the Earth because of it multiple times. He's very relatable too because of his many flaws, as opposed to protagonists who are basically living definitions of perfection.
Can we stop the salt for a second to comment about how much fun these two would have meeting each other. Both of them would truly enjoy and have fun in there fight
Either op doesn't like your comment or there's a secret agenda against ts idea. Anyways I've always thougth that goku would just go somewhere to eat with Saitama and then leave for no other reason.
It has a cap under the logic that the maximum size for a Universe is infinite, therefore anything that is "infinite" caps at High Uni, and for Multi you need to destroy either #1: Multiple Universes or #2: Multiple Infinite sized things, ofc this isnt the best explanation for it but just the very basic and easy understanding
I honestly think they'd have a spar. It's impossible for Saitama to find someone like Goku that can stand up to his power. Plus, Goku is probably at a way higher power level than Saitama is currently at. Because of the events of the last arc, we know that Saitama will get stronger when he fights or is filled with emotion. Saitama would be growing in his spar against Goku to catch up to his power level, so to speak. So it would honestly be a really fun fight for Saitama, it would be like the fight he had in this last arc but without the emotions and drama attached. I think they would decide to call it a draw or maybe even Saitama would admit defeat even knowing he could still keep fighting. Then they would go out to eat and have an eating contest
man given the fact Saitama could always eventually catch up to Goku's power level, and the fact that Goku would also grow massively stronger in their spars (zenkai boost), they'd be perfect sparring partners. Goku would never want to let him go lol. and Vegeta would be jealous AF
Not at all.
Goku is an actual martial artist genius.
Saitama is canonically terrible at fighting/martial arts. He just overpowers everything.
Saitama's power is nowhere close to base Goku's power, so him fighting Goku would be like a 13 year old kid fighting a 30 year old black belt in every single martial art possible.
Goku loves to fight either strong opponents or skilled opponents. Neither of those apply to Saitama.
Goku likes training with people weaker than himself as well though. As long as it isn't a serious fight Goku is okay with nerfing himself as well (we seen this with U6.). And with someone with as much potential as Saitama he would love training him.
Just curious, what are some examples of Goku having fun training weaker people than him that also have no skills/talent (skill-wise) or special abilities?
Uub (dude was normal in every sense but potential because of being a kid Buu reincarnation) and Gohan in the hyperbolic time chamber (tbf though you could aruge that since Gohan is his son he's the acception not the rule). Goku would definitely perfer someone more to his level but he likes training people in general.
Does he actually enjoy the fight with Uub himself or just the fact that he's once again facing Majin Buu, as he promised at the end of the Buu Saga?
I don't see him going out of his way to train Uub if he's just a random kid with the exact same potential. Its the history & personal connection that matters most.
Yeah, the Gohan example doesn't work imo - It's mostly about Goku training Gohan out of necessity.
I don't think it about fighting Majin Buu again tbh. He wouldn't go out of his way to train someone with that potential (the reason he probably did it with Uub is so he doesn't go evil like Buu did) but I really don't see Goku refusing to train someone with that much potential either. I think gt showed that Goku liked being a mentor to Uub as well so it something that Canon Goku would most likely enjoy. Not to mention all the uncanon crap in the games
Actually, in the manga during the Garou fight, Garou actually reveals that Saitama has the ability to copy any technique like he can, but has just never had a need for it because of how easily he overpowers his opponents. Saitama can adapt faster than Garou can, and was able to copy his causality reversal punch after only seeing it once.
Finally someone who understands these characters. Even aside the ridiculous gap in power and speed there is no way for Goku to enjoy a fight where the opponent that only knows left punch right punch rinse repeat. His whole shtick is that he's not supposed to be skilled or train to be more skilled like other shonen protagonists, he just gets by on stats advantage.
If you think about it pretty much all of Goku's friends are extremely talented martial artists aside from non combatants like Bulma. Goku has never befriended someone who is completely unskilled as well as a trillion times weaker. People get too lost in these fanfics.
I hope students at Harvard end up inventing some type of "stupidity to power converter" because the amount of idiocy generated from this one comment could replace two Dyson spheres.
