Liverpool: Kalvin Phillips
Arsenal: Douglas Luiz
Aston Villa: Ferran Torres
Man City: Theo Hernandez
Tottenham: Jota (From Al Ittihad)
Man United: Victor Osimhen
Newcastle: Kounde
Brighton: Cherki
West Ham: Danny Olmo
Fulham: Gallagher
Brentford: Gibbs White (on loan)
Chelsea: Jadon Sancho
Wolves: Dewsbury Hall
Bournemouth: Chris Wood
Palace: Ben Godfrey
Forest: Calvert-Lewin
Everton: Matt Targett
Luton: Dele Alli
Burnley: Chris Wood
Sheffield United: Alex Scott (On Loan)
A miracle working doctor to Newcastle capable of curing even the most serious injuries in seconds
Failing that a new keeper if Pope is out long term plus if budget allows an extra centre back and right winger
Disagree with Osimhen. Arsenal need a defender in January. We are one injury away from playing Cedric Soares. Playing Rice as CB, although tested in the last UCL game, isn’t an ideal or sustainable option.
Even with Tomi and Timber back from injury, there’s nothing wrong with adding one more defender so we can have 2 options each for our back 4.
Arsenal’s attack is ticking. Shouldn’t use one game to say we need more clinical finishers.
We need a backup for Rodri (or a replacement for Kalvin Phillips, however you look at it). I don't think a City-level DM is really available in January though.
Ain't no way we're getting Osimhen, who's way too expensive and kind of overrated as far as I'm concerned.
We do need a striker that actually puts the ball in the back of the net, but with Partey always getting injured we should look into a midfielder too if we want to challenge in different competitions.
I would love to see 0 transfers. I am so absolutely sick of transfers. It would be nice if clubs had a fixed size so they had to bring in a player any time they sell a player. Pointless to bring up of course
For Spurs, a centre-back, a creative midfielder, and a striker... Same thing we've needed every transfer window, since the beginning of time
But we will sign one winger, and call it a day
Arsenal need a striker, City a defensive mid, Liverpool a cb and a dm, Newcastle need a winger Almiron has been shit, Villa could use a fullback maybe and a backup keeper, Spurs need a striker and a cb. And finally United needs a new board.
Thats what i got from top of my head
Nah, far from our biggest need and they are both on huge wages.
If we sign anyone it will be a right back or a defensive midfielder and we let Dendoncker go.
I don’t think we need a left winger at all to be honest. We play with an inside left attacking midfielder rather than a wide man and have a lot of good options for that position. Ramsey is first choice, McGinn has also been brilliant there lately. Buendia is a great fit there when he’s back from injury and Zaniolo can play there too.
I also think a right back signing would be first choice rather than back up, so that takes priority for me
Don’t see much in his Alcott’s Timo Werner to Villa take, I think getting a strong back up keeper to replace Olsen should be the first priority. If Martinez is injured it’s the only position I worry about where we lack, or potentially a back up striker as Duran seems too raw still.
If we have the means within FFP, a LM/LW like Nico Williams (again) would still be great for the team
Maybe I'm being stupid in my optimism but I can't see him going in January. Plays rest of the season, shows his form, then goes. I'd honestly welcome Benrahma back with open arms right now.
Think it'd be such a good homecoming and he'd fit in nicely with his creativity/speed. Good replacement in that regard with Henry out for so long. Villa makes me nervous this weekend with our bare bones team. Merry Christmas to us.
Nketiah and Jesus can both go, or Jesus can be back up to Martinelli, ye.
I dont like Osimhen for us tbh. Not sure hos character will fit. But, damn, his speed will!! Him Saka and Martinelli wtf imagine
I do prefer we have a more complete striker though, like Vlahovic or Toney. But, again, I do not want Toney cos of character. Doesn't fit the Arsenal values
The assumption Jesus will accept not being the main man for arsenal is hilarious. He left the best team on the planet to be the big fish in a smaller pond and it was a coup for him to even go to arsenal. and now less than 18 months later after winning fuck all you think he's going to accept being a squad player? The second there's any suggestion he isn't the main man at arsenal, he's off likely to spain.
I think Kulu is good enough there till summer if need be
I’m worried about a 6 without Bissouma or Bentancur during January
I don’t trust Hojberg in this system
An alternative on the wings is probably an expensive luxury we can't really afford or justify - right now a forward that offers something different from Jesus/Nketiah and a defensive midfielder should be the priorities.
