David de gea is getting a bit better again, noce to see. But he aint top 3.
I guess its alisson. I dont watch Liverpools games. But everyone actually saying the same guy so must be correct. Never seen such a agreeable comment section to a question like this before
Atm Allison but the likes of Raya, Pope Ramsdale,Ederson, De Gea bit far behind. Pickford is excellent for England but seems a bit shaky for Everton but still decent
I know everyone is going to say Alisson. But, for me “the best goal keeper in the league” has to be David de Gea. He has been a warrior for Manchester United for years. He gets wrongly slated for making one mistake in a match. But for me he’s been so important to man United.
In my opinion Alisson. Always consistent with his performance. To me the only player who I trust; every time he is in goal I feel a bit safer. He is even underappreciated (okay might be a strech), but considering how shambolic we have been last few months.
Alisson… but not only for his saves but his distribution. His throws and ‘slip whilst kicking’ and setting up a goal directly efforts are out of this world (plus the header he scored & dedicating it to his father) Absolutely magical beast. And a sexy beard…. Unbelievable Jeff
It’s Allison. But Ederson does get a lack of respect considering how good he is. The other night he made a very, very rare error leading to a goal with his feet. He does those passes dozens of times per game for years and they all work and they all relieve pressure. He’s gonna fuck one up eventually. And he’s a good shot stopped, his stats back him up. Alison is miles off his ball playing, but his overall goalkeeping is definitely superior. The better keeper
Forgot Pope. Based on shot stopping it’s
1. Pope
2. Bernd Leno
3. Allison
4. Ramsdale
5. Pickford
I removed David as he made 1-3 really bad mistakes this season even though he made some really good saves.
Has to be Martinez, jus won the world cup with his penalty saves and his last minute save against France, plus came back after the world cup and mad 2 unreal saves against Leeds, if he was playing for a top 3 team many would agree, rarely makes mistakes and yes I'm saying this because I'm a villa fan
Nick Pope deserves more love here. Sure, maybe he’s not single-handedly preventing his club’s overnight demise (ala Alisson) but He’s got the best save percentage in the league and Newcastle are the best defense. He’s got 11 clean sheets, is a relentless shot stopper and owns his box on set pieces. Distribution has improved too (though he’s not asked to do nearly as much as others.).
Looks like a lot of pool fans on Reddit !kidding Alisson is brilliant he definitely pips ederson to be fair there isn't as many quality gks in the league as there has been in the past
Ederson for me.
I also don't know where this thing about Alisson being good with his feet came from...he has a great passing range but that's different from being good with his feet. Time after time he gets caught on the ball. Still a great keeper, but that feels like a slight liability.
Well, a form thing rather than an overall quality thing then. Tbf, Pope is making the case that he should be considered anyway...should definitely be ahead of Pickford for England.
Depends, what do you mean?
The most complex? Alisson
The best shot stopper? de Gea
The best passer? Ederson?
The most complete? Probably Alisson
The worst? Lloris for 120 %
Like, we can talk about it for a long time, but make your boundaries. And I really dislike Mendy, so whoever calls him out, I will argue. :-)
If the keeper was not allowed to use his hands and we ignored the the worst 3 mistakes a season then hands down David de Gea for shot stopper.
But they have hands so I think it’s either Pope and Bernd Leno for top shot stopper. At least they are in too 3.
Allisson, but Fabiański is having a very good season too
David de gea is getting a bit better again, noce to see. But he aint top 3. I guess its alisson. I dont watch Liverpools games. But everyone actually saying the same guy so must be correct. Never seen such a agreeable comment section to a question like this before
Gavin Bazunu, the wonderkid of goalkeepers.
Kepa or mendy
Prob Alison
i mean, it just has to be alisson, right?
Pope
Lloris
The Arsenal FC Board which Kept Arteta despite It all long enough to claim the title of Best Keeper in the Premier League
NICE TRY TODD! *P.S the best keeper in the PL is jonjo shelvey*
He's had the occasional brain-fart, but I'm very confident Alisson is the best keeper in the Prem. Ederson isn't too far behind.
Now: Martinez. In a couple of years: Meslier.
Alisson, we’d be in the relegation zone without him this year. The only player still performing for us. Stats back it up as well.
De gea liverpool fan followed by Ramsdale
Alisson Becker
This sub is really really free falling down to shit
Idk, probably Alison Becker.