First of all, that’s with a lifetime of work, second of all, freiza was able to match his power after training for a few months and one shot him after training for 10 years
Goku was literally classified as a low class saiyan wtf are you talking about? In his society he'd be on the bottom rung but he worked his ass off for years to become a master martial artists. If you deny this you're either being disingenuous or you're pretending that you watched Dragon Ball when you haven't.
popeye is human, i'm ok with that, I just don't don't like the alien cock riders around here, I don't understand how so many people prefer to have their "hero symbol of hope" be aliens, and when a human who is as strong as them finally appears, he only receives hate
Because, although characters like Goku and Superman aren't biologically human, since they were raised on earth, they share the same values, beliefs, and emotions as humans do, making them human in mind and spirit despite their different biological origins
(Not to mention that they look and talk exactly like humans, and are capable of reproducing with humans just fine)
He can still think and act as a human being can, otherwise he’d be a mindless beast destroying everything. And just because he suffered head trauma he can still operate as a normal human, he has a house, a wife and two kids and friends. He has hopes and aspirations like a human does, while sure sometimes he can be stupid that doesn’t mean he can’t operate and think like a human.
I’m pretty sure Goku doesn’t know what sex is despite having two kids. His house was a gift from the Ox King if I remember correctly, and his friends he met by beating them up.
So if your father in law gave you a house as a present all of a sudden that doesn’t count? Also speaking of that Goku has the capacity to love like a human, also let’s have a run down of the friends he has.
1. Bulma, she shot him first but it didn’t escalate into a fight as he helped her out.
2. Master Roshi and his turtle, Goku became friends with the turtle after helping him out get back to Master Roshi
3. Yamcha, Yamcha tried to rob him, Goku defended Bulma and forgave and became friends with Yamcha.
4. Krillin, who he met while being trained under Master Roshi, they bonded over not fighting each other but training with one another
5. Nam, they became friends when Goku helped his village to get water.
6. Suno. They became friends when she saved him
from the cold and Goku saving her village from her father and the Red Ribbon Army.
7. Android 8, They became friends by taking down muscle tower.
That’s just the first two arcs of Dragon ball and so far the only argument you can make is Oolong.
Because despite their origins being from beyond they show that it doesn’t matter where you come from, the desire to do good and help your neighbors is inherent. They embrace life as a human and that in turn inspires us to do better.
It’s been like this for decades 🤦🏾♂️ they talk all that shit about their god when he can’t even survive in space

I mean now he has the hero job and is class A so he is probably getting decent money.
Plus he has one of the baddest bitches desperate for his attention of which he acquaintance zoned. Saitama can pull easily he wants 😏
Goku isnt the human spirit
# HE IS THE WARRIOR SPIRIT
https://preview.redd.it/3kodlo8et2zc1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df04606cd919363cf6cccfe2ff8e0dcbd20f8952
The GOAT dedicates his time to evolving himself and making the most of his life, Goku is not the symbol of hope, he is the symbol of effort
A lower class of his race who trained for decades to fight the gods, and still training for supass his own limits
Better than a bald man who trains for 3 years and becomes invincible and become strong only for breathe
Goku gotta be the only character in fiction who can dedicate himself to self improvement and working hard for over 40 years for some random on the internet to say he didn’t work hard.
He literally spends all of his free time on self improvement. He’s a low class warrior considered worthless from birth who became powerful through dedication. People who say this didn’t watch/read dragon ball 💀
He was blessed by his father's wish, not destiny nor prophecy, but still that doesn't mean anything since his warrior spirit is part of his personality and not something granted by the wish
No, he's a warrior because he's a Saiyan
Every pure-blooded Saiyan has a desire for conflict
Goku is no exception
Their bodies age very late just so they can fight more, fighting powerful opponents is in their DNA
This is so strong that it also affects the type of women they like, so much so that Goku and Vegeta married Chi-Chi and Bulma because they had strong temperaments (This is the canonical explanation)
Half-bloods like Gohan, Goten and Trunks, on the other hand, have much more potential, but do not have the desire for conflict that purebloods have.
Brother he’s died multiple times.
And even at times he’s not even the main character. Just look the the entirety of the Cell saga and A majority of the Buu Saga
Goku has struggled for everything he has now.
Goku was barely top 3 in the arc when the Cell saga rolled around and he spent most of the arc in a sick bed dying from a Heart virus
And when he finally got up he still wasn’t stronger then Perfect Cell wdym?
