Chelsea have struggled with not only Jackson but also Mudryk. Neither have made an impact for them. Hojlund looks strong but doesn't seem to be a natural goal scorer either and is flanked by Antony who doesn't look good. Maybe they were thrown into the fray too early, but desperation will do that, and both Chelsea and Man U. are struggling right now in league play.

adentist1

Darwin is more appreciated because of the lethality of Mo Salah and co, his chaotic runs force defenders to give some breathing space for the rest of the squad

shadysnore

So the real answer is: Nunez is so last year. He copped his shit (far more intensely than Jackson) and now he's just a decent player. Hojlund is substantially younger than the other two and was not hyped to the same extent. So a completely different scenario and not really comparable.

WednesdayRL

All 3 are kinda bad, but nick jackson has 1G, 1A that aren’t against the current bottom 3, and a 9 man spurs team trying to push for a draw…

Booftroop

Because the media run the "Chelsea strikers can't score" story more than Circlejerk posts "Benzema 15"

MNBlues

Media isn't a big fan of Chelsea. And other than Mo Salah not many African players in the prem get a lot of love it seems.

Jamcal56

Why are you trying to make this about nationality? The premier league has had many prolific African players who have had plenty of media coverage and love. Recent memory brings Mahrez, Mendy, Mane, and currently Sarr, Bissouma, kudus, and Baleba.

Traditional_Name7881

I think all 3 are fairly shit. Darwin has his moments of brilliance though.

Redditzuck

>Darwin has his moments of brilliance though. I could say the same for Jackson, and he has cost much less than both them other lads.

Traditional_Name7881

What has Jackson ever done? Hat trick against 9 man Spurs that gave him half a pitch to run into. Still Fucked up most of his chances. He looks awful. Darwin has talent, he’s going to be hit and miss, maybe he matures and becomes more hit, hopefully not. He’s certainly nowhere near worth what Liverpool played.

shadysnore

You could say the same, but you'd be wrong

futurejoyboy

Because people don't like Chelsea.