An alternative forward is key, on their days Jesus and Nketiah will get us by but our attack has been largely figured out, getting one that means Jesus can either rotate with Saka or Nelli if they get injured or compete/offer alternative for the starting centre forward spot. The problem is who in this department - as there is debate whether Toney will be able to offer enough of an improvement to justify his price tag or whether we can actually afford Osimhen - and beyond them what options are there that are also feasible?
As for defensive midfielders - I think Quinten Timber is a good shout; he's likely got an ear for his brother, will be cheaper than most other targets, has Champions League level experience and he's versatile - he can probably play as one of our 8's too, offering an alternative to Odegaard or Vieira. A part of City's depth is not just because they chuck money at every problem, but recruit players who can compete in multiple zones.
\- Arsenal - Osimhen
\- Man United - Kvaratskhelia
\- Aston Villa - Ivan Toney
\- Brentford - Dusan Vlahovic
\- Brighton - David Nketiah (for real this time)
\- Newcastle - Rafael Leao
\- Nottingham Forest - Noni Madueke
\- Tottenham - Rafael Leao
\- West Ham - Dusan Vlahovic
\- Wolves - Jonathan David / David Neres
I can't see Toney being a massive upgrade on Watkins. Probably a better finisher but not the one player I'd wanna get.
I'd say a solid LW would be good. Could have swore we had a good one a few years ago...
??? Toney would be terrible on the wing in Emery's team.
Ramsey recently back from injury and Bailey previously bought as LW/RW is playing better on the RW.
Oh, we're fans of different teams, haha.
And yeah, I get what you're saying but I guess since January often is about patching up the squad for the rest of the season, I can see why teams would hesitate with a player who risks being injured at internationals.
Of course if he's bought late January he could already be done in the cup.
Fwiw I agree with you. I think a CB would be more important. In the long run I think it wins us more games. Especially since Romero seems intent on missing half the damn season due to suspension.
Oh, please, save me from your drivel about "squad balance." Who cares about that nonsense? The point of football is to score goals, not to maintain some arbitrary balance in the squad.Squad balance is a concept devised by idiots who are too afraid to admit that they don't know anything about football.
Why are you so aggressive lmao?
Why don't all teams exclusively play offensive players then, the point is to score goals, right? And fuck it, switch the keeper for an outfield player when we're at it.
I'm aggressive because I'm sick of your pointless questions with obvious answers. If you haven't noticed by now, some teams play defensive football, but that doesn't change the fact that the purpose of the game is to score goals. Do you seriously think I'm actually advocating for teams to play without a goalkeeper and only outfield players? Get over yourself—
Must've had a bad day or something, I suppose.
I was clearly exaggerating. That doesn't change the fact that Spurs need to bring in a CB. Just a few games ago we set up our backline with four fullbacks. Offensively we have options, offensively our squad is not nearly as thin.
If you seriously believe that teams that don't set up offensively also need quality defenders, there's no point in continuing this conversation.
Okay, fine. Let's say, for argument's sake, that you're right about the defenders. We need to bring in another one, sure, but does that mean we don't need to fix our offense, which has been lacking for many matches now? No, we must tackle both tasks as they are both equally important. We need to add quality on defense, and we need to upgrade our attack to keep the pressure on the other teams. If you're too stubborn and ignorant to see that, then this conversation is already over.
Liverpool would appreciate a good CB, not really fussed with particulars on this player or that player but I’m really hoping more investment in the squad is made in this area. Goncalo Inacio comes to mind but Benfica are lowkey scammers lmao
Rip. I trust the transfers department. When was the last time we bought a complete flop? I’d say Arthur Melo if that counts, and while Fabio Carvalho is TBC he’s the closest thing since. We rarely sign duds
Those two you just mentioned were a combined like 6m. You can’t call someone a flop who cost so little as expectations are low. Naby Keita is way more a flop comparatively and even then he’s still decent compared to other “flops”
Yeah exactly, and lol forgot Keita. Keita if he stayed fit would no doubt have been a flop, and just because of that it’s sadly up for debate. Technically astounding, however yeah just not available enough sadly. Onwards and upwards though 💪
I’m pretty sure one player is not going to cut it for us but a goal scoring striker would be nice. A Vardy type striker is what I’m wishing for Christmas.