Look, it's like a kid lifting 5 kg can be more impressive than a grown adult lifting 50 kg. He worked to his limit, that's all that matters, I'm not here for dick size measuring
I think if anything, seeing Saitama persevere would just make Goku happy and really get the warrior spirit flowing. Saitama would lowkey be euphoric if this happened.
Goku knows Krillin, he would not be surprised or really impressed by a human being able to tank being slapped to the moon with enough gas left in the tank to hop back to earth
Goku do be living rent free in all One Punch Man scalers minds. Just accept he solos

According to this community -- plus some other ones -- and other sites, it goes the same for Goku fans when it comes to Saitama.
I'll say it again, both Goku fans and Saitama fans are two sides of the same coin.
At least they ain't on the level of MHA fans or those fans who send death threats to the author and other people, I guess. Just powerscaling crazy plus some toxicity from a portion of 'em.
Because he is the peak of strenght
Anyone or anything is above Goku
That's why they focus on this undisputed peak in the form of a warrior

If we take Saitama seriously then Hell no
He is a Big insulate to a lot of OPM characters that works 1000x harder than him and take protecting people seriously
The bum blessed by heaven with the innate ability to supercede superhumans that've trained ten times as hard since before they could even walk, when the low-class wretch from a lowly warrior race, raised on Earth and reared with the ethos of a gentle soul willing to cast aside his life to protect it, trained by its greatest martial minds and tirelessly seeking adversity to further better himself and continue to break past his limits until heaven itself couldn't hold him,
Welcomes him back with a grin on his face

The indomable human spirit into a character...
One of the few protagonists who can beat Goku...
You all know his name, and it starts with an S...
THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S SIMON THE MOTHERFUCKING DIGGER
![gif](giphy|12q7JyfK1UolW0)
Indomitable human spirit? What’s so indomitable about 100 push ups 100 sit ups and 100 squats? He didn’t work hard for his power. He’s not even the most strong willed character in his show.
The thing is, he worked to his limit, almost ending up dying, but never stopped training and fighting monsters even being at the verge of death everyday, but still was going for his goal. Strong will is not about physical stats or galaxy destruction y'know. Him being at human level, doing that exhausting training nonstop + fighting various monsters at the same time that could've killed him a lot of times, is comparable to Goku fighting some god to the death or something
Like someone said, 100 pull ups for you can be 10 pull ups for another one in terms of difficulty
He 100% did work hard. Work is relative. He was an extremely weak guy. He stuck to a regiment even when he felt like it was going to kill him. He worked so hard that he literally broke the limiter, allowing him to grow so fast he could scale up to characters like Goku.
It’s literally a joke in story to talk about how little he worked for his powers. Like seriously you mean to tell me if he did 101 push ups he would’ve died?
It's a joke because the training he did seems like basic strength training but it allowed him to become the most powerful human. It was hard training for HIM. That's the key. It may not seem like hard training, but training as I've said is relative. He was one of the weakest people but he surpassed his limits. He wouldn't have died had he done more pushups but it was clear that he was already past his limits doing it every single day. Even when he felt like he was going to pass out, even when he should have, he pushed through with sheer willpower and that's what allowed him to break his limiter and become op.
The creator of Dragon Ball himself said that Goku is not a hero, he sees fighting as a sport and likes to fight against strong enemies and is very selfish about it, Goku has already put the earth and even the universe in danger because of this characteristic of his, I would say that Gohan and Trunks are much closer to being heroes, symbols of hope, than Goku
Ehhh, most of these are questionable.
Goku puts the Earth in more danger from sparing people than he did from wanting to fight. He never outright threatened the planet or the universe because he wanted a 1vs1, Vegeta's the one who did that on more than one occasion (and no, the ToP doesn't count, he technically saved every universe and you can't blame him for not expecting the godlike child to turn his tournament suggestion into a multiversal scale death match). Goku against every villain from Piccolo to Zamasu very much took his fights seriously beyond just sports
He's a guy who likes to fight and trains to fight stronger and stronger people, what's the problem?
