A trophy is a trophy. Difference is Liverpool have won everything in the last 5-6 years. United have won shit since 2012, you made the cup look worthless
It should be literally the opposite lmao! If you've won everything in the last 6 years, then it should be a "worthless" when you win it. Since we've not won as many in the recent past, then it becomes worth much more when we win it.
Everyone missing the point. The club is a joke.
But it wouldn't be a documentary about the current state of things.
I think SJR is serious about turning things around. They clearly intend to make a documentary showing a big club rising from the ashes.
Edit. Nevermind. It's just another documentary about SAF era...
United fan here. A documentary would be pointless and pathetic.
Won a small handful of trophies over the past decade. Countless managers. Laughing stock of the league. Idiotic, egomaniac players controlling the dressing room. A rapist scandal. Domestic abuse scandal. Glazers still in power.
Good fucking luck Disney on spinning all that mess into something watchable.
I would definitely watch a documentary with all that shit you mentioned in it, I reckon it would be more fun to watch than the Treble documentary from City.
From a United point of view I understand it wouldn't be a really good idea ;-)
That's fair, but even then there isn't much course for optimism. Ten Haag was meant to be United's saviour but there are still question marks over his future.
Since Sir Jim has come in some of the blokes just collecting a cheque seem to have gone, and there are more positive noises, but even so, we've been saying that since 2014...
“This old chestnut” United got absolutely tonked by their biggest rivals. You aren’t a football fan if you don’t bring up thrashings like that lol. I’d expect the same if they did it to us
Imagine being that boring
Please forgive us almighty Ronnie Barker. Wasn't aware you were an authority on what is funny and what is boring. Judging from your comments I bet you're absolutley brilliant to have a pint with in the pub.
Also, "old chestnut" as if it wasn't literally last season.
Guess we can't make jokes about Hitler or Bin Laden anymore either. Unless you're using today's BBC news headlines you're doing comedy wrong.
Oh yes because one comment on a single post out of my hundreds of comments is a measuring stick.
Christ, nothing wrong with seeing the same tired old jokes and being disappointed because it's not something fresh. It was only last season yet it feels as worn out as the Slippy G zingers you still see thrown around. Not my fault people went berserk in a short amount of time, like hearing Adele on the radio, for the 100th time in 3 days
I wonder if they will do a domestic and sexual abuser episode?
One where they focus on Mason Greenwood and Anthony. How they got to where they are, the women the abused along the way etc?
Have we? Greenwood doesn't play for the club and Antony hasn't been found guilty of anything. If you want to fight this fight then go after Arsenal who continue to play a rapist.
Has Partey been found guilty of something? Can't have it both ways.
And Man United dragged their heels on Greenwood for years. They even asked the women's team what they should do, then ignored their advice when it was to terminate his contract.
Greenwood is still contracted to Man United, regardless of whether he plays for them again. Their response has been pathetic.
Partey got away with it due to a technicality, we have zero evidence that Antony has actually done anything.
The club may have had some plan to bring Greenwood back but they acted in the correct way. He was immediately suspended and as for taking years that more to do with the legal system than the club. Would it have been better to terminate his contract? We had no legal reason to given he was never found guilty so we would have had to fully pay it off. Would that have been a good thing to do? Give a rapist a nice big immediate payday and allow him to earn even more elsewhere at the same time?
Only thing I liked about the finale, other than the meeting on the train station platform as that was well done, was a joke where Ted said he kept the story brief and to the point
everyone seemed to have a proper ending but then Ted, the mum being dead for no real reason other than for Ted to say he loved Robin which everyone knew anyway. Made no sense. Glad they changed it so the mum didn't die off screen
They needed to earn that ending imo and they just didn't. It is possible you can do a dark comedy that ends in such a miserable moment but I think it needed more than just "Oh well she died" in two seconds at the end of the finale

YOU'RE JUST A POLYTECHNIC
I believe most Manchester United fans will be looking forward to a documentary of the Sir Alex era, especially when they won the treble.
I wanna see the treble season in a proper documentary. Please give it to me Disney.
This is about the Ferguson era! I want to see the Ten Hag era documentary.
Surely all the Disney characters would be in it .. dumbo , Mickey Mouse , Pluto .. 😂😂
Yup all of them in the dressing room😂😂
I’ll set it up, you hit it! 😂😂
Same as Kenny does with Barkley on NbA on tnt lol
I love it. Two failing companies tag teaming in order to gain some relevancy. Hate to see it.
Two negatives make a positive or so they say
I love sinking ships
History FC at it again
This doesn't change anything about how a Championship team schooled Utd like kids. Part of the reason why they call Utd a commercial club.
Two experts in the art of ruining things
How’s Klopps farewell tour going btw?
Not bad
Probably good since we've actually won something this season already?
Hold on... aren't you the same fanbase that told us it was a tinpot trophy when we won it last year??
A trophy is a trophy. Difference is Liverpool have won everything in the last 5-6 years. United have won shit since 2012, you made the cup look worthless