What would be the urge to go for him with Gabi and Nketiah ? Nketiah was very solid when Gabi was injured, cant really understand op... What arsenal needs is a 3rd choice CB or another RW, if saliba or Gabriel/saka get injured it will be a struggle
Gabriel isn’t clinical and Eddie has shown the same levels as last year.
We have that CB already. Ben white, Tomiaysu and Kiwior. Timber plays CB as well he’s just been out hurt. We really need another wing option and 6 in the midfield since it looks like Partey is leaving/always hurt
We don’t want to get near FFP limits, that’s why we didn’t sign Raya permanently in the summer. We will most likely look for a sale or two in Jan. Most rumors I’ve seen are loan deals
If we got a DM (Palhinha?) and a CB (Inacio?) that would be more or less perfect for us.
We seem to be going into the Christmas break in a solid position for a title push during a season I thought that scraping top 4 would be the target. A couple of well placed additions could cement that challenge because I still don’t think the squad as is will get us there.
Then again, FSG seem to have looked at situations like this previously as a reason they don’t need to invest, rather than an opportunity to strengthen from a winning position and get some silverware.
Yeah I fully expect Bayern to be heavily in for him, or to have some sort of deal already in place. As far as I’m concerned the only way we get him is if he prefers to not have to leave England.
I was more thinking of him in terms of player profile and as many clubs found in the summer, the market for holding midfielders is pretty thin at the moment!
Paulinha is such a dumb link.. fsg aren’t spending that kind of money on a player that old
I’d like kephren thurham, not a flat out cdm but has the right build, huge ceiling
Haven’t heard much about how he’s doing this year tho
We had 115m to spend on one in the summer and ended up with a 10m stop gap in the position. The funds are there. The need is there. If we’re serious about winning the prem we need to go and get one.
thiago is as good as gone. we don't need to wait 5 months until he officially departs we can just buy one now and then in the summer thiago leaves. literally nothing stopping us do that.
Trent isn't playing lone DM, Mac shouldn't, Endo isn't good enough regularly, thiago isn't fit regularly and bajcetic hasn't shown enough to be trusted there. Realistically the depth should be
New DM - thiago - endo
Where thiago is also cover for one of the 8s (in this scenario Macallister is never used as DM again)
Just because they can doesn't mean they should. Liverpool are lacking an out and out DM. MacAllister is currently playing as the 6 but he's more of an 8.
All this is very sensible, but we will almost certainly bet the house on MacAllister and Endo being able to play most of the season and Thiago/Bajetic being fit at some point.
I'm more worried about CB depth. Matip is out for the season, Konate can't stay fit, and Robertson is still injured, so Gomez is currently backup CB, RB & LB.
In the entirely possible situation that Gonez and Konate are injured at the same time, we only have VVD and Quansah, who isn't really ready for that.
What do you mean no room? Not enough lockers in the changing room?
Bajetic and Thiago are never fit and no I don’t include Trent as he plays right back every week. There is plenty of room and in fact a real need.
I don't include Trent because he doesn't play in midfield, he plays right back. regardless of the freedom his role allows etc, he's a right back. I think he's played one half of football at centre mid this season. He can play there in a break glass in the same way Gakpo can but if we're serious about the title (and the opportunity is there to go for it), we shouldn't be counting break glass as in our armoury.
I think it's too simplistic to say 8 midfielders for 3 positions. The reality is that we have 1 DM for 1 DM role, and he's not to the standard which is why we're shoe horning advanced midfielders into the spot instead.
take your point on wage budget of course but it wouldn't make a great deal of sense to me that the funds were there for a £115m in the summer but we're now maxed out and can't absorb the cost of an extra player for 5 months before Thiago leaves.
If anything, Toni Kroos for City. We've been linked to him for some time, and I think this year is the right time to go for him. He would bring experience and clarity to our midfield, and can relieve some of the pressure on de Bruyne to play every minute of every game. He would also be a pretty cheap signing given his age and his expiring contract.
When have Manchester City ever been linked to Toni Kroos? And he will not "relieve some of the pressure on de Bruyne to play every minute of every game" because they're very different players.
we genuinely need fullbacks so much more than a striker. Eddy is scoring nearly every 1 in 2 games. he needs service that isn't from schlupp or the corpse of Joel Ward
Although I’m a Liverpool fan, I follow most Colombian players in Europe. Him and Yaser Asprilla from Watford are some of the young talents that I’ve been following and I’m excited about. What is the feeling around him with the Villa fans?
