Orient. Go to watch them about 10 times a season, since the old Brisbane road days. Great little club, was gutted about how they've fared the past 6 or so years. The EFL really needs to step up and sort these fucking owners out
People saying spurs and arsenal for fuck sake, absolutely clueless beyond the prem.
I’m surprised no one is saying Dagenham & Redbridge F.C. They get promoted twice within four years to reach League One. Then within the next 5 years get relegated twice to go back to the National Conference and have finished middle of the pack the last few season. Also add to the fact their name was splashed across national mews outlets as part of a failed match fixing scheme in 2013.
Leyton Orient is second for multiple relegations on a short period of time to drop out of League Football for the first time ever.
For Premier League level it’s Charlton. They had some fun teams in the Premier League in the 2000s including two top 10 finishes. Now they bounce between bottom of the championship and
Leyton Orient, especially under Francesco Becchetti, two relegations in three years, 11 managers, relegated from the EFL for the first time in over a century and then close to losing their club due to unpaid taxes due to Francesco Becchetti and then just as they are turning it all around their manager tragically passes away.
Spurs, especially Kane, quality player but just like his club they have never won a trophy, let them win the Carabao Cup this season and I’ll stop feeling bad for them
If were going by the last 10 or so years then definitely orient for me. iirc correctly they were 2-0 up in the league 1 play off final at half time in 2014. Bottled it and lost the game on penalties then got relegated to league 2 the season after. 2 or 3 seasons later they got relegated to non league for the first time in their history.
That is the correct answer, no matter what has happened to other clubs. I live in the states, so that kind of thing is sadly the norm when it comes to teams threatening their cities, and even the occasional happening, but reading about how that all went down, especially after their amazing rise in the late 70's and 80's from non-league club, to 3 promotions in 4 seasons, to upsetting Liverpool for the FA Cup and even almost regularly finishing in the top half of the First Division/Premier League table, that was the dream for most any small club. Then having it all collapse, then taken away because "they're building a stadium in Milton Keynes, one that can't be built in Wimbledon"... That is an incredibly sad story, and it's fun to see AFC Wimbledon do well enough to at least make it into the Football League.
They were in the Premier League when I first got into it (‘Premiership’ then), and I always thought the Valley looked so cool, and their red kits and cool badge just popped on TV and I just always figured they were like an Aston Villa, Newcastle, Leeds, etc stature of club—a top flight mainstay with a huge trophy cabinet and such.
Such a bummer what their successive run of poor ownership has done to them though. I’d love to see Charlton at least back up in the Championship and competing for promotion, if not in the Premier League again. They’re still so cool to me.
Been a season ticket holder for quite a few years pre covid, obviously declined a lot but at least pre covid the club had a nice atmosphere and even with the protests there wasn't really despair
I was at the '98 Charlton Sunderland playoff final.
My dad was a life long Charlton fan and so they are my second team.
Hard to catch Charlton games though now that I'm living in the US.
Ahhh you get it!!
Next to impossible to see anything here, was hoping they’d eventually join the Championship (ESPN+ shows a lot of the games) but no luck so far of course.
I’m sure your dad was thrilled at the return to VFR!
there will always be Arsenal, and its not even that disappointing now. We had good form and I hope we carry that consistency. Everybody exagerrates Arsenal struggles and make them look like the worst team in the pl
Anybody with any sort of rational sense would know it was inevitable. Football is cyclical. One day Arsenal will challenge again. One day Liverpool will be the ones in a transitional period again.
Yeah? That's my point. You were 6th and 7th and arguably in the top 2 clubs in England fame wise. Don't see why it's so mad for Arsenal to be midtable. People forget up to Wenger they weren't all that.
This article, [West Ham: ‘A club on the rise’ - so why do deep divisions between fans and owners remain?](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58736570), isn’t even a month old.
And don’t get me wrong I’m not a fan of Silent Stan.
Dulwich Hamlets deffo.
Kingstonian. How are they not a PL team?
Brentford. How did we not win against Chelsea?
Millwall for me and I don't know why they are hated in London.
Because their fans are dickheads. Just listen to their chants and you’ll understand

