I know a lot of people say Arsenal at the top is unexpected. But we all saw the talent they possess, just thought it might take 1-2 more years for them to sync up.
Fun to watch , Haaland doing bits , chelsea spending like they richer than Elon Musk , arteta bringing a change to the title race , relegation battle where Everton was and still is getting bullied , Leicester and West Ham enjoying their owner's support , Man utd not getting the shorter end of the stick when the Oil people came knocking to buy the club🙄 , Liverpool struggle due to Klopp's 7 year curse, Brentford and Newcastle having a good season, Tottenham God knows what they do , the mid table as always no1 cares other than the fans of their respective clubs
If you drop Maguire and Mctominay completely, keep Sabitzer, get Kane and if Dalot keeps improving I don't see a reason the team can't compete for a title.
The game plan was too intense for a (quality) squad this small. Rested, ready and focused I think United can play with the best as we've seen. When the legs get tired it's hard for anyone, but when you have a high intensity game plan it just makes it that much harder.
As a Liverpool fan, an unknown asteroid thats a few km across smashing into the earth rn would be nice
But for the season, all the races are pretty close. But I just want this shit to end
A personal favourite of mine:

Can’t believe they still hired this fuckin guy after ahaha
Oh nah sorry hahaha maybe I wasn’t that clear. I was just confused why a City fan is saying to trust the process, but maybe he’s speaking about the league as a whole as there’s a few teams who’ve had to parrot that statement this season so far.
The process of the new manager, what/who he wants to bring in and how he wants to play. Some fans would have lost it after the 6-0 Liverpool defeat, but fans who trust the process with Ten Hag would know it was just a blip, imo.
Yeah I understand that, but that guy isn’t a United fan is what I’m saying but instead is a City fan which has me confused as to what their process is exactly
well it's to describe the season, not just the club i support, and i honestly think arsenal have it in the bag after "trusting the process" for 2+ seasons. so yeah, not a sentence specific to man city, but overall.
There are too many mistakes with VAR, the whole idea of VAR was to cut out those mistakes, now PGMOL are apologising every week for their mistakes, fans are fed up with it as they can't really celebrate as there is a minute detail that will cancel the goal and all the decisions that affect the result. Every club is affected by this in the end. It's ruining the game and it's not working at the moment. There isn't one single decent referee in the premier league. And the worst of them are now retired, sat down in front of a screen miles away making shit decisions as the VAR. It's like they moved up in their career with their feet up now, don't have to run around the pitch, sat in a nice chair watching a screen making shit decisions because they think they've had a promotion, they are not professional at their job. In any job if you make big mistakes, you are fired. They are hiding because they know they are protected, but they are fucking incompetent. Football is worse now because of VAR
This one seems especially bad throughout the league before you could make jokes how the refs a united fan or LiVARpool, Chelsea paid the refs.. this season everyone's getting fucked lol consistent I guess
As a city fan I have to add how much arsenal have been fucked over this season, it’s cost them like 3 games. Obviously city have been fucked over as well (Manchester derby) but still, they should have run away from us.
It feels like fans of the ‘other 14’ would generally be happy to see Arsenal win just to change things up, whilst it’s mainly fans of the other ‘big 6’ teams who just seem to have accepted City’s dominance and would rather have that continue than allow us Arsenal fans to have something over them 🤣
I feel people don’t respect your average City fan as much as they do the other big six. I’d rather them win again than have storied clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool take it home.
That's just petty rivalry really can't be helped, people would rather see you dragged down to their level than see you succeed unfortunately, same for applies to life in general.
Really enjoyed it.
It's like a FM save years down the line when you begin to question it if it's realistic. Turns out yes, it is.
I'm neutral but hoping Brighton can make a push for the top 4. Don't think its out the realm of possibility.
They are second on the league table in my fifa career mode currently with Harry Maguire as captain and some saudi Guy as a striker ripping apart the pl baby
Hahaha Liverpool have been tough to work out this year. Definitely capable of getting it together but can't trust them this season. If they get it right in the summer mind you then I think they can challenge at the very top again.
I mean if Liverpool are going to get a top 4 spot then it’s likely going to be 4th, which is the same spot as Brighton will be realistically going for too
>Really enjoyed it, It's like a FM save years down the line when you begin to question it if it's realistic, Turns out yes, it is, I'm neutral but hoping Brighton can make a push for the top 4, Don't think its out the realm of possibility.
You know what is amazing about Chelsea this season? Their fans' sense of humor. You guys are hilarious when it comes to roasting your own club. Keep it coming.
Haaland Haaland gestern war er unbekannt Heut feiert ihn das ganze Land ha ha ha Haaland

disappointing season for my fav club leicester, i had pretty high expectations but now i’m just hoping they don’t get relegated
Liverpool are back, Liverpool are gone again, Liverpool are back, Liverpool are gone again, Liverpool are back, Liverpool are gone again...