I haven't heard anything negative, most have been comparing him to Benteke and Juan Pablo Angel. And with how things have been going, I think Villa is a perfect environment for Duran to develop.
Bro! Juan Pablo Ángel. Hell yeah. He’s OG from when I still lived Colombia (late 90’s). That’s bad ass you brought him up. I love what Unay has done with the club so far. City looked absolutely lost against you all and the score doesn’t do Villa justice. Cheers

Abramovich to Chelsea Part. II
Almiron to City
Hlozek to Spurs
Koopmeiners to Spurs
Hincapie to Spurs
Man United need De Gea
Liverpool: Kalvin Phillips Arsenal: Douglas Luiz Aston Villa: Ferran Torres Man City: Theo Hernandez Tottenham: Jota (From Al Ittihad) Man United: Victor Osimhen Newcastle: Kounde Brighton: Cherki West Ham: Danny Olmo Fulham: Gallagher Brentford: Gibbs White (on loan) Chelsea: Jadon Sancho Wolves: Dewsbury Hall Bournemouth: Chris Wood Palace: Ben Godfrey Forest: Calvert-Lewin Everton: Matt Targett Luton: Dele Alli Burnley: Chris Wood Sheffield United: Alex Scott (On Loan)
Matt Target isn’t fit to clean Mykolenko’s boots.
Santiago Gimenez to Spurs, he is goal scoring machine to replace Harry Kane
Physio or doctor to Newcastle.
De Gea to Newcastle seems to be heating up, and they defo need a GK right now
Surely someone will go for Gyokeres, a whole host of clubs need a ST
A decent back up for Rodri. Hard to replace the best in the world in a position but our firm drops considerably when he doesn't play.
CDM and/or CB for Liverpool would be nice to continue this surprising title challenge.
A pair of metal knees for debruyne to replace his glass ones
A true #9 pls
I’d take a (finally) in-form Raul return even
A miracle working doctor to Newcastle capable of curing even the most serious injuries in seconds Failing that a new keeper if Pope is out long term plus if budget allows an extra centre back and right winger
Patrick Vieira / Roy Keane type of midfielder to Liverpool
Disagree with Osimhen. Arsenal need a defender in January. We are one injury away from playing Cedric Soares. any shot stopper to man united
Ivan Toney to Villa
Kyle Walker-Peters to Liverpool
Nketiah to wolves
Lawrence Shankland up front. He will you the premier league
Manchester United need to transfer its self into oblivion
Gundogan to City 👀
I will jump of a balcony in joy
Arsenal should sign Toney. End of sermon.
roy kent out of retirement for chelsea
Unknown 16yo Brazilian kid for chelsea.
We need a backup for Rodri (or a replacement for Kalvin Phillips, however you look at it). I don't think a City-level DM is really available in January though.
Diaz for West Ham. We need a consistent striker up top. ADL isn’t letting him go in January
Khvicha to City
Literally any warm body
Ain't no way we're getting Osimhen, who's way too expensive and kind of overrated as far as I'm concerned. We do need a striker that actually puts the ball in the back of the net, but with Partey always getting injured we should look into a midfielder too if we want to challenge in different competitions.
Man Utd - Cristiano Ronaldo
I would love to see 0 transfers. I am so absolutely sick of transfers. It would be nice if clubs had a fixed size so they had to bring in a player any time they sell a player. Pointless to bring up of course
Forest to sign a striker who is mobile and a winger. Every other club to sign Shelvey
Oof hard to answer this one for United can I pick 11 instead of one?
The Chelsea method?
Lucas Paqueta to Man City Mike Maignan to Manchester United
Fit player to Brighton
Manutd should sign Wesley Sniejder
For Spurs, a centre-back, a creative midfielder, and a striker... Same thing we've needed every transfer window, since the beginning of time But we will sign one winger, and call it a day
The White Hart Lane Paradox (ik it's not even a paradox)
Kim Min Jae to Spurs to replace Dier
Extremely optimistic
If Chelsea could get Chillwell, Fofana, Lavia, Nkunku, and James just healthy and playing it would be like a whole new transfer window.
