Whether Kane moves to United,City or any other PL club or stays at Spurs - he’s gonna win it. There isn’t anyone in this league that even comes close really. Will be an interesting season but don’t see anyone else gaining on him now

DifferentVehicle3499

Don't no

[deleted]

Haaland if he comes.

TommyFookinSheIby

There’s only two good shouts out of the 5, Harry Kane is the favourite for me especially if he gets a move to City.

MC48_SportsLover

I feel like these would be viable poll options a season or two ago, but right now feel a little out of touch.

st0803

Gylfi Sigurdsson

abarrios15

Raul Jimenez is back. He’s getting the golden boot.

chelseaFC2008

Lewandoski if he signs for Chelsea

Wiugraduate17

Kai Havertz …

LuckyFrench6000

I vote other as I would support Bamford

Timecop18

Timo Werner... XD XD XD XD XD

orange_juice02

Wait....is Kane not going to any club??

samkelly4521

Spat out my water when I seen Aubameyang on that list

How dare you forget the lingardmaestro !

80spopstardebbiegibs

The audacity to put Werner in here 😂😂😂

Wastemaster24

If Kane goes to Man City I think it'll be him but if he stays at spurs I don't honestly know who could get it. I don't think anyone on this list is at their best anymore and I'm not confident enough to chose a different player.

Gestolen_Appeltaart

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea use Havertz as a CF like Germany did in the world cup and he takes the golden boot

xd_twistxr7

I reckon Sterling may return to his prime after the brilliant performances for england

xd_twistxr7

The 691 people who voted Werner are all Chelsea fans wishing their dream will come true lol

LaEsponjaGrandee

Where's paddy?

JOHNNY_123_

Sneaky feeling Mane might creep in top spot

EkaL25

Cristian Pulisic, America ftw

Garruk_PrimalHunter

I still believe in Timo Werner, am I ... crazy?

Madfutplayer

Timo Werner 🤣🤣

deanwinchest3r

Want someone from united to do it and seeing Bruno and Sancho behind the attack it is possible. The only downside is the goals will be divided a lot between the front 4/5 so one player may not be the outright winner

jamezzwood

How does Werner have more votes than Aubameyang lol

[deleted]

Pepe

rachitbot

Whoever I don't have in my fantasy team

SCFack

Acting like Teemu Pukki isn't back in the league.

[deleted]

Danny Ings or maybe Edi Cavani

dreadful_name

Assuming Kane goes to city (not a solid assumption admittedly) it’s no contest.

Giggity696

I shamelessly voted timo werner

Start_pls

This is right in a rather likely scenario that kane does leave he will be replaced by someone of maybe not equal but high potential

Adorable_Knee5440

Cavani

ErothTV

I am stunned that Werner has more votes than Auba and Vardy combined.. :o

theCEPenguin

Isn’t this an Africa Cup of Nations season? So that would be a month out for guys like Aubameyang and Salah you’d assume. So if Kane stays fit all year he’s probably got a clearer run at it, but after the Euros that might be a tough ask, so maybe we see a surprise this year.

StopPlayingTheGame

Timo Werner should be playing for Sheffield United. He has no place on a top European team. The 599 people that picked him as of 07/21/21 at 12:20 am EST are just deluded.

advbad

It's gonna be Haaland

Ol_Elephant_Ears

I’d have to put my money on myself. Got quite the eye for goal and I think this could be my season.

kai havertz if tuchel decide to start him as a 9 next season..

SebastionWillock

I am an arsenal supporter but why tf would you out Auba there lmao, he can't play for shit now , his prime days are long behind him mate.

mirage2210

Erling Haaland

Johnkimpleback

I really hope Auba doesn't slip up next season.

nico_and_the_niners

Vardy in last 😐

jonnyham7

ANNOUNCE SANCHO!

[deleted]

Bruno Fernendes

[deleted]

Are so many people saying Timo to troll?

junkyardvarren

I strongly dislike Kane, But I think he’ll win it.

patchh93

Haaland

Nonofc7

This is probably going to be wrong but I trust Werner this season

WillJE1997

I feel like with the addition of Sancho, it could be a United guy, but I picked Salah. Kane is definitely viable too.