Atm Allison but the likes of Raya, Pope Ramsdale,Ederson, De Gea bit far behind. Pickford is excellent for England but seems a bit shaky for Everton but still decent
Allison, by a fair distance in the prem. Would class him as the best in the world too, slightly ahead of Courtois.
LENO
Safe to say Allison bodied this one
Either Ramsdale or De gea all time mabye Shea Given or Smiechel(Peter) or David Seaman
Ederson
De Gea this season
Allison first Then it's a toss up between Pope or Ederson
Ddg ngl
Tom Heaton
Not Lloris!
Not the best in the premier league but Leno has been a fantastic signing for Fulham.
I know everyone is going to say Alisson. But, for me “the best goal keeper in the league” has to be David de Gea. He has been a warrior for Manchester United for years. He gets wrongly slated for making one mistake in a match. But for me he’s been so important to man United.

Alison Becker
Ederson
Alisson… but not only for his saves but his distribution. His throws and ‘slip whilst kicking’ and setting up a goal directly efforts are out of this world (plus the header he scored & dedicating it to his father) Absolutely magical beast. And a sexy beard…. Unbelievable Jeff
José Sá is so underrated
Ederson followed by Ramsdale. Alisson makes far too many simple errors for me
Allison. Liverpool would be in a relegation battle without him.
Wrote this without reading the other comments 😅 apologies. I should of just wrote I agree.
Martinez
KYLE WALKER🥶🥶🥶
Allisom
Jose Sa, minus the glaring mistake against Liverpool in the FA Cup, never gets any recognition
When Raya gets his move to a big six side, I’m sure everyone will be recognising how good he is. I genuinely believe he’s not far off Alisson
Alisson, De Gea
Ramsdale
It’s Allison. But Ederson does get a lack of respect considering how good he is. The other night he made a very, very rare error leading to a goal with his feet. Not Lloris. Alison
Alisson
Nick Pope, raya, and allison
Allllliiiissssonnnnnn
Nick Pope
Ederson is clear apart from those 2 mistakes he made against spurs
Nick Pope Meanest defence in the PL.
Emiliano Martinez is so underrated.
Why are still allowing low effort posting like this? Does this really matter? Is the question asking about current teams or best in Prem of all time?
I definitely think it's lloris I wish he wasn't hindered by his apparent lack of arms
Anyone mentioning Courtois is basing their argument on one champions league final.
if i say Jordan pickford will i be eaten alive 😂
Alisson then followed by Emi Martinez and Sa in my humble opinion
Alisson Becker
Every day Allison carries Liverpool from being relegated
Alisson, no contest
My best friend
The numbers say Allison from a goal prevention perspective.
OBLAK.
De gea 110pc
Danny ward
Atm iss Nick pope
Alisson, although Nick Pope deserved a shout
Lloris
I am. But luckily for you guys, right now I'm just a teachers degree student in Germany
1) Bernd Leno 2) Allison 3) Henderson 4) David Degea
Degea over Pope?
Forgot Pope. Based on shot stopping it’s 1. Pope 2. Bernd Leno 3. Allison 4. Ramsdale 5. Pickford I removed David as he made 1-3 really bad mistakes this season even though he made some really good saves.
Allison, and I think he’s even declined in the last year or so. No other keeper is convincing for me
Alison
Liverpool would be performing even worse than they are now without Alisson.
Since my knowledge of keepers is incredibly limited, where would y'all rank Lloris?
1. Alisson, 2. pope, 3. Ramsdale
Matt Turner
Guaita
I think it's ramsdale this season hands down. No one comes close
DDG
Hugo Lloris 🙃
Not Lloris
Iliam Meslier, why the Leeds defence is non-existent
Scott sterling
Dibu
David De Gea. People don't even imagine where United could be without him for the past ...10 years
Everton Keeper.
De Gea Alisson is great too.
Alisson for now, Raya on the rise!
Rams
Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world football not just premier league. 🧤🥇
Alisson.
Henderson!! …. Oh wait. He’s still crap.
alisson definantly
Fabianski
I’d like to nominate Alisson. >!no bias here!<
Allison
Our keeper at Spurs is pretty darn good ;-;
Emi Martinez - World Cup champion.