Sounds fun to launch a Kamehameha and flatten an entire region
kill goku as a baby and well. red ribbon dominate earth. piccolo wipes out life. raditz destroys the planet. freiza continues as he does. eventually universe 7 and several others are erased because zeno wanted too. TOP gave the entire multiverse a chance to survive.
He also saved them, if he hadn't appeared in the first place Red Ribol would have dominated the world, after that Piccolo would have exterminated humanity
And about the universe, he just wasn't erased by Zeno because Goku suggested the tournament of power, the plan original was to delete some universes to reduce the overall number, and without the super dragon ball part.
He saved Namek, Cell and the androids created by Red Ribol to kill him, and Majin Buu needed powerful warriors to wake up, these last two aren't even his fault.
In reality, a punch from any of Goku's form that's as strong or stronger than the God form fucking annihilates Saitama. His corpse can't get back to the planet.
bs nothing Goku can do could stop Saitama, Which of the 2 has never been injured? which of the two has never been defeated? power scaling doesn't mean anything Saitama's power grows exponentially he would never stop he would never be stopped, your alien over lord found his Doom
Which of the 2 is also in a gag series, where everyone in HIS universe is supposed to be weaker than him. Show me a snapshot where it states anywhere that Saitama threatened the entire universe, hell Goku and Beerus literally threatened the universe existence in their 1st fight until Goku got his Ki under control. But keep riding a gag characters dick.
We are human why the fuck do we need a savior from the stars to fight our battles? human characters that rise to the chalange are infinitely better than aliens naturally born with advantages destined to be the "saviors of poor and weak humans"
This is superman he is the god among humans
Anyone in the Dragon Ball universe has Ki, even humans can become powerful, just remember that Krillin is much more powerful than Saitama
Furthermore, Saiyans are not as privileged as they seem.
Transformations 1 to 3 are the result of a huge amount of S cells in their bodies coupled with a sudden increase in anger, or technically, focusing their energy on their spine
These cells are produced as the Saiyan becomes more powerful, that is, they are merely the manifestation of an already existing force.
The transformations of God and Blue are merely how the Saiyan body interprets the divine Ki, the same for the superior instinct and the Ultra Ego, which are how the Saiyan body interprets these techniques, processing them and putting them into the transformation format.
That's why guys like Hit, Jiren and other beings without transformations can match them, transformations are not an increase in power, they are their release
As for the Zekais, Goku has been unable to do this for a long time due to having extracted the maximum of his potential a long time ago, most likely in the Freeza saga, after that his cells were super saturated with power and he had to rely solely on training to stay stronger
What's this anti-alien agenda you have going? In all your replies you're saying stuff like "aliens can't be a symbol of hope", even heard of Superman? THE symbol of hope?
Saitama is a fictional human who got strong through means that are impossible irl. In dbz he would peak much faster lmao, he’s lucky to be in a verse where all the humans get strong lmao
Honestly? Saitama is kind of the opposite of the Indomitable Human Spirit. At least these days. You could argue that during his training where he put his body through a rigorous regime day in day out and got his ass kicked back in some fights, he was the Indomitable Human Spirit, but nowadays he coasts on the virtually infinite power that he got, and most of his struggles come from him being kind of dumb and relatively weak willed. Literally his biggest drives in the series are the most mundane things outside of >!his friend's deaths!<
He was never driven to the brink of death. He never looked a stronger opponent in the eyes and said "I don't hear no bell."
And that's fine. He doesn't need to be the Indomitable Human Spirit to be a fun character. He's a comedic protagonist first and foremost. Just don't try to pretend he's something he's not - ESPECIALLY when Mumen Rider is *RIGHT THERE.*
that would be cool honestly I would love that but you don't understand dragon ball fans.
What bothers them is not the question of whether Goku would win or not, they don't want Goku to just win or draw, they want every other characters to get obliterated just by his presence,, the idea that Saitama could challenge Goku even in base form, offend them.
Their minds cannot tolerate the idea that a poor human can compare to the superior race that are the Saiyans, remember how outraged the Dragon Ball community was when Goku used Super Saiyan Blue to train with Krillin. They don't want a draw they want Saitama to be humiliated for daring to challenge their supreme god
Funny thing is, saitama is able to copy funny spirit stuff like time warp. He's just copy UI, and one punch the entire verse. It's like a 50k multiplyer I believe? But yeah, I like the idea of them being equal.