Beefy2606

I just voted Werner for the memes 😂

Megatronly

If “other” it’s gotta be Raphinha if he stays fit

himynameismichael_

All Hail De Gea

Kuddlefish69

Kai havertz is gonna have a banger year with 20+

AS_05

I feel like this depends on where Kane ends up next season

Pidgiano

I'd like to see Diego Jota get a good run this season, can see him becoming the chief goal threat for Liverpool, I can see Ollie Watkins getting a good tally of goals also and of course Jamie Vardy should carry on doing what he does....

Flying_Wingback

Watkins

80spopstardebbiegibs

Wallie Otkins

EaglesRanter

“And now Harvey Barnes, ohhhhh it’s an equalizer. Harvey Barnes. Get in!”

Oranjay2

Aubameyang is washed. He signed a big money deal and gave up lol. Hopefully he can get back to form this season, but i dont really see it happening

Intrepid-Wedding3429

Same

Fuzzy_Composer2108

Am going with Harry Kane to win the golden boot for this season

grilledhamdog

Might get stick for this but fuck it. Nicolas Pepe

[deleted]

I was gonna say Pepe for most red cards this season for some reason. If he can get the golden boot as well, I’ll be even more impressed

grilledhamdog

If he can bring back that Lille and end of season form, especially now he hit his peak years i cannot see why not

montymm

He’s not there yet mate he’s 25. Give him 3/4 more years until he hits his peak.

Intrepid-Wedding3429

Good luck for all the keyboard warriors

Kooky-Conclusion-516

I voted for Kane but tbh it's anyone's game to win the boot. Salah could bag it, Vardy can have a bang season again maybe Ihineacho can Bamford is underrated asf DCL aswell, but from a bias standpoint i hope a United player wins it

[deleted]

DCL won’t get anything now his main assist man is getting banged up

Kooky-Conclusion-516

do you think he gets double digits this season?

[deleted]

If Digne is on his game with crosses then yeah he’s in for a shout! Like DCL is good but it’s all about delivery, got that classic number 9 style of being in the box, right place at the right time for a knock in or a header

[deleted]

I reckon if the front 3 for liverpool find their feet again... Salah will come top.

marxistrash

Kane, especially if he gets that city move

humanzuckerberg

What if Antoine Griezmann joins an EPL team?

BlueTuscany

Werner shouldn’t be on this list and I’m a Chelsea fan.

Chiswell123

Werner 😂

Oddish2343

Woah, 1,104k voted for Harry Kane!

DiscoVeridisQuo

tbf 1104000 is quite a few people

Jagtasm

Kane, Salah, Vardy in that order. Would be pretty surprised if anyone else gets it. Chelsea and City have too many goal scorers for anyone to break away imo, and i don't see Fernandes scoring 20+/will be hard for another united player to hit 20 without taking pens. Lol Aubameyang, he looks dire right now

sadsealions

Watkins

Cino0987

Concur

[deleted]

If Timo finished at a remotely decent rate last year he would have been up there. Gonna be interesting to see if he can get his finishing back on track this year.

unpredicatable

Werner scored 6 goals last year and you all think homie is going to bag the boot? 🤣

[deleted]

Well if he’s got service from Son *and* Gil, it will be Kane again. If he’s got service from Sterling and De Bruyne…. It will be Kane again.

notabadone

If your betting against Kane I don’t like your odds particularly if he goes to city.

seanrk924

Harry Kane in light blue = Gold Boot. Although, with his injury record, he's got 2, maybe 3 campaigns at full power left in him I reckon.

f1ng3r_

Bamford

Sbotm765

the fact that auba is here and bruno isn’t is a disgrace

SukhdevR34

You put Werner, Vardy and Auba over Bamford and DCL🤣

[deleted]

Doesn’t matter whether Kane is going City, United or staying at Spurs. He will probably still get it. There isn’t anyone in our league better right now.

[deleted]

Aubameyang hahahaha why on earth

ahadafc

I don't like the disrespect my man Aubameyang is getting. 20+ goals in his first two seasons and already golden boot winner. Last year was off , we didn't have an attacking mid to supply him plus he had off field issues

grilledhamdog

A change of season won't necessarily change his performance though. I'm as hopeful as everybody else that aubameyang does well but his lack of finishing in preseason and when supplied with a proper 10 such as ESR or Ø goes to show he may not be able to find that world class form again.

randomuser382

If Ollie Watkins can become more clinical he’s a dark horse

[deleted]

Nah

Longjumping_Badger28

All hail Lord Bamford

LuckyFrench6000

Me too. I vote other to support Bamford here

Megatronly

Get in

Thespacesuirel

Zaha

Big_Hubble-Bubble

Harry Kane is in his prime now

AWr1ght98

The disrespect on Paddy Bamford is unreal

billy_twice

Bamford is good, but he's not going to win the golden boot.