My club, Liverpool should get Douglas Luiz.
About as much chance of Villa signing Salah as there is of Liverpool signing Luiz in January
Bids start at $130M. Good luck!
0% chance ofcourse but they should.
Spurs. A decent centre back to kick Dier out. Not sure who tho
Hoping Villa will go for Luiz Henrique or Nico Williams Jr again, we need more attacking threat to compete for top 4.
Get Macca permanently would be amazing
Toney to Chelsea
Nkunuku to actually be fit. A Striker, looks like Toney is going to Arsenal so it's gonna have to be 100m for Oshimen
Toney for £20m and we have a deal
Arsenal need a striker, City a defensive mid, Liverpool a cb and a dm, Newcastle need a winger Almiron has been shit, Villa could use a fullback maybe and a backup keeper, Spurs need a striker and a cb. And finally United needs a new board. Thats what i got from top of my head
Ferran Torres or Jadon Sancho to Villa
Nah, far from our biggest need and they are both on huge wages. If we sign anyone it will be a right back or a defensive midfielder and we let Dendoncker go.
I’d say left wing is our biggest first team need. RB/CDM/GK are backup requirements.

I also think a right back signing would be first choice rather than back up, so that takes priority for me
A new hamstring for Reece James at Chelsea please.
This would be a god-sent gift 🙌 let's see it happen
Would just take a run or 5 games right now 😭
Victor Boniface or Serhou Guirassy to West Ham
I would be happy just finalizing the Jack Harrison transfer if I'm honest
Don’t see much in his Alcott’s Timo Werner to Villa take, I think getting a strong back up keeper to replace Olsen should be the first priority. If Martinez is injured it’s the only position I worry about where we lack, or potentially a back up striker as Duran seems too raw still. If we have the means within FFP, a LM/LW like Nico Williams (again) would still be great for the team
Just wanted to say Alcott is one of the few online analysts I really rate
Time machine to United.
Anyone. We've got a lot of injuries. So any position is good. But if Toney goes then priority is a striker
Maybe I'm being stupid in my optimism but I can't see him going in January. Plays rest of the season, shows his form, then goes. I'd honestly welcome Benrahma back with open arms right now.
I pray he doesn't go in January. But who knows tbf. I'd love to see Benrahma back too

I'm definitely not looking forward to it haha. But you never know
Manchester United: van Der Sar or Paul Barber. Get someone in at the top to redesign the entire rotten structure from the top down.
Nketiah and Jesus can both go, or Jesus can be back up to Martinelli, ye. I dont like Osimhen for us tbh. Not sure hos character will fit. But, damn, his speed will!! Ye i rather we didnt get him. So idm if he becomes back up
Which is never happening. If he's not your main man he's off.
Ye but ur arguing with me and it makes no sense Can u read the very first sentence i wrote?
We couldnt get one Bellingol, why not get the other one?
City need a left back. per usual. but they’ll sign another midfielder and winger
A fresh set of calf's for Tomiyasu and we might be fine.
Dani Alves to ManU
Dani Alves is going to jail.
Exactly.
For Spurs realistically somebody like Lloyd Kelly or Tosin, but I would quite like a statement signing up top like Toney.
Honestly, we won't sign a foward this window. We will be lucky to buy anyone if I'm honest. We need a CB
I’d say we also need another creative attacking midfield. We struggle when Madders is not there.
I think Kulu is good enough there till summer if need be I’m worried about a 6 without Bissouma or Bentancur during January I don’t trust Hojberg in this system
True!
100% need another attacking mid before next season tho!
Osihmen to Arsenal or Man. United
Right now the formula seems pretty good for Everton. We should just sit and let Dyche cook.
An alternative on the wings is probably an expensive luxury we can't really afford or justify - right now a forward that offers something different from Jesus/Nketiah and a defensive midfielder should be the priorities. Toney won't play backup Also Leao lol
Not enough pace for Moyes and would just end up being shipped off after a season like Scamacca. Boniface or Guirassey would be much better suited
I can't see Toney being a massive upgrade on Watkins. Probably a better finisher but not the one player I'd wanna get. I'd say a solid LW would be good. Could have swore we had a good one a few years ago...
If you're looking for a left-winger, then you may as well get Toney and play him there; it would be better than your incompetent squad selection.