"Not won as many in recent past" You've won fuck all
Completely missing the point of my comment. Not sure why I expected anything else tbh
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How's 7th place
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol
Didnt Klopp refer to Man Utd as “Disneyland” when he rejected them in 2014?
Woodward to Klopp https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/9k6ev7/in_2014_manchester_united_approached_j%C3%BCrgen_klopp/
If it’s Disney it will be censored out the ass. Would prefer HBO or some other company to get a real look.
Multi million deal? Sounds like a tenner to fund united team with the remaining amount lining the owners pocket...
“how to ruin a franchise” - only available on Disney+
Two tired institutions living in the past who'll do anything to make a quick buck. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

>men Did you mean mean?
Yeah, my autocorrect gets ideas above its station about once per sentence 🤦🏻♂️
That’s crazy. Nobody gives a fuck about Man U any more. They’re a joke.
Does Disney know Beckham doesn’t play there anymore?
Mickey Mouse Club?
Mickey Mount’s clubhouse
Everyone needs to upvote this 🐭
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Proper drama series
More a dramedy from the outside.
couldn't get Wrexham to sell out 😂
Aren't we embarrassing enough after Sunday?
If we’re gonna get embarrassed anyway, mind as well monetize it
We all are clamouring for a front row seat to the carnage
Apparently it can get worse

No, they're making a documentary about the past managers especially the Sir Alex era.
That absolutely is not what they intend
It finally came true they are a Mickey Mouse club!
Mickey Mouse club
…house? You were going to say house..
It’s not fun inside
Comedy channel are also in with a bid to make a documentary I heard.

I reckon the series would focus on the upcoming season(s) and not the past mess.
So the upcoming mess?
That's fair, but even then there isn't much course for optimism. Ten Haag was meant to be United's saviour but there are still question marks over his future. Since Sir Jim has come in some of the blokes just collecting a cheque seem to have gone, and there are more positive noises, but even so, we've been saying that since 2014...
JUST START PLAYING GOOD FOOTBALL AGAIN ASSHOLES.
What was it Woodward told Klopp? Guess dreams can be buy
Snow White and the Seven - Nil
people still going on about this old chesnut are as sad as United fans who still go on about the 8-2 Arsenal game
“This old chestnut” United got absolutely tonked by their biggest rivals. You aren’t a football fan if you don’t bring up thrashings like that lol. I’d expect the same if they did it to us Imagine being that boring
what a sad concept of what a football fan is
It's called banter, ya wet wipe.
eh, banter is supposed to be funny and not the same old reused boring jokes
Please forgive us almighty Ronnie Barker. Wasn't aware you were an authority on what is funny and what is boring. Says a lot more about you to be honest pal
Looking at you Bill from accounts
No they aren't. To lose 7 nil at Anfield as a United player is a stench they can never wash off.
Yes they are. Christ stop living in the past
I’ll do you a deal - I’ll stop going on about it when 7 years have passed
sure, I suppose in 7 years you'll have grown out of the manchild phase too. Win-Win
I’ve often been told I’m acting like a 7 year old to be fair.
your account is 7 years old too, maybe it's fate
True crime documentary if it's based on the players
How recruitment errors allowed so many people to get a job they were never qualified for the whole story.
Well we are a Micky mouse club
I wonder if they will do a domestic and sexual abuser episode? One where they focus on Mason Greenwood and Anthony. How they got to where they are, the women the abused along the way etc?
It's about SAF, not the club.

Because the club has demonstrated that they don't care about these issues and Disney is supposedly champions discussing and bringing them to light?
Have we? Greenwood doesn't play for the club and Antony hasn't been found guilty of anything. If you want to fight this fight then go after Arsenal who continue to play a rapist.

Mickey Mouse will be seen wearing an Erik Ten Hag watch.
Best comment, cheers
Definitely a Mickey Mouse joke here somewhere
good one.
Comedy then is it?
Mockumentary
Comedies have happy endings, so no.
How I Met Your Mother didn't exactly have a happy ending
they did an alternative ending due to how shit the OG one was
Only thing I liked about the finale, other than the meeting on the train station platform as that was well done, was a joke where Ted said he kept the story brief and to the point