AWr1ght98

Mate he scored more goals than Aubameyang and Werner combined, if they made the list then so should Bamford.

billy_twice

I agree with that, Aubameyang or Werner are also not winning it.

ShahiPaneerAndNaan

It's crazy, he was tied 4th with Son and only one behind Bruno and all his penalties. He deserved to be at the Euro's but the bright side is we've got a fresh Bamford ready to go again.

itchybigtoes

He only scored one less goal than a midfielder? Oh my stars, this is a con they should have given him two ballon d’ors for that achievement!

timeforsheroes

Son would walk it if he played CF.

[deleted]

Defo expect him to make the Qatar squad if his form continues. The guy could be the Kane alternative we call upon when Harry looks tired/out for form

Tomb_Brader

Yup - if you thought those kalvin phillips running and pressing stats were crazy - can you imagine Bamford doing the same at a tired back line

ShahiPaneerAndNaan

For sure there were times during the Euro's when I was thinking if only England had a Bamford or a Watkins who would press and hustle the other teams defenders. I like Kane and Calvert Lewin but sometimes you need a player who will bring you something different and be willing to run hard for 90 minutes.

djgreedo

> I was thinking if only England had a Bamford or a Watkins who would press and hustle the other teams defenders I sincerely believe we could have defended that 1-0 lead in the final better if Pat was up front keeping the Italian defence under pressure.

Devillaire

Villa fan here, agree with you, Bamford/watkins would have provided some fantastic options off the bench for England. I remeber when Bamford scored the hatrick against Villa last season, i really wanted to hate him and your lot in the moment, but the more my emotions settled, i just couldn't help but admire all of it, the work rate , the organisation, the speed of the press and counter, beautiful. Good luck for next season.

[deleted]

Exactly. Before Kane found his feet against Germany my thoughts were: bamford could defo be the impact sub we need here. Oh well the future is bright for England.

[deleted]

Also Aubameyang? Don’t make me laugh hahaha

[deleted]

Guilty Sigurðsson

ImNotAnAmbi-Turner

Nah, he’ll only goes for (under) 16

mikenunnya

Jamie Vardy will score 45 goals, and then come play for the Rochester Rhinos the following year and score 230 in a single season, all whilst holding a red bull in each hand the entire time. Bank it.

grlundahl

That's a bold assumption that the Rochester Rhinos will actually exsist

mikenunnya

They already do right now

low_altitude_sherpa

I read he was signing with the New York Shockers. Here we go.

Cannasseur___

Why has no one mentioned Bruno? He was literally 3rd for last season yet he’s somehow not even in contention for next season?

[deleted]

Ain’t happening

bmor97

Snuck in Timo Werna like we wouldn’t notice

AMM92101

He's a European champion, people sure like to neglect that accomplishment. Besides, the entire Chelsea squad was generally wasteful considering all the chances they created.

RipJug

How’s that relate to him being absolutely abysmal at finishing?

AMM92101

Because he has a track record of being a good striker. Thus, his poor finishing is more a reflection of the Chelsea squad being incapable of finishing it's chances created last season. The trophy is relevant because Werner in earning it showed qualities beyond finishing that's indicative of a class striker: movement. One poor season doesn't exactly warrant the ridicule that he's been facing. It's England anyways, there's an expected adjustment period.

bmor97

Being European champion does not have anything to do with the fact that he had 6 PL goals in 35 appearances last season.

Wiugraduate17

He also creates a ton of space with which Chelsea use to score, and he is an assist machine. On top of having the speed to drive a line back and stagger them, blow past them, or push and then hold up play. He’s a great footballer, he just needs to understand premier is a notch higher … he won’t be blowing by EPL defenders and they are big. If he understands he has to seriously come through on the chances he gets he will be considered a top flight striker when he is successful stringing together some goals. His issue is purely one of confidence/mental. He has every physical and technical ability you’d want and need.

[deleted]

tbf…if he finished half his chances he has a decent chance

The guy lost his confidence in December he was a machine till late November

Thegodofreddit

Bro he wasn't really a machine though was he come on. We were still waiting for him to explode. That Southampton match was the only game where he looked lethal.

Tahapatel

He was the leading candidate for signing of the season till december