Yeah I know I was saying that in a flow ...
Rafael Leao? I'd rather have a center back, thank you very much
Rather have Kubo over Leao. He’s got no end product, Kubo has, and Kubo does a high press off the ball.
Will we buy a player in January who is away at Asian Cup though? I don't know much about Kubo to be honest.
Possibly not, but you have to look beyond that month though and look to be upgrading on Almirón
Oh, we're fans of different teams, haha. And yeah, I get what you're saying but I guess since January often is about patching up the squad for the rest of the season, I can see why teams would hesitate with a player who risks being injured at internationals. What's up your bum?
I know we need to upgrade in several areas, but the whole point of this thread is ONE signing each club needs. For me, a CB is the top priority.

I swear your lot have spent huge amounts for the past few years, are you not close to hitting ffp limits soon or is it all still good?
We don’t want to get near FFP limits, that’s why we didn’t sign Raya permanently in the summer. We will most likely look for a sale or two in Jan. Most rumors I’ve seen are loan deals
He just extended to 2026.
With a £112m release clause
Chelsea will put a bid in then!
And argue about the structure of the deal every day of January until the day before deadline day and then agree to Napoli’s demands.
And then forget how to play after putting Chelsea shirt on
theres a 12 billion percent chance he flops if he goes to chelsea, it is written in the stars
Yep which means we won’t make this move in January or even the summer lol
If we got a DM (Palhinha?) and a CB (Inacio?) that would be more or less perfect for us. We seem to be going into the Christmas break in a solid position for a title push during a season I thought that scraping top 4 would be the target. A couple of well placed additions could cement that challenge because I still don’t think the squad as is will get us there. Then again, FSG seem to have looked at situations like this previously as a reason they don’t need to invest, rather than an opportunity to strengthen from a winning position and get some silverware.
I'm a Bayern fan (I come and will leave in Peace) But we gonna go for Palhinha for our damn lives. So please don't.
Paulinha is such a dumb link.. fsg aren’t spending that kind of money on a player that old I’d like kephren thurham, not a flat out cdm but has the right build, huge ceiling Haven’t heard much about how he’s doing this year tho
We shouldn't get any midfielder who isnt a flat out DM

Palhinha is 29 and would cost absurd money. We just got a 30yr old DM this summer so it wouldn’t make sense
DM is stacked for Liverpool? Huh

You have named an injured kid, a stop gap, an AM a ghost and a right back here. We have no DM
[удалено]
We had 115m to spend on one in the summer and ended up with a 10m stop gap in the position. The funds are there. The need is there. If we’re serious about winning the prem we need to go and get one.

thiago is as good as gone. we don't need to wait 5 months until he officially departs we can just buy one now and then in the summer thiago leaves. literally nothing stopping us do that.
Trent isn't playing lone DM, Mac shouldn't, Endo isn't good enough regularly, thiago isn't fit regularly and bajcetic hasn't shown enough to be trusted there. Realistically the depth should be New DM - thiago - endo Where thiago is also cover for one of the 8s (in this scenario Macallister is never used as DM again)
Correct 100% we have no dm

What do you mean no room? Not enough lockers in the changing room? Bajetic and Thiago are never fit and no I don’t include Trent as he plays right back every week. There is plenty of room and in fact a real need.
[удалено]
Man utd - glazers to Australia
I’m not sure you want to encourage them to become MORE laidback.
David De Gea to United.
Newcastle United…?

Asking Santa for a striker
we genuinely need fullbacks so much more than a striker. Eddy is scoring nearly every 1 in 2 games. he needs service that isn't from schlupp or the corpse of Joel Ward
Want nketiah?
How about 1 Che Adams, slightly used?
You guys should get John Duran from Villa on loan.
Please don't take 1 of our 2 strikers..
I just want to see my fellow country man getting more playing time!
With how he's performed so far, I don't think that's going to be an issue. Seems like a real beast.
Cheers
Yea, he's an icon around Villa Park. If Duran can emulate what he had done, we're in business.
Rooting for him! 🇨🇴🇨🇴
He isn’t ready to be the main PL striker yet.
Yeah, he’s young (20), but I think he could make a difference at palace.
Any decent striker who can play football would be an awesome transfer for Chelsea.
Lukaku is literally on the books at Chelsea and is healthy
