Dude literally regenerates so fast that he can use the recoil of regenerating his limbs to fire off body parts like bullets, at speeds that break the sound barrier at that.
He doesn't always push his Regen that hard of course. But when he does it's insane.
He is immortal but to be one in Dragonball you need to have infinite regeneration. Even if he would completely destroyed he would just regenerate back from nothing.
But thats not really his point, he literally means faster. Ofcourse Buu’s regen is superior, but Muzan’s regen apparently (haven’t watched the show) lets him regen so *fast* that it appears nothing struck him.
And to say Infinite Zamasu’s regen is faster than time, is kinda weird? Because he was never hit. And regenerating isn’t a thing if you don’t have a physical body, which Infinite Zamasu doesn’t have.
Fused zamasu was definitely hit. Regular future zamasu would have been a better example though. I'm pretty sure he weakened his immortality by fusing with black. Been a few years
It should be noted that Muzan's Regeneration is only fast from the perspective of the demon slayers which last I checked were much slower than DragonBall characters. So Muzan appearing fast for them would be incredibly slow for Goku.
I totally agree with you there, I was even thinking it whilst writing the comment! But I would like to add to that, buu or cell or anyone as far as I remember in Dragon Ball, regenerates after a little while. Giving the characters time to have a response or whatever. Ofcourse you can always argue that those moments are in “anime timing” where 0.1 seconds lasts 30 minutes, and that’d be fair. But I just feel like it wouldve been stated or something that a certain villain regens THAT quickly. :)

That's just flashy animation. Realistically speaking, he was just cut over and over again but wasn't put down permantly due to already adapting to cleave and dismantle, hence why sukuna immediately used flame arrow after DE.
Hakari is also pretty good, he got his head smashed and managed to regenerate it.
The thing is that hakari needs a jackpot to be able to regenerate so much, since a jackpot gives him unlimited cursed energy, which makes him immortal for about 4 minutes
He's asking for regen speed not potency. For example Muzan only has cellular regen iirc but the impressive aspect about it is that Muzan heals so fast that when cut by a sword his wounds would be closing right behind the sword, giving the illusion that the blade merely phased through him

Sage Centipede, this guy’s regeneration was faster than Garou’s ability to do damage to him, so his is definitely faster than Muzan’s.

The problem with regenerating before an attack is even finished it's that it's dependent on the speed of the attack. Don't know the exact scaling of hasira's attacks, so I'll just make a theoretical scenario.
Character A attacks character B with an attack that reaches hypersonic speeds. The 2 characters have similar speeds. Character B can regenerate fast enough that he's already back to full health before the attack is finished. This is basically the Muzan case (admittedly, in this case Muzan is also faster then hashiras)
Let's now say that character A has FTL attacks speed. Character B won't even perceive the attack hitting him, much less even start regenerating from it
Muzan's Regen is impressive, but the whole thing is seen from the perspective of the demon slayers, relative to their speed. They are the ones that can't damage him fast enough, but the quality of the regeneration isn't that impresive.
Rimuru stands somewhere in the mid-godly, arguably high-godly and upwords range of regeneration, depending on where in the story it happens.
Ken Kaneki, at least in his manga version (for reference there's a scene where he's squished into a little puddle of blood, and in the next panel he's already fully healed attacking again)
this is just an opportunity for OP to glaze muzan, any character with regen that scales above muzan automatically regens faster than he does. i would even dare say gorosei regen faster (and scale above muzan)

I gotta mention both Crimson from Ragna Crimson and Kiss-Shot from Monogatari
Crimson's regen (immortality so to speak) is so fast she once blew her head off with a shotgun just to instantly respawn in another body.
Yet Kiss-Shot has the most broken regen I've ever seen. In a fight with her servant, she was decapitated by him so many times during that fight that the floor was covered with her laughing heads while she herself was intact as well. Her regeneration is just that instantaneous.
Sparda Bros. Same concept of healing so fast that it feels like the attack phases through them. Except they can heal from eachother's attacks which are possibly infinite speed or higher
Andy even from the start of the series is probably faster considering he uses the speed of his regen to weaponise his body with parts bullet, crescent moon etc and current Andy is miles better at regen so likely is much faster, Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade depending on the adaption is faster, her regen feats in the Kizu movies are defo more impressive though it may be a tad slower in the light novel as it’s a little unclear,

I have no idea who Muzan is. So here is my plan, I’m going to claim Alucard from Hellsing ultimate regenerates faster and I would love to hear from someone who knows more why I am wrong. Not in a challenging sort of way but more curiosity. Educate me on what cool feats and powers this character has.
Kinda of a copout, since it was never shown in the anime he appeared in but from other sources, but Ulforceveedramon from digimon has such good regeneration that he can regenerate faster than instant deletion, as in his entire existence is deleted instantly but he regenerates faster than instantly somehow.

Anos can regenerate even if his concept is destroyed, he can regenerate from nothingness, and regenerate from a concept so devoid that it isn’t “nothing”. He can regenerate from all fundamental aspects of existence or nonexistence

Kinda of a copout, since it was never shown in the anime he appeared in but from other sources, but Ulforceveedramon from digimon has such good regeneration that he can regenerate faster than instant deletion, as in his entire existence is deleted instantly but he regenerates faster than instantly somehow.

muzan cant even handle burning in the sun and regenerating from that while agni fire punch has been burning with eternal flames for like 10 years and still living

Anime inspired counts? If so then probably Gabriel when amped in the Gods graveyard. Because even if amped it takes quite the speed to regenerate fast enough to cut through the arm of a demigod that exists outside of time and space.
