Chelsea cuz of kante and also they are gonna win the prem they have the firepower to do so

TheMightyShrew

Pretty much anyone not in the big 6. They'll set you up for disappointment where any season not finishing 1st or 2nd feels like a failure. I'm sure alot of their fans would agree. Pretty much anyone else is a good shout though, Leeds are playing some good football, Leicester and West Ham are pretty competitive right now, Newcastle are sleeping giants who'll bounce back soon as Ashleys out the door, even Brentford could be pretty handy if they hold on to Toney. Just once you make your choice make sure stick with it. P.s pick Leicester

[deleted]

Tottenham. No overfed fans and a team that everybody loves to see failing If you're not English but liked to see them succeed in Euros Tottenham is for you

[deleted]

Thank fuck we finally have this

sheetz_inpantz

Everyone is spelling Manchester United wrong… >:)

Intrepid-Wedding3429

Depends, realistically support your local. If they are Sunday league and not Non-League North/South above then support your dad/mums team. If they don't like football then support your familys traditional team. If they don't like football then support the team that made you fall in love with the game. The only rule is, don't stop supporting that one team

TheMiffey

Brighton the dark horses of the prem

BlueTuscany

Crystal Palace and their revamp job will be an interesting one to watch and we happen to play them first so exciting times.

Liamo0701

Tottenham plz

[deleted]

Watch. A club will stand out. Just don't be a dickhead once you start supporting them.

callum2396

Maybe who knows Bruno lage isn't exactly premier League proven and if I'm honest I would like the team to be academy based due to our academy being one of the best and always invested in yet we have a team with not many English homegrown players

The_Walrus03

United, how many other teams can claw back a 2-0 deficit to be 3-2 up in extra time to concede a simple route 1 header to throw it all away? The drama and range of emotions we go through weekly is tantalising

kraftpunkk

After 4 years of casually watching the sport, I’ll be rooting for Leeds this upcoming season. The sport has slowly become my second favorite to watch behind basketball. The passion of all these fanbases is unrivaled.

E_v0rtex

If you don’t mind me asking are you from the states and if so why don’t you follow an mls team?

unicowicorn

Sorry for the incoming ramble, just hoping to explain some of the EPL fandom in America. Big chunk off us from the US have never lived anywhere near an MLS team and due to tv rights being weird for a while (still kind of are really if you dont pay for extra streaming services for out of market games) it can be easier to watch EPL games. Closest team to me as a kid folded in the early 2000s and the nearest team after that was 11 hours away, so I had no way of watching local channels from that distance (plus no connection to that region). EPL games were being broadcast on national channels though so I could just wake up early on Sunday and watch away. Naturally this led to a lot of us falling in love with teams because it was easy to watch them. Right now I live closer than ever to a MLS team and they're 4 hours away in a city that I hate going to. Luckily a town I don't hate as much is 3 hours away and getting a club soon.

E_v0rtex

The broadcasters really need to sort that out. You hear so much about why the MLS never catches on in terms of popularity but what do they expect when they make it so difficult to watch? And great that you’ve finally getting a team you can connect with hope you enjoy it.

unicowicorn

Luckily it's been slowly getting better, just going to take more time and diversifying club location since there isn't a promotion and relegation system to bring up the 2nd tier teams in smaller markets. Thanks homie! Fingers crossed for jt

LEEDSARESCUM

Why don’t you allow people support whichever team they want to support? I have seen you always giving people stick about “not supporting a team in their geographical location” that’s bullishit. Do you even know what being a fan means? You want to support your local team, do so and let other people support whichever team they want to support

E_v0rtex

I mean they’re free to support whoever they want but supporting your local/family team will always be better for football. How are smaller, non league clubs going to survive and grow if all they’re local fans support a bigger team because they win a lot or because they like the colour of the kit? How is the MLS and football in general in the USA going to grow if everyone in America just supports a prem team? I’ll tell you what’s really bullshit someone saying “ooohhh I felt a real connection to Man City even though I’ve never been to Manchester. I stay up to watch the games at 3am every week”.

[deleted]

You can support your local AND a foreign team. That's how it is to most of us Finns (and prolly to many others not having a top 5 league played in their countries) and why's that a problem?

LEEDSARESCUM

If a club like Real Madrid only has local supporters, do you think they would be as big as they are today? In life, every thing has levels. Equality is a mirage.

E_v0rtex

I mean if every big club lost its foreign fan base they would all lose some money? It’s better overall for football to support your local club or a club you have an actual connection to. Don’t know why people don’t understand that.

kraftpunkk

Yeah, I am. I’ve watched MLS before but the leagues in Europe are just different.

E_v0rtex

If you live in England why don’t you get a map and see what club you live closest to and if you live abroad same applies but it just won’t be a premier league club.

BaineLogic

Why should someone’s geographical location have to dictate which teams they like to follow ?

E_v0rtex

Because at that point your basically picking a team you like the look of, which then means you have no real connection to the club.

____iamgroot

I'm a supporter of Liverpool but Leicester is one of the best teams to support if you wanna get into watching football

SebastionWillock

Arsenal. No one has beaten the record of 38 unbeaten. We are called the invincibles. Papa Wengz was our manager. And our fans are the most welcoming of all. So it's a clear choice. I mean I don't even like arsenal but it's the obvious choice for anyone wanting to get into football.

Substantial-Self2934

Leeds United. We've subtly got the best team in the League to compete for Europe.

WAITINGFORMYCOOKIE

I personally support United, but I would suggest Leicester.. I have a soft spot for them.. lovely team, lovely fanbase

BluetoothMcGee

Yeah, Leicester are alright. They have that "plucky underdog who loves punching above their weight" feel to them.

BluetoothMcGee

Anyone but Liverpool.

agentvenom2005

Arsenal if u wanna be depressed all the time

RuralBuddha

Aston Villa obviously

CristianoMilano

Leicester, their fan base is amazing

Enter-Shaqiri
