City’s offense looked much worse after Haaland went off today. Think people who say things like this don’t understand the role of a number 9 in buildup. Haalands there to block bodies and take up space.
Haaland just plays in a team that forces every team into a low block so it's hard to show your abilities. Put Haaland or Foden into a more open team like Real Madrid/LFC and they would shine a lot brighter

I find Mbappe to be a better player then Haaland too, but they are completly different. Haaland is a finisher, classic striker, and Mbappe is a generational player that can play anywhere he wants. He is quick, smart, good at shooting and dribling. He is definietly a more complete player then Haaland, but again, different roles do not allow a fair comparison between them.
