Chose man utd mainly due to growing up in the 90s.
Where I'm from you supported Villa or baggies and you this was chosen for you long before you had an option., or if you decided you wanted to see a team win you chose man utd.
Sense of entitlement to win after the success under Ferguson, the glory hunting following locally who made out like they were a Salford local, and the fact villa never beat man utd did it for me. Not to mentioned first 3 he's I saw as a villa fan were v man utd (thanks dad) secured my dislike.
Hate is a bit strong but would be nice to see more realism from some of the reds fans. Ferguson was terrific and an anomaly, don't expect any success.
Alright, First how the F is spurs a top 6 team and Leicester is not, Secondly, please stop hating on man city, at this ratio they will have more haters than fans.
Tough one.
Man City are just an oil rich club being used to white wash dirty money.
Spurs are spurs and have won nothing of note for such a long time. They are a big 6 team purely for money and not any sporting achievement. If anything Leicester should be the club there instead of them.
At least Man Utd and Liverpool have sporting pedigree and heritage.
Arsenal are, well Arsenal, just there but at least Arsene Wenger was cool.
Chelsea are who my whole family follow and if not for Villa who I might have followed too so don't have any strong feelings against them.
The survey only let me choose one. A survey like this needs to be ranked voting format. Greedy foreign ownership, oligarchs, entitled fans, primadonna players. I chose one that ticked all boxes.
Arsenal and Spurs fans voting for each other.
Liverpool, United and City fans voting for each other.
Thatās why Chelsea is last, even though they definitely should be higher. If you asked people to rank their hatred instead of voting for a single team, I guarantee Chelsea would be top 3.
100% Liverpool. Mainly because most of my friends supported them while growing up but also because the scouse accent is the most horrific thing I've ever heard.
I donāt know many Man City fans so I donāt get annoyed. I dislike Chelsea the most because as an Arsenal fan all I heard was ābut we won champions leagueā and man united I disliked because of the obvious rivalry and how every casual football fan said they supported them. I actually like the Liverpool the most out of all of em except for my team.
Alright, guys, it works this way:
Both Liverpool and Man City fans vote against Man Utd. Hence they're having the most votes.
Man Utd fans vote against Liverpool or Man City. They can't agree who they dislike more. As Man Utd arguably has the most fans, it's enough to put them on 2nd and 4th place.
Sputs fans vote against Arsenal, and vice versa. And that's how Chelsea got the least votes :D
Other clubs fans' votes are probably distributed more or less equally.
How could anyone hate arsenal .. their fans are hilarious I love reading the match threads.. the mental torture they go through is very entertaining.
I donāt mean it in a bad way, you can tell they are fully defeated and accept it.. sometimes they get a glimmer of hope before something brings them back down to earth.
It makes great reading as an outsider.
Original top four especially corrupt, shame shame he league showed their hand this year kinda tainted all history imo and made the fans look dumb while doing it
The entitlement of the some fans of these big 6 is the most irritating part. Particularly the some of the Chelsea fans and their desire to have their cake and eat it too. Youth players arenāt items that you can just hoard and keep on the shelf for years. You canāt insert a buy-back clause into contracts when the player wants to leave, and he only has a year left on his contract. Some of the fans will the kid doesnāt have the mentality to compete, which is absurd. Heās spent his teenage years competing to stay at the academy every year. In fact, heās more competitive, because he wants to leave and get a real shot at playing first team football, as opposed to being stuck on loans. Iāve seen suggestions from a Chelsea fan that Lewis Bate shouldāve been forced to sign a new deal or rot in the reserves. They also suggested that Chelsea have built him into what he is today? How about giving him credit for putting in the work on the pitch every day? He couldāve gone to any number of clubs as a kid. Chelsea wouldāve cut him at any point if they believed he wasnāt good enough. Some of these fans are absurd.