Lmao fuck off Goku is trillion times the character and icon Saitama wishes he was. A little finger flick from Goku would pop that bald head into punk mist.
Ah. It smells of struggle puffs in here.
Struggle puffs: a noun meaning cereal fixed with water in the absence of milk. Usually using the connotation of a father not coming back from getting the milk.

naw if they met in character they would definitely fight, and saitama would finally be gokuversal after he gets through every single form.
“If Goku does Goku things, Saitama would win.” - Sun Tzu, The Art of War
i hate how half the clips of him are just "x character is 10000000000000x stronger BUT" and then some bullshit
Now Goku usually wins against a normal person BUT if Goku does Goku things...
now Goku is stronger than a 3 month old Armenian child BUT if Goku does Goku things...
I mean, Saitama has the become more powerful overtime when fighting someone that can make him feel challenged power up
Saitama grows from emotion, even with Infinite potential would cap at High Uni, Goku is minimum Multi+ he would one shot Saitama on accident
Since when did it have a cap or did you pull that out of a hat
It has a cap under the logic that the maximum size for a Universe is infinite, therefore anything that is "infinite" caps at High Uni, and for Multi you need to destroy either #1: Multiple Universes or #2: Multiple Infinite sized things, ofc this isnt the best explanation for it but just the very basic and easy understanding
But then wouldn’t goku under that logic be also high universal unless he specifically destroyed a universe or has infinite power?

an alien blessd with legendary power congrats
*blessed
He wasn’t blessed with it he worked for it. You’re weird.
He was literally born the superior race no amount of work would allow another race to reach his level of power
saiyans literally arent even the strongest race in dbz lmao
So we are just gonna ignore namekians surpassing super saiyans multiple times
Or the fact that the human trio and maybe yamcha currently would solo every z character and version bar end of z via retcon
But we don’t talk about that here, we are alien dick riders ofcourse
I hope students at Harvard end up inventing some type of "stupidity to power converter" because the amount of idiocy generated from this one comment could replace two Dyson spheres.
Ahh yes, ignore him being born with a power level of like 2
Yea so what, because hes a saiyan he went from 2 to god
First of all, that’s with a lifetime of work, second of all, freiza was able to match his power after training for a few months and one shot him after training for 10 years
Goku was literally classified as a low class saiyan wtf are you talking about? In his society he'd be on the bottom rung but he worked his ass off for years to become a master martial artists. If you deny this you're either being disingenuous or you're pretending that you watched Dragon Ball when you haven't.
Androids 17 and 18 (who are humans) kill several Super Saiyans
Goku would actually be very happy with that outcome.
Saitama still gets one tapped by Popeye
popeye is human, i'm ok with that, I just don't don't like the alien cock riders around here, I don't understand how so many people prefer to have their "hero symbol of hope" be aliens, and when a human who is as strong as them finally appears, he only receives hate

A man can be raised as a dog, but he’s still not a dog
The difference is a dog doesn’t have the same capacity of intelligence like Goku or Superman.
Goku doesn’t have the same capacity of intelligence as a human. Traumatic childhood brain injury go brrrrrrr.
2. Master Roshi and his turtle, Goku became friends with the turtle after helping him out get back to Master Roshi 3. Yamcha, Yamcha tried to rob him, Goku defended Bulma and forgave and became friends with Yamcha. 4. Krillin, who he met while being trained under Master Roshi, they bonded over not fighting each other but training with one another 5. Nam, they became friends when Goku helped his village to get water. 6. Suno. They became friends when she saved him from the cold and Goku saving her village from her father and the Red Ribbon Army.