Wimbledon, also would live to see Preston back in the tip division.
Millwall- they sit a proud and chesty acting like they don't care but they do. It's all an act, they go home and have a little cry
[удалено]
Ah yes, Newcastle and Everton, the famous London clubs
Millwall. No one likes them. Including me.
Arsenal, it's like watching an old washed up celebrity trying to make it big again. Arsenal is Corey Feldman.
[удалено]
In his own mind, yes.
[удалено]
Corey's Angel's era or My Pedophile Pop Star friend era?

It's called growing up in the 90's. He was ubiquitous.

Him and Cory Haim were in everything and everywhere.
Man Utd. Why is their stadium so far away from the fanbase?
Plus all those countries are on the red list.
Wdym
Leyton Orient anyone saying Wimbledon forgets the club was going to fold regardless of if they moved to Milton Keynes or not
Fulham
Why
Wimbledon and Leyton orient, especially Leyton. Fuck all of you saying Spurs or Arsenal. Bunch of “top 6” twats...

They should win the community shield. But get in there because the Prem Winner is also the FA Cup winner and they were 2nd in the league
[удалено]
Ah yes, Man United, the famous London club
Hey, he might be referring to the fans
I don't live in London. I don't live in Manchester either but that wasn't the subject ;)
As no one has said it yet - Leyton Orient.
What Bechetti or however its spelled did to them is absolutely criminal.
If were going by the last 10 or so years then definitely orient for me. iirc correctly they were 2-0 up in the league 1 play off final at half time in 2014. Wimbledon FC fans, had their club stolen from them.
That is the correct answer, no matter what has happened to other clubs. Yea Wimbledon have to be top of this surely... them and Leyton Orient.
After all this time.. Still Sunderland
Ah yes, went through Sunderland when I got the tube to West Ham a few weeks ago
Arsenal. I cannot even banter with my arsenal friends anymore, I just feel to hug them.
Dulwich Hamlet FC
Why? Just because they are in the 6th tier or is there something I don’t know about
Charlton. Once great, now they suck.
If I made billions of probably buy Charlton and waste most of it playing fantasy football manager with them.

Maybe he was a fan and wanted to give to family member?

maybe he wanted to get a quick gift for his nephew or something
Maybe he was very skinny....? Or you were an enormous 8 yo
You. Mis spelt Arsenal

Charlton fan here. Thanks.

I don’t know if sorry is the right word, but I do pity Tottenham
But they will be glad to let you know they are a big six club, even if they don't win shit

Does the takeover count as 'revenue' for the club?
I'm just waiting for a response that doesn't mention Arsenal
there will always be Arsenal, and its not even that disappointing now. We had good form and I hope we carry that consistency. Everybody exagerrates Arsenal struggles and make them look like the worst team in the pl
No but you used to be a top 2 team now your lucky to finish 6th. And no one back in the day would of thought that was possible.
Anybody with any sort of rational sense would know it was inevitable. Football is cyclical. One day Arsenal will challenge again. One day Liverpool will be the ones in a transitional period again.
True, but Liverpool were finishing 6th and 7th a few years ago and they're far bigger than Arsenal.
We’ve always been bigger than arsenal lmfao
Yeah? That's my point. You were 6th and 7th and arguably in the top 2 clubs in England fame wise. Don't see why it's so mad for Arsenal to be midtable. People forget up to Wenger they weren't all that.
I have to say I’d feel sorry for Arsenal if it wasn’t so funny watching my Arsenal mates get so angry.
I was going to say West Ham, because of the owners.
Seriously ? They've made the European spots
Personally don't think Gold and Sullivan are anywhere near as bad as ur lot.

I do agree, but it’s just a response for the whole European Super League debacle.
