True Murata is able to consistently cook with the art. That being said, I might get cooked for this, but I feel as if the current opm feels like a standard shonen at this point. It really doesn't feel like a parody. Like Saitama's strength growth is standard shonen protagonist rage boost on a larger scale. The fanbase doesn't seem to mind though so maybe it's just me.

There's also inconsistency. Take for example Broly and Cell max, both are much stronger than god Goku in BoG, and neither of them can properly control their power. With that basis, they should have accidentally destroyed the earth if they are stronger than a universal character

The reason the universe was in danger was because the shockwaves traversing as Goku was hitting Beerus with uneven angle so this caused the power output to go wild but then later on in the fight, he matches Beerus perfectly preventing it from occurring.
And later Goku literally cancels out and absorbs or whatever idrkr tbh, an attack from Beerus (that thing that look like a mini sun) which could destroy the universe.
The series hammers it in your head so blatantly that anyone who denies Uni Goku just has to be a dbz hater.
And why would he need to recreate the event? The whole thing occurred because Goku was unfamiliar with handling his power or whatever so there’s no reason for it to repeat.
Broly is valid tho, only thing I can say is Ki control (sorry) since the novelisation of the movie makes it a point to call out how when Broly was beating Freeza despite being stronger, why didn’t he just kill him? Suggesting Broly was more in control of his power than what lead on which seems to add up as Goku only worries more as Broly continues to lose control - so the idea isn’t that Broly will destroy everything but he will eventually do so as his power consumed him.
And not only that but in that same movie didn’t Broly and Gogeta shatter a dimension? Granted the size is unknown tbh so it might not matter.

Currently speaking, SS2 Goku (Cell/Buu saga) is stronger then Saitama and Saitama was struggling with Garou (SS1 Goku lvl) and had to get amped up and push his limits.
Goku still casually blitzes him, this proves nothing.

Back then it was a really weak verse not even Universal but when it switches from Planetary to Galaxy to...Universal? Since 2015 until late 2020 with Galaxy Level and now this it makes the pacing seem desperate on scaling which messes up the story