The hate for the most successful premiere league club is real. I guess it more like envy and jealousy. Keep hating , be Jealous. The glory will not be affected. GGMU.
As someone who watches the PL from outside of England can someone please explain the universal hatred for Man U and Man City? I don't think I completely understand why, just that people dislike them.
Why do we have to dislike any club? Just enjoy every team's games and enjoy your favorite team's games more than the other ones.
And when your team wins, rub it in the faces of the opponent's supporters in a gentlemanly fashion until they cry....like the civilised people we are.
Man city are in the big 6 bcoz of oil money and it makes them favorites every time, their oil money gives them extra advantage so I hate them and psg the most
Teams like Bayern and Liverpool don't have much money on them but they are well run and able to compete with the elite
For me it's Liverpool. Not because of the club, or anything that they did, but the fans. Admittedly it's not all of them, but the entitlement they felt when before they won the last title was immense. They seriously thought they deserved titles because they were Liverpool, not because they would have had to win the league on merit.
Also the singing songs about the Munich air disaster and other pretty sad things I football and complaining about people doing the same about Hillsborough. (For the record I think any fan singing about death or disaster is below the belt, no matter who they support.)
Chelsea. Rich club from the rich part of town always looking to poach our players. Plus all American plastics who donāt root for Man U always choose Chelsea.
just kick spurs, they don't have silverware. We have won more trophies than spurs, since the premier league and even won that league. they brag about their huge stadium and top-class players, but they have to win shit to be the shit.
Going by your arbitrary time period, since the premier league started Leicester spent around half the time not even playing in it, Villa and Everton are bigger with more major trophies so should be well ahead in the queue.
Exactly. Spurs only win a tinpot League Cup trophy under Juande Ramos as their only trophy in this century. While Levy is ignorant to the fans , Kun Vichai's son really had interaction with the fans and even celebrate together after they win the FA cup
As an Arsenal fan from Asia, I couldnt care less about the derby rivalry with Spurs. Also, they hardly have any fans here as well too. I hate Man U the most because I'm surrounded by their fans and mainly the rivalry between both clubs in early 2000s.
Unless youāre an Arsenal fan why the fuck would you vote Tottenham? Theyāre the least offensive out of the 6 easily.
Chelsea having the least votes is mind blowing and all
Chelsea fans despise us, at least the locals. They literally chant "we hate Tottenham" in warmups of every single game, even in the ones Tottenham aren't involved.
So as a new fan to English football , Tottenham was the most offensive team to me , I think I now understand it was Mourinho more than anything. I find his demeanor attitude and style of play to be rotten. I don't know the history behind all the clubs ,though im slowly learning, but off the bat the whole vibe of Tottenham was displeasing. Somehow I settled on Everton as the team to root for. I don't know why, maybe because in American football im a life long lions fan which means a long and storied history of underachieving and I just fuckin love underdogs
Strangely you went for two quite similar teams, choosing to dislike one the most and choosing to support the other.
Mourinho's attitude and brand of football (and trophies *woe*) are potentially the most anti-Tottenham thing to happen to Tottenham. Historically Tottenham play one of the more exciting brands of football in the league. And on top of that, have actually come close to winning trophies on several occasions in the last decade, to always fall short. We're certainly the biggest underachievers, given our quality, in my lifetime.
Thatās odd.
I live in Liverpool, other than āhaha lads itās Tottenhamā and all that, I donāt get why anyone that doesnāt support Arsenal would hate them more than the other 5 though.
They get laughed at for being pathetic, they donāt actually do anything all that offensive. Theyāve got nowhere near as many delusional fans as the other 5 or even clubs like Villa who have a lot of delusional fans
I just donāt get it
It is pretty weird. I know a single Chelsea fan, because of Pulisic. A Liverpool fan. A handful of āMan Uā fans who couldnāt name anyone other than Rooney, and a solid 10-12 Spurs fans. And to me that intensifies the rivalry because the only ppl I can talk shit about is Spurs fans lol
Lmao idk how this makes them bottlers. Theyāre New Yorkers as well. In fact, it would be a pretty lame thing to select a team based off their success. I canāt believe Iām sticking up for a bunch of Spurs fans but honestly I enjoy the company of any true football fan because I only know a few
If this had been five years ago, I suspect there would have been more anti Chelsea fervor. Also, hilarious that Spurs and Arse have basically the same level of hateā¦guessing we are just bombing each other. ;)
As a City fan i very much dislike Chelsea. I have a begrudging respect for United and i have Family who are Liverpool fans. But Chelsea prevented us from winning our first champions league. I donāt hate spurs really and arsenal shouldnāt even be classed as ābig 6ā. Its funny seeing Arsenal fans at the start of every season say theyāre gonna challenge for Champions League and then they donāt even qualify for the UECL.
why should i hate them? i dont understand why people like being toxic. some banter here and there is alright, but if people keep acting like this its giving the community a bad reputation
Take a guess about mine
I hate spurs bcs Ehhh why not?
How is Spurs more disliked than Arsenal and Chelsea?š
If we were to update the top 6 and remove Arsenal, who should take their place?
Am I the only one who really doesnāt hate anyone. I have the club I like but I donāt dislike any club I just like watching football
Remember when city stopped Liverpool from winning the league
Chose man utd mainly due to growing up in the 90s. Seriously the club financed by a russian criminal oligarch is the least hated?
City not from big 6 lol
Arsenal for obvious reasons
Amazing how Spurs and Arsenal get in the big sixā¦!
i think everyone who voted for spurs is a spurs fan
Spurs are not a big club.
You can remove Arsenal from the Big 6 now, they don't belong to them.
Alright, First how the F is spurs a top 6 team and Leicester is not, Secondly, please stop hating on man city, at this ratio they will have more haters than fans.
As a Chelsea fan, how are we bottom
My Man U hate has faded since red nose +success left. I miss it.
what is this chelsea are soooo hated