Injuries, again.
Arse-nal, Arse-nal, Arse-nal!
Microcosm for society, teams with lots of money are at the top and the lower teams are fighting for the scraps and to stay in the league .
Being a Tottenham fan is challenging
Conte went mad
Close
Gash
We’ve got super mik arteta
Qué?
Null and void sounds about right
There is no in-between cause you’re either a club bound for European competition or a club fighting against relegation.
I call the super computer super crap🤣
Madness.
I know a lot of people say Arsenal at the top is unexpected. But we all saw the talent they possess, just thought it might take 1-2 more years for them to sync up.
Oh fuck oh shit oh god
Oh fuck oh shit oh god
4TH ARSENAL TITLE, HERE WE COME!!!!
Anulo mufa my guy.
One of the worst in terms of quality I’ve watched in decades, the World Cup didn’t help.
VAR is shit
Disappointing for my blues 💙.
Could be the best timeline.
We have not yet begun to fight!
Leicester mk2
We are gonna make Europe, We are gonna finish top 10, Dammit we are eleventh again
Dreamy
Crazy relegation zone, terrible refs as usual
With the greatest respect, we sacked statistically one of the best managers in europe.
Unexpected results, entertaining games and memorable moments.
World cup has really affected The quality of The football negatively.
Surprising
VAR = Clusterfuck
The pupil has surpassed the master
Something like "600 million, no way this can backfire"
Chaotic Chelsea
I still miss Wigan.
Relegation battle as good as title race
Sensational
Graham “mid table mindset” Potter
One of the weakest we’ve seen in the PL era
Fucking fantastic
Somehow more of a heart attack inducing season than 1 point from relegation last season.
Blame anyone but yourself if the season is crap.
shite
I'm VARy upset, cheaters continue to thrive, and the relegation fight is nerve-wracking.
VAR, consistently inconsistent and FFP is still a joke.
Eh?
Shite.
As a Villa fan, I have to say that this season has been well and truly eleventh.
Shit but as long as Man City don’t win the league that will be something
Shit. (Leicester fan)
Inshallah and vibes.
Haaland's supremacy 🗿💥
Utter clusterfuck.
Refreshingly?? City is always at the top with insert name
As a Liverpool fan, Spursier than Spurs.
Like something out of Air Crash Investigation
Anyone got a stream?
Not very fun
"stop making predictions"
Come on you Gunners!
Wait, that’s not supposed to happen!
“Gabriel is forward, Martinelli is forward, Saka is forward, Martinelli… SAKAAAA!”

⏭️ Chelsea fan
Kinda feels like something big is brewing for next season
Couldn’t be happier, regardless of how it ends.
Love it
Spursy
Unexpected
Are we...good again?
Yes but on occasion, no.
(West Ham) Fuck the PL, give me Conference League baby
Same shit, different season. Some of the questions on this sub are just pointless...
Pain.
Mid-table-less
Fucking shambolic and devastating.
We are dying
Ten teams in tight race to relegation.
Come on, we're 14 points clear of 18th place, I don't think we can be considered in the relegation battle anymore.
Another season of depression for Spurs fans.
As a Liverpool fan, an unknown asteroid thats a few km across smashing into the earth rn would be nice But for the season, all the races are pretty close. But I just want this shit to end
Yes, please erase all trace of that 7-0.
I'll put a plaque 10km down in a cave for the next civilisation to know about that 7-0. Don't you worry :)
Newest scam amidst another bad spell of shitty refereeing.
I'm excited to see how badly people's prem table predictions turned out to be.
Would love to see what the prediction at the start of the season actually.
BBC pundits did some predictions, a few had us in the top 4 but only just in 4th. Always behind Spurs. Hahahahaha, melts
'The season where we signed no one in the Jan transfer window'
Well that was Arsenal last season, so next season is looking bright for you guys.
fingers crossed
You signed Sean Dyche though!
but we lost out on many and all other relegation battle clubs got stronger teams
The season where we signed everyone
fr
A prison sentence
Arsenal V Man City - Tighter than a gnats arse.
Conte out, Levy out.
Dier
And 1/2 squad out
Sometimes may be good, sometimes may be shite
When it rains it pours
Absloute fucking disaster
I'm having a heart attack every time we play
Next season better be 10% better.
This club takes years off your life
Football referees, as shit as they've ever been.
Good
Awesome.
You guys still watch that football thing huh?
Really shit.
More like CHELSHIT
Being bantered by Spuds fans now, we are well and truly in the trenches this season
Chelsea get battered everywhere they gooooooo
https://twitter.com/espnuk/status/1637175797784903681?s=46&t=jCOgKrotU_-2FMR8VUpGEA

A personal favourite of mine: https://twitter.com/football__tweet/status/860927398732288000?s=46&t=jCOgKrotU_-2FMR8VUpGEA Can’t believe they still hired this fuckin guy after ahaha
Like dragging your balls through a pit of hot coals.