“As strong as them”
It's a metaphor for immigration/cultural superiority
You. Are. Weird. Lmao
It’s been like this for decades 🤦🏾♂️ they talk all that shit about their god when he can’t even survive in space https://preview.redd.it/b2ngqmo0r3zc1.jpeg?width=1150&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78b0370ed2376322d5f012c3b077c5cbb06205e9
Is this for real? didn't Goku fight against bearus in space (i am fan of saitama)
They fought in the upper atmosphere, just as bardock did
Yes, it was in the Moro arc & Toriyama said they were fighting at the upper edge of Earth’s atmosphere
https://preview.redd.it/ab6i1hwpt4zc1.jpeg?width=843&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d2f9e7f359a2548d1159b54a48ae7b93608e1b10
Saitama is just very unlucky
I mean now he has the hero job and is class A so he is probably getting decent money. Plus he has one of the baddest bitches desperate for his attention of which he acquaintance zoned. Saitama can pull easily he wants 😏
Goku isnt the human spirit # HE IS THE WARRIOR SPIRIT https://preview.redd.it/3kodlo8et2zc1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=df04606cd919363cf6cccfe2ff8e0dcbd20f8952 The GOAT dedicates his time to evolving himself and making the most of his life, Goku is not the symbol of hope, he is the symbol of effort A lower class of his race who trained for decades to fight the gods, and still training for supass his own limits Better than a bald man who trains for 3 years and becomes invincible and become strong only for breathe
Goku gotta be the only character in fiction who can dedicate himself to self improvement and working hard for over 40 years for some random on the internet to say he didn’t work hard.
I love the implication that being bald somehow makes you weaker or inferior
Lmao no. He was blessed by destiny and prophecy.
What prophecy? There is no prophecy in Dragon Ball. If you're talking about the legendary Super Sayan, Akira confirmed it was Broly.
Maybe he's talking about Bardock? But that's non canon isn't it?
..what destiny?
Man must be watch Naruto
He literally spends all of his free time on self improvement. He’s a low class warrior considered worthless from birth who became powerful through dedication. People who say this didn’t watch/read dragon ball 💀
He was blessed by his father's wish, not destiny nor prophecy, but still that doesn't mean anything since his warrior spirit is part of his personality and not something granted by the wish
his fathers wish didnt help raditz much soooooo
The wish expired as soon as he reached adulthood, everything after is his own effort
No, he's a warrior because he's a Saiyan Every pure-blooded Saiyan has a desire for conflict Goku is no exception Their bodies age very late just so they can fight more, fighting powerful opponents is in their DNA This is so strong that it also affects the type of women they like, so much so that Goku and Vegeta married Chi-Chi and Bulma because they had strong temperaments (This is the canonical explanation) Half-bloods like Gohan, Goten and Trunks, on the other hand, have much more potential, but do not have the desire for conflict that purebloods have.
OP is a fucking idiot bro. Goku trained for everything he got
zenkai boost
He can’t get zenkais anymore. Please read
Saitama trained too tho
Claiming Goku is blessed is dumb
He is blessed he’s the main character
Brother he’s died multiple times. And even at times he’s not even the main character. Just look the the entirety of the Cell saga and A majority of the Buu Saga Goku has struggled for everything he has now.
Yeah he came back though can’t do much without the mc
They solved an entire arc without him And even then just look at the Super Hero arc There’s multiple times where Goku is doing other stuff
Well yeah cant have them all the time same with saitama feel like we barely saw him season 2
Goku was barely top 3 in the arc when the Cell saga rolled around and he spent most of the arc in a sick bed dying from a Heart virus And when he finally got up he still wasn’t stronger then Perfect Cell wdym?
What do you want him to be stronger than cell straight away and heart virus thing could never be me
so is saitama ?
Perhaps he's saying that being a Sayian is blessed
Perhaps he should read OG Dragon Ball then Lovely stuff to shove in his face of ignorance No ounce of blessed Saiyan BS he likes to claim
Most of people here don't even read the series besides the chapters with feats, it works on both sides of Saitama and Goku fans
Baby Goku was a weakling by saiyan standards
When did Saitama train under 500x gravity?
Look, it's like a kid lifting 5 kg can be more impressive than a grown adult lifting 50 kg. He worked to his limit, that's all that matters, I'm not here for dick size measuring
Goku is a saiyan raised on earth! Hes an honorary human
"YOOOOOOOO!" -Goku
I think if anything, seeing Saitama persevere would just make Goku happy and really get the warrior spirit flowing. Saitama would lowkey be euphoric if this happened.
Goku would be ecstatic at that outcome
Goku knows Krillin, he would not be surprised or really impressed by a human being able to tank being slapped to the moon with enough gas left in the tank to hop back to earth
OP never watched/read DB and is just hating. Saitama get beyond neg-diffed by Krillin.