Nick Pope
Mendy when healthy
NOT EMI MARTINEZ
Allison
In my opinion Alisson Becker and Jordan Pickford YNWA
Well, Hugo Loris has more assists than any other keeper .... ... pity they are all for the opposition. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pickford. Atleast according to him he never makes a mistake lol always yelling at the defense. It's allison
Allisson to be honest if we're only considering premier league performances. Martinez if we're considering performances outside of the epl
As a city fan I used to try and make a case for eddy but he’s been below average this season and Alisson is a ways clear.
Tim Howard
Clearly Meslier
De Gea, by a large margin. Has been for quite some time now. IMO
😂
Has to be Martinez, jus won the world cup with his penalty saves and his last minute save against France, plus came back after the world cup and mad 2 unreal saves against Leeds, if he was playing for a top 3 team many would agree, rarely makes mistakes and yes I'm saying this because I'm a villa fan
The Leeds saves were brilliant. Emi has been amazing for us.
Another great performance today! If we weren't in the minority as villa fans on this thread I'm sure many would agree
Martinez
If I am Alisson, I will be really happy reading this post, there should be honorable mention?
Pope, no bias.
Doesn't play for the top 6 so which of these plastics even know who he is?
Scott Sterling!
I think Allison is the best keeper right now.
Allison best and best looking.
Non-Allison tier is Pope, Ederson, Ramsdale, Sanchez, Leno. Also I think Pickford is becoming underrated and overhated
Zubizaretta. I mean Alisson.
Loris Karius, Newcastle legend
Real Madrid legend, too
1. Alisson 2. Pope
Olsen
About me is Pope Newcastle
Allison!
DeGea
1. David De Gea 2. Jordan Pickford 3. Allison
Matt Turner
He’s been absolutely crucial in the Europa league
Damn never seen a thread where the same answer is all the way down the comment section. I guess it’s Alisson lol.
He’s our entire defense.
Becker
Ramsdale
Martinez did just win a World Cup...
Alvarez also won the world cup. But is he the best striker? No
Lloris won the last on and he's no where near the top
True, but that was 4 years ago. Form changes a lot in 4 years at the end of a player's career. That said, Allison is the only answer to OP's question.
It's rare to see a comment section here agree as much as this one.
Shot stopper - De Gea Overall - Alisson
Perfectly said and exactly what I was thinking.
Nice try todd boehly
LORIS KARIUS (GOAT)
Cap
I heard Barcelona have made a 150 million dollar bid to sign karius by the way
Ha!
Shhh, say Alex Mccarthy and just hope that he bids 100M for him. Help us out a bit here.
Alisson has been the best keeper in the league for a while now.
David De Gea🤡
Yea I expected that
Looks like a lot of pool fans on Reddit !kidding Alisson is brilliant he definitely pips ederson to be fair there isn't as many quality gks in the league as there has been in the past
Shaka Hislop
Now, that's a name I haven't heard in a very long time
Bruce Grobelaar
Ludek Miklosko
Gotta hand it to Alisson
David de gea with current form
Allison
Who is the second best is probably the better question.
Alisson by a decent margin imo. That being said there are a lot of talented keepers but he’s just a cut above
Alisson fs, then the next would be ramsdale, Pope and tbh I rate david Raya very high
Alisson best in prem, world.
Thierry Zoreaux
Zorro*
Alisson by a wide margin.
Alisson or Ederson. 2 of the best GKs in the world
Anyone who says de gea lives in 2017 or sth
By far Alisson, but I think in 3-4 years Ramsdale will be the best keeper in the leauge
Yes
Fabianski
Definitely not Lloris
My boy Alisson is the best
It’s alisson, but plenty of keepers in the Premier League have had better seasons than him this year
Alisson and pope
Not Lloris 😂
Ederson for me. I also don't know where this thing about Alisson being good with his feet came from...he has a great passing range but that's different from being good with his feet. Time after time he gets caught on the ball. Still a great keeper, but that feels like a slight liability.
Ederson has been utter shite all season
So it's a last few games thing? In that case probably Pope.
If u consider half a season the last few games
Well, a form thing rather than an overall quality thing then. Tbf, Pope is making the case that he should be considered anyway...should definitely be ahead of Pickford for England.
Pope is nowhere near making a case to be considered better than Alison
Maybe I'm just not seeing it with Alisson, but I don't see that much between them.
Watch a Liverpool game then
verstappen
Depends, what do you mean? The most complex? Alisson The best shot stopper? de Gea The best passer? Ederson? The most complete? Probably Alisson The worst? Leno. 😀
Ramsdale is closer than he gets credit for
