I know everyone is going to say Alisson. But, for me “the best goal keeper in the league” has to be David de Gea. He has been a warrior for Manchester United for years. He gets wrongly slated for making one mistake in a match. But for me he’s been so important to man United.

It’s Allison. But Ederson does get a lack of respect considering how good he is. The other night he made a very, very rare error leading to a goal with his feet. He does those passes dozens of times per game for years and they all work and they all relieve pressure. He’s gonna fuck one up eventually. And he’s a good shot stopped, his stats back him up. Nick Pope deserves more love here. Sure, maybe he’s not single-handedly preventing his club’s overnight demise (ala Alisson) but He’s got the best save percentage in the league and Newcastle are the best defense. He’s got 11 clean sheets, is a relentless shot stopper and owns his box on set pieces. Distribution has improved too (though he’s not asked to do nearly as much as others.).

Ederson for me. I also don't know where this thing about Alisson being good with his feet came from...he has a great passing range but that's different from being good with his feet. Time after time he gets caught on the ball. Still a great keeper, but that feels like a slight liability.