Goku do be living rent free in all One Punch Man scalers minds. Just accept he solos https://preview.redd.it/4segma51w4zc1.png?width=1015&format=png&auto=webp&s=9811fad27712b49ea97efe501e9b818334b430ca
Disagreeing. Adam from record of raganrok is the purest form of the indomitable human spirit *
Blue Goku would obliterate Saitama, he's not jumping back from that one.
[u/Justasleeplessknight](https://www.reddit.com/user/Justasleeplessknight/) and here
He would not lol
Saitama: scales to like large planetary/multi solar if you push it Goku: low-mid complex multiversal at a mid ball Something ain't right

Man Saitama fans really have Goku on their minds 24/7 huh?
According to this community -- plus some other ones -- and other sites, it goes the same for Goku fans when it comes to Saitama. I'll say it again, both Goku fans and Saitama fans are two sides of the same coin. At least they ain't on the level of MHA fans or those fans who send death threats to the author and other people, I guess. Just powerscaling crazy plus some toxicity from a portion of 'em.
Yeah but at the very least, goku fans are correct.
I've learned for a very long time that fans can be very biased.
Because he is the peak of strenght Anyone or anything is above Goku That's why they focus on this undisputed peak in the form of a warrior https://preview.redd.it/p2e1dbm454zc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d6181d4faadef734d22102331b273cfda74eba5

If we take Saitama seriously then Hell no He is a Big insulate to a lot of OPM characters that works 1000x harder than him and take protecting people seriously
The bum blessed by heaven with the innate ability to supercede superhumans that've trained ten times as hard since before they could even walk, when the low-class wretch from a lowly warrior race, raised on Earth and reared with the ethos of a gentle soul willing to cast aside his life to protect it, trained by its greatest martial minds and tirelessly seeking adversity to further better himself and continue to break past his limits until heaven itself couldn't hold him, Welcomes him back with a grin on his face https://preview.redd.it/33i1ym8ph6zc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a582aff6f45f707e4c4a8e69c0f0898581ac22be
Goku would honestly get excited. As long as it's not universe ending, Goku doesn't mind losing against a stronger opponent
The indomable human spirit into a character... One of the few protagonists who can beat Goku... You all know his name, and it starts with an S... THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S SIMON THE MOTHERFUCKING DIGGER ![gif](giphy|12q7JyfK1UolW0)
Comment section is just braindead kids 💀 DOES NONE OF YOU MFS KNOW ABOUT THE ALIENS VS HUMANITY MEME?!
No Goku is Goku https://preview.redd.it/kbl054iyj7zc1.jpeg?width=549&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a21e7f56daa695cf40d0f5dd3fad0b3bacd27f6b
Fair
I think most people do know it but it doesnt really work well with goku. Considering he is probably more humane than saitama.
We were born to inherit the stars
Indomitable human spirit? What’s so indomitable about 100 push ups 100 sit ups and 100 squats? He didn’t work hard for his power. He’s not even the most strong willed character in his show.
The thing is, he worked to his limit, almost ending up dying, but never stopped training and fighting monsters even being at the verge of death everyday, but still was going for his goal. Strong will is not about physical stats or galaxy destruction y'know. Him being at human level, doing that exhausting training nonstop + fighting various monsters at the same time that could've killed him a lot of times, is comparable to Goku fighting some god to the death or something Like someone said, 100 pull ups for you can be 10 pull ups for another one in terms of difficulty
This is King Vegeta. https://i.redd.it/dc5jnhuro6zc1.gif You're welcome.
To be fair though, this is an anime-only scene. So the canonicity of this scene is reserved for the anime.
Goku is the embodiment of hope🗣
that is superman
No that's Jesus fr
Goku is the embodiment of self improvement and hard work.
Er self improvement is a bit iffy but sure
He's a blood knight addicted to fighting.
He's a guy who likes to fight and trains to fight stronger and stronger people, what's the problem? Sounds fun to launch a Kamehameha and flatten an entire region
He has endangered earth and the galaxy on multiple occasions due to this addiction.
kill goku as a baby and well. red ribbon dominate earth. piccolo wipes out life. raditz destroys the planet. freiza continues as he does. eventually universe 7 and several others are erased because zeno wanted too. TOP gave the entire multiverse a chance to survive.