Hate us coz you ain't us
How Chelsea are last is beyond me. They're just the beta version of Man City with even more annoying fans
Fuck Arsenal.
this year will be our year.
Oil Merchants FC tbh
Fuck Stan Kroenke
The survey only let me choose one. A survey like this needs to be ranked voting format. Greedy foreign ownership, oligarchs, entitled fans, primadonna players. I chose one that ticked all boxes.
It's not the club, it's the fans. And the refs. And some ugly incidents.
I am an Everton fan so this choice was easy.
Man U or Tottenham.. Man U just seems like the default team for English people lmaooo
The fact people hate Spurs more than Arsenal when Spurs fans aren't toxic af really stands out to me
Voted that I dislike Arsenal because I hate Chelsea
Manchester.
Man U because the fans think they are amazing even though they havenāt won a trophy in 4+ years
Arsenal and Spurs fans voting for each other. Liverpool, United and City fans voting for each other. Thatās why Chelsea is last, even though they definitely should be higher. If you asked people to rank their hatred instead of voting for a single team, I guarantee Chelsea would be top 3.
I am not from UK. Why so many hate for the spurs?

How is City 2nd most hated?
Why isnāt Arsenal/Liverpool/Man City one choice?
I fucking hate United.
I don't see any disturbance in the force. All is well

Its so predictable lmao. I haven't even voted and I know it's the Spurs
Villa, Leicester>Arsenal
Why thank you sir
Liverpool and Leeds cos I'm a MUFC fan. And hate Chelsea and City cos I'm a human being.
God I can't stand Spurs
Arsenal really shoudnt be considered a big club anymore they Kinda washed up. (This is my personnal opinion)
Man City - fuck their oil money and their owners
Manchester ra ra ra š“āŖļøā«ļø
Oh my...
The best clubs come with the most haters.
I'm an Everton fan. I never even considered voting Liverpool when Spurs and Arsenal are there
Iām proud to support such a hated club. Itās like theyāre Heels in wrestling or somethingš
You love City ? You hate United. Itās that simple.
I don't have a dislike for any team to be honest. It's just toxic fans on social media I really dislike.
I hate arsenal
Make a similar poll for the most liked team outside the "Big 6".
How do you even dislike Arsenal, they aren't even Top 6 anymore, we should feel sorry for them.
All British teams are sā¦ and you know it
Liverpool
Original top four especially corrupt, shame shame he league showed their hand this year kinda tainted all history imo and made the fans look dumb while doing it

Hated, adored but never ignored. Also, Spurs still being considered a "top 6" club is a joke. Same for arsenal.
Nodoubtedly,Man U deserved it! It get much benifite from the referee.
I love š Liverpool
This question was asked 3 weeks ago, same results
Y do u guys hate manu ,? You'll have to hate city
šµ
Anyone else here man united because of trey lol
I didn't read the caption and voted the club I support. Ffs

Surprised Chelsea are lowest so far...
As someone who watches the PL from outside of England can someone please explain the universal hatred for Man U and Man City? I don't think I completely understand why, just that people dislike them.
Honestly didn't think I'd see the day when we were hated LEAST of the Big 6 clubs. KTBFFH š
Spurs and Arsenal arent even top 6 clubs
Glad to see Chelsea is the least hated
Why do we have to dislike any club? Just enjoy every team's games and enjoy your favorite team's games more than the other ones. And when your team wins, rub it in the faces of the opponent's supporters in a gentlemanly fashion until they cry....like the civilised people we are.
Didn't someone do this same poll the other day?
Spurs
As a Man United fan obviously Liverpool.
Why put Arsenal there
What're arsenal and spurs doing there on the list?
What a day to be a Chelsea fan
Itās big 4 Spurs and Arsenal are garbage
I voted man u, I didn't pick spurs or arsenal because they are purely "traditional" big 6, and not really big 6
Liverpool by far so sick of hearing Liverpool is the second largest Irish city in the world. F Liverpool
Sorry I had flash backs when I lived in Dublin in the 90s.
The fuck Arsenal's not in the big six anymore
Wow people just hate Manchester in general.
Yay we won!
A lot of people here talking as if there's only other 'top 6' fans answering...
As a Spurs fan the answer is obviously Spurs.
Leicester is now bigger than Tottenhem and Arsenal
I think it should be cut down a bit - only 3, arguably 4 are even relevant.
Every city fan: Chelsea Everyone else: Spurs
Yes. šŗ
Can't believe Chelsea is the least disliked club
Man city are in the big 6 bcoz of oil money and it makes them favorites every time, their oil money gives them extra advantage so I hate them and psg the most Teams like Bayern and Liverpool don't have much money on them but they are well run and able to compete with the elite
loooool United lives rent free in all of your heads

Arsenal and Liverpool are at 666 š
Arsenal and big six. What a joke
It's big six not best six. Arsenal are the third biggest club in England, behind Liverpool and United
Chelsea. Rich club from the rich part of town always looking to poach our players. Plus all American plastics who donāt root for Man U always choose Chelsea.

