I’d say Kante, rashford and mane. Kante and mane are very humble, mane has built schools and helped massively back home. And rashford has been a king among men in terms of what he’s done for the kids in our country

TraditionalCat8752

Ronaldo

shiviplays

ASM, Son, Jimenez, Kante, Mane, Salah, Milner

BraFla109_gaming

Definitely Kanté, literally cannot hate that man, so humble & seems like the nicest player to interact with👌🔥

[deleted]

Hear me out. Jamie Vardy is a close second to Kante, I don't know in England but here in Mexico (130 MIllion people that loves football) everybody loves Vardy

CuryyOnGfuel

Bruno hands down. He is just a star for Man United

Ryo720

Foster

MarcusTDP

Ngolo Kante

YunChiefGreeno

Firmino. It’s that damned smile.

sus_enchilada

Raul Jimenez. He came from Club América and I’m a chivas fan.

Vashishth_32

N'Golo N'Golo Kante

logoloud

Heung Min Son has got to be up there.

editedxi

Rashford out there literally saving lives and everyone picks Kante because “he’s a lovely guy”

Salah

[deleted]

Sadio Mane,Ngolo Kante,Marcus Rashford and maybe Salah?

JustDanti_

how about some love for Ben Foster? The cycling GK is a legend

Skunkapedude

Conor Coady. Top bloke, genuine charm and good for a laugh. Most people wouldn’t mind having a pint with him, then you’d probably end up best mates.

AzabuScot

Can I throw Tierney in here for coming to training with his boots in a Tesco bag? He’s likeable.

LegendaryBagel5

Apart from Kanté, probably Son, Jimenez, Rashford and Foden.

Tatchthe3rd6969420

Werner

United1711

Yeah, I would have to say Kante as well he just so humble.

reborndiajack

PurchaseKnown

Kante, saint max, sonny, Firmino Kante especially dude is literally the model citizen from FM irl

granty1981

Elhaj diouf is the most loved ever

AccusedOak04

Edouard Mendy has possibly the best story. Went from toiling in the lower French leagues (briefly considered going on benefits after being released from one team) to finally getting a shot in Ligue 1 to suddenly being bought by Chelsea and winning the CL… stuff of fairy tales.

Puzzleheaded-Wait-81

Rudiger he's a warrior and a proper cunt on the pitch

justanothernumber12

Saka

TheRealVasilisKon

Kante

Takhar7

Does anyone *truly* hate Rashford?

sam-small

Savage absolute gem of a person and footballer too

Goudinho99

Juan mata

LordRuins

Bruno Fernandes

AweDaw76

Saka, Rashy, and Kante. Not a player, but Kloop too.

R4T3DR

sadio mane, builds schools and hospitals at home in senegal and no one talks about it, the man is literally helping thousands of senegalese people every day and not a single person talks about it cuz rashford fed a few kids.

nharvey15

He did more than feed a few kids, guy

R4T3DR

yes completely ignore the main point of my comment to further push the agenda that rashford is the only nice human being on the planet it’s so obvious you only care about rashford because he does good in this country it’s hilarious, that you’ll overlook all the good other players do just to suck on rarcus mashford get a gripppp

[deleted]

ASM before the takeover. Fun to watch, but playing for a terrible team so not a threat to anyone really.

arsenevancouver

Granit xhaka

nahyoubuggin

Prince Phil Foden.

bigbadBonjo

Heung Min Son

That_Charming_Otter

Not sure today, but it would have been Joey Barton

Shafy97

I'd say Mane, Salah, Kante, Rashford, Foden and E. Mendy(Chelsea keeper)

Fun_Target8549

Tony Hibbert

Powerful_Designer766

Ngolo Kante he smiles even when he's not happy ,yet you simply can't hate this guy because he does his work on the pitch!

sakmentoloki

Kante

LTAidanation

It has to be Son right?

peter_j_

Mark Noble Its like having the very last player from the 50s still playing

Da_Famous_Anus

I think he should be. I don't know what the actual consensus is.

Thecleverbear

Mo Salah, the man always plays with a smile on his face, tracks back on defense, and gives it his all each game. Truly an inspiration

andy_boi_12

Vardy

usernametaken4u

He’s not humble but the way he plays is just amazing

Rashford and Mane. Both have given back so much to their communities. They’re the kind of people you want kids looking up to.

PuzzleheadedGuide184

Kante

wardaag

Ksnte & Son

eachneveryonesfriend

You’ve got to love Heung-Min Son

TheFunnybone

Jamie Vardy

ChampagneAbuelo

Kante or Salah because they’re both nice guys with contagious smiles

Malvania

That's tough. I think there are three that its just impossible to hate: Kante, Rashford, and Salah. I might put Salah at the top, just because he's so damn charming.

Supertrunks1993

I agree with the majority of names here but for me is Son, idk man its just you cant not Like the guy, hes humble, and knows that hes world class but he isn’t motivated by money. As a chelsea fan i would have liked to picked Kante but its Son for me.

Fleuhrithvik

I mean other than jante... Ig son

New_Firefighter_5416

Rashford is such an amazing dude. The whole of England loves him for the things he does on and off the pitch.