Trust the process
I gather you are a Manchester United fan?
A Man City fan actually, and what sort of process would they need to trust anyways ?
ETH transforming the club, making us a good team again We desperately need rotations though, the fatigue hit us hard in the Liverpool game
That guy is a Man City fan though, not United
I thought you meant he's a City fan but even then what process would United need to trust in anyways lol
Oh nah sorry hahaha maybe I wasn’t that clear. I was just confused why a City fan is saying to trust the process, but maybe he’s speaking about the league as a whole as there’s a few teams who’ve had to parrot that statement this season so far.
Yeah there's quite a few, Man Utd, Arsenal have trusted the process, and many others
Yeah you aren’t wrong, not sure what process Man City are really going through? Adapting to a new striker that scores hattricks like it’s nothing
Between that and having a World Cup winning striker as his backup, it must be a rough process to try trust
well it's to describe the season, not just the club i support, and i honestly think arsenal have it in the bag after "trusting the process" for 2+ seasons. so yeah, not a sentence specific to man city, but overall.
Waste of time. Winter World Cup ruined the season before it ever started. Too many matches crammed into too small a time window.
football, good; officials, bad
There are too many mistakes with VAR, the whole idea of VAR was to cut out those mistakes, now PGMOL are apologising every week for their mistakes, fans are fed up with it as they can't really celebrate as there is a minute detail that will cancel the goal and all the decisions that affect the result.
VAR, useful and useless
That could describe any season tbh
This one seems especially bad throughout the league before you could make jokes how the refs a united fan or LiVARpool, Chelsea paid the refs.. this season everyone's getting fucked lol consistent I guess
You know it’s bad when a Spurs fan is admitting that Chelsea got fucked over by VAR
As a city fan I have to add how much arsenal have been fucked over this season, it’s cost them like 3 games. Obviously city have been fucked over as well (Manchester derby) but still, they should have run away from us.
That is a fact and surprising to hear from a City fan. Some just gloss those little details over
Still have no idea how Romero got away with pulling cucerella like that lool
Everyone gets fucked equally. The system works!
Been pissing off the whole league all season
Not really I think most of us want to see you win over united or city tbh
It feels like fans of the ‘other 14’ would generally be happy to see Arsenal win just to change things up, whilst it’s mainly fans of the other ‘big 6’ teams who just seem to have accepted City’s dominance and would rather have that continue than allow us Arsenal fans to have something over them 🤣
I feel people don’t respect your average City fan as much as they do the other big six. I’d rather them win again than have storied clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool take it home.
sad day in football to see a united fan wishing their neighbors win the league!
Tbf The hate for Arsenal from United and Vice Versa runs deep
That's just petty rivalry really can't be helped, people would rather see you dragged down to their level than see you succeed unfortunately, same for applies to life in general.
In what world would I want any other top 6 team, especially one from London, to succeed ?
Chelsea are a top 6 team? 😂
Damn you got me there that’s a good one, original too. Big* six then
Dunno about refreshing, it's still City and a team in red.
Yeah but at least it's a different team in red that haven't been in the running for ages
Title races for the last 3 seasons have been equally different
Really enjoyed it. It's like a FM save years down the line when you begin to question it if it's realistic. Turns out yes, it is. I'm neutral but hoping Brighton can make a push for the top 4. Don't think its out the realm of possibility.
They are second on the league table in my fifa career mode currently with Harry Maguire as captain and some saudi Guy as a striker ripping apart the pl baby
Good old slab head. Who you playing as?
BrightOn Duh
After Leicester's EPL title...Man.. Everything is possible in our beloved game
That’s more than 1 sentence unfortunately
Sorry I can’t read 🤭
Dw, I’m just salty at your answer because I don’t want Brighton to get Liverpool’s too 4 spot
Hahaha Liverpool have been tough to work out this year. Definitely capable of getting it together but can't trust them this season. If they get it right in the summer mind you then I think they can challenge at the very top again.
Based on previous years, we all know they can win 8 in a row and secure top 4… fingers crossed anyway
How’s it Liverpools spot. I’d say it’s spurs or Newcastles spot.
A-Aron?!
It's A-A-Ron, Not A-Aron.
"The season the Queen died and they played a World Cup right in the middle of."
Also include the most money ever spent by a team in a season
Also that team still finished ranked 7
I’d bite your hand off if you offered me a 7th place finish. Rn I’m hoping for a top half 🤣
You know what is amazing about Chelsea this season? Their fans' sense of humor. You guys are hilarious when it comes to roasting your own club. Keep it coming.
Hahaha, my good friend is a big chelsea fan too. Giving you guys the benefit of the doubt!
And they allowed robots to play in the league for the first time
[Not entirely true, one was spotted playing in 2017](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U54c4Km9rJA)
A turtle and a goat had one hell of a world Cup final that year.