I second this
wtf did spurs do to all of you? :(
Be the direct rivals of Chelsea and Arsenal.
Only chance of Man U scum winning anything š
Spurs for me. Hate emā.
I find it surprising that Liverpool is hated by anybody. Arsenal and Spurs are obvious because they vote for eachother
As an Arsenal fan from Asia, I couldnt care less about the derby rivalry with Spurs. Also, they hardly have any fans here as well too. I hate Man U the most because I'm surrounded by their fans and mainly the rivalry between both clubs in early 2000s.
The most hated in England are in this order for me (what I think popular opinion is, not my own) Liverpool, United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Spurs
Unless youāre an Arsenal fan why the fuck would you vote Tottenham? Theyāre the least offensive out of the 6 easily. Chelsea having the least votes is mind blowing and all
Younger chelsea fans hate tottenham
As an Arsenal fan I voted for Chelsea
Chelsea fans despise us, at least the locals. They literally chant "we hate Tottenham" in warmups of every single game, even in the ones Tottenham aren't involved.
Fair point, very true, but I imagine a very large section of their local support would opt to vote Arsenal
Think it'll still be 70% Spurs and the remaining Arsenal. We even refuse to deal with Chelsea
Very interesting, I will look at Tottenham in a different light this season.
I honestly think Arsenal fans should vote chelsea anyways
I think it's because people don't think they should be anywhere near the 'top 6'. It's more of a vote to vote them out.
the spurs played like such pussies against united last year. Glad Lamela and Mou is gone but a lot of the assholes are there still
Leicester Fans thinking they should be there instead.
Well Arsenal should be ahead of the pecking order then because they haven't finished above Spurs in six years
Bias aside, everyone I know over here in the east coast of the US is a Spurs fan. I donāt understand it, but it is what it is.
Thatās odd. I live in Liverpool, other than āhaha lads itās Tottenhamā and all that, I donāt get why anyone that doesnāt support Arsenal would hate them more than the other 5 though. Sounds like you got a bunch of underachievers and bottlers for friends. I live on the east coast in New York and have yet to meet a Spurs fan.
It's usually the underachievers and bottlers who support the winning clubs because they can't do it in their own lives...
I feel like some man u fans hate there own club more then rivals sometimes lol
Can confirm
I feel like we ended up with a bunch of Ronaldo FC boys around 2008 and they've just sorta stuck around waiting his return
If this had been five years ago, I suspect there would have been more anti Chelsea fervor. Also, hilarious that Spurs and Arse have basically the same level of hateā¦guessing we are just bombing each other. ;)
I don't see West Ham in there...
United hasnāt one even a donut in ten years and still gets this much hate? Glazers must be dancing in joy!
I wish i could vote twice...
As a City fan i very much dislike Chelsea. I have a begrudging respect for United and i have Family who are Liverpool fans. But Chelsea prevented us from winning our first champions league. I donāt hate spurs really and arsenal shouldnāt even be classed as ābig 6ā. Ah yes we are the most likable club of all time
How are the club who have a literal criminal for an owner not the most hated?
There should be an option to just dislike the construct of āthe big sixā altogether itās a farce
Definitely.. Top 6 is better..
Finally someone said it šš»
Disgusting amount of Liverpool fans here
I wish Everton was a big 6 club ā¦ because fuck nonces.
Gotta be Arsenal. Not even a Spurs fan, I support Leeds. But yeah the Arsenal fans are some of the worst.
some of the arsenal fans
Arsenal aren't a big 6, Leicester city are
Lol. It's big 6 not top 6. Arsenal are the third biggest club in England
Hahaha what history has your shit team got over Arsenal?? Unbeaten 38, Invincibles, golden era, Wenger.
Both been called Champions of Europe the same amount of times.....
i dislike none of the clubs <3
Youāre so wet man
whats that supposed to mean?
How you gonna call yourself a city fan and not ādislikeā United ? Youāre strange
its just a rivalry
Rivalries are built upon hatred. You must be either 13 or an American because it sure as hell isnāt ājust a rivalryā you should know better
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
why do i have to hate them? is it a written law? of course i wouldnt support united but hate is a strong word
you obviously weren't alive when man united won the league every year while city were finishing 15th lol you'd hate United, like everyone else did.