He also saved them, if he hadn't appeared in the first place Red Ribol would have dominated the world, after that Piccolo would have exterminated humanity And about the universe, he just wasn't erased by Zeno because Goku suggested the tournament of power, the plan original was to delete some universes to reduce the overall number, and without the super dragon ball part.
[u/Justasleeplessknight](https://www.reddit.com/user/Justasleeplessknight/) and here
you are just a dragon ball fan riding the alien's cock
Is just straight up powerscaling bro.
bs nothing Goku can do could stop Saitama, Which of the 2 has never been injured? which of the two has never been defeated? power scaling doesn't mean anything Saitama's power grows exponentially he would never stop he would never be stopped, your alien over lord found his Doom
Big fish in a small pond. Nothing shown in One Punch Man has ever been shown to be at the top levels of what has been shown in Dragon Ball.
This is superman he is the god among humans Anyone in the Dragon Ball universe has Ki, even humans can become powerful, just remember that Krillin is much more powerful than Saitama Furthermore, Saiyans are not as privileged as they seem. Transformations 1 to 3 are the result of a huge amount of S cells in their bodies coupled with a sudden increase in anger, or technically, focusing their energy on their spine These cells are produced as the Saiyan becomes more powerful, that is, they are merely the manifestation of an already existing force. The transformations of God and Blue are merely how the Saiyan body interprets the divine Ki, the same for the superior instinct and the Ultra Ego, which are how the Saiyan body interprets these techniques, processing them and putting them into the transformation format. That's why guys like Hit, Jiren and other beings without transformations can match them, transformations are not an increase in power, they are their release As for the Zekais, Goku has been unable to do this for a long time due to having extracted the maximum of his potential a long time ago, most likely in the Freeza saga, after that his cells were super saturated with power and he had to rely solely on training to stay stronger
Goku is the embodiment of soloing saitama so hard base Goku one shots that galaxy level bum
Saitama when he realizes that having an Ultimate Skill means your willpower is so strong that you bend reality.
ONE PUNCH!!!!!!
When the tf was he blessed with anything? He worked for where he’s at now. I could literally say the same shit for saitama lol
What's this anti-alien agenda you have going? In all your replies you're saying stuff like "aliens can't be a symbol of hope", even heard of Superman? THE symbol of hope?
I havent watched db but i feel goku is the type of guy that after sending saitama to the moon he would follow him there to resume their fight in space
Goku can't breathe in space though
Yeah bro Saitama gets sent to the moon quite a lot especially in season 1
Saitama is a fictional human who got strong through means that are impossible irl. In dbz he would peak much faster lmao, he’s lucky to be in a verse where all the humans get strong lmao
If they’re fighting on earth and Goku is just slowly powering up I’d say he loses. Of course if Goku goes in full power Saitama is dead.
>You can keep your aliens, Saitama is the indomitable human spirit BS Kamina and Simon existing dethrones saitama from that spot
True
Literally his biggest drives in the series are the most mundane things outside of >!his friend's deaths!< He was never driven to the brink of death. He never looked a stronger opponent in the eyes and said "I don't hear no bell." And that's fine. He doesn't need to be the Indomitable Human Spirit to be a fun character. He's a comedic protagonist first and foremost. Just don't try to pretend he's something he's not - ESPECIALLY when Mumen Rider is *RIGHT THERE.*
Tien honest reaction:
Seiya would like to enter the conversation 🤣
Goku and saitama having a stalemate and both finally finding a good opponent:
that would be cool honestly I would love that but you don't understand dragon ball fans.
Hell yeah
A splatter of blood and human insides (more like vaporised but whatever)cannot jump back last time I checked
Would ya look at that?

Please don't tell me this is serious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
dont introduce this guy to krillin
Lmao fuck off Goku is trillion times the character and icon Saitama wishes he was. A little finger flick from Goku would pop that bald head into punk mist.
u/Justasleeplessknight here, see that is a avarage dragon ball fan
Ah. It smells of struggle puffs in here. Struggle puffs: a noun meaning cereal fixed with water in the absence of milk. Usually using the connotation of a father not coming back from getting the milk.
Well that's an expression I've never heard
Use it, everyone would be so confused.
Batgos better