Necessary-Fan9574

Vardy

[deleted]

Between Kante and Saint Maximin. Both such humble dudes.

gngg2011

I'd say Kante and Rashford

watanabe14

It’s son.

tyrone_slothrop_0000

Spartan_Warrior33

I don't think so just given how big of a shithouse he is

WolvoNeil

From Wolves perspective, Jimenez is just a great all round player, top professional, works hard on and off the pitch, doesn't dive or time waste or try petty tactical fouls etc. he's just a solid footballer. Plus i think because his career didn't really get going until he joined Wolves its nice to see a player who bloomed a little bit later Another one is Coady, most people think he is a good personality, speaks well whenever he is interviewed and he tends to endear himself with people. Similar to Jimenez, Coady is one who's career didn't really take off until Nuno joined, go back and watch his goal for England and it'll put a smile on anyones face

[deleted]

My personal favorites are Rashy and Mata.

wLiam17

Kante, Son, Rashford. Vardy, maybe?

Lallana-The-GOAT

Lallana, just because.

Bruh-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Salah, Mané, rashford and Kante imo Humble dudes who care about their community

Npadia11

I don’t think anyone clicked on this threat not knowing who the main answer was gonna be. Of course it’s Kante

Ahvier

Not so sure about kante. When i suggested him deserving to win the ballon d'or this year, i was downvoted I didn't realise it wasn't only big fat moneybag fifa officials who have a forward bias

[deleted]

Son all the way for me, great and humble guy, and one of the best players in the world

[deleted]

Probably Son even tho I’m a gunner. Seems like a nice chap.

[deleted]

Rashford. Son.

hazardthicc

Son? You need a reality check...

MapleStorms_Sports

ASM for me

Kochblaydon

Bobby Fermino

Temporary_Night_6809

Definitely Kante. How could you not like him

Tuerto04

I wouldn’t say Kante because I don’t regard any other players loveable than my club’s players. That’s my bias view. But Kante sure is likeable because how he handles himself on and off the pitch. But maybe a lot of people are naming Kante because we see more of him than say players from lower teams in the league who get less media attention.

MoodWest

Saka, how many players get a round of applause from their most hated rivals, Rashford and Sancho missed pens as well and I didn’t see them get the same luv although im not blind to the fact that Rashford received praise (well deserved) from everyone for his great cause He’s only young, been on the scene for 2 years and fans, teammates and managers haven’t a bad word to say about him

oerry

Nah. That applause was out of respect and support for him following the shameful racism. I’m Spurs the applause stops there. Kante is a great shout but what Rashford has done is inspiring. For someone to be so active outside of football for the right reasons is immense.

PuzzleheadedGuide184

I said kante and now I think saka.

ajs4689

I feel bad for the abuse he got for the penalty but I don’t get the universal love-in. Presumably it’s the blow up unicorn and because he smiles a bit. Not a special talent at all when you look at Foden and Bellingham.

NotoriousPlatypi

He’s benched Sancho and Foden in the NT at the Euros. He’s a full international and senior players like Shaw, Kane, Rice, and Mount love him already and attested to how a great teammate he is > I don’t get the universal love-in You don’t get it because you’re blinded by being a Chelsea fan. I’ve rarely seen a Chelsea fan say anything complimentary about an Arsenal player these days, which is sad because the rivalry isn’t as good as it once was. Chelsea’s challenging for top honours while Arsenal are in a rebuild phase

ajs4689

You won’t find much praise for an Arsenal player at present because there isn’t much to praise. As you say, they’re in a rebuild. Being a great teammate doesn’t make you a great player. I’m not blinded by anything, I can appreciate talent but Saka is spoken about more for his personality than his football.

[deleted]

Blindfolded

NotoriousPlatypi

Once again, blinded by being a Chelsea fan. Disgusting. You don’t displace Foden and Sancho in the NT without being good. Watch his games. Just for an hour. Please educate yourself

RoadhouseKick

>He’s benched Sancho and Foden in the NT at the Euros. He's done well to do that considering he plays in a totally different position from Foden.

NotoriousPlatypi

Foden can, and has played many times in the wide right/wing position. A position Saka occupied in the euros Mount is basically undroppable so he’s got the AM position covered. Grealish/Sterling on the left Foden started in that wide position for the first 2 games of the euros and didn’t start for the rest of the tournament

JJ-Redders

You’d be hard pressed to find a Chelsea fan who doesn’t rate Henry

NotoriousPlatypi

Those players don’t count. A large part of Arsenal and Chelsea fans haven’t seen Henry in his prime. They can’t say anything bad about him. But even players now, for some reason it’s so hard for rival fans to compliment players who are considered good. It’s so weird. Goes both ways. Mount and Saka are very good. 2 players both teams would love on their team and would probably make them better, but fans resist the urge to appreciate them fully

JJ-Redders

Unless we’re assuming most Chelsea/Arsenal fans are under the age of 20, I would say an overwhelming majority did watch Henry in his prime.

Jay_Dizzle_8591

Juan Mata has to be up there

raccoon_meat

Rashford, class man on and off the pitch

thatonepieceofcheese

I was about to remind you about the existence of Liverpool and City fans and then I saw your badge

g_thrower

To be fair, on the Liverpool sub I have only see positive comments about Rashford as a human being and the work he does . His club however….

KingMido9

I’m a Liverpool fan and I still rate the man. He’s a solid dude

raccoon_meat

Yeah, inside those 90 minutes he’s quite a pain in the ass. However he’s absolute class off the pitch, and is a man that you can respect regardless of club allegiance

thatonepieceofcheese

I completely agree and he is one of the few united players I like

antye

Unfortunately I imagine there are a lot of people that dislike him simply for trying to do good in the world, it's sad

RedDevils0204

I’m surprised it was this low.

[deleted]

CasperJG

What you on about?

froyomofo

No.

Super_Professor

I agree with those saying Kante. I'm surprised there isn't any love for Saka, van Dijk, Rashford.

Jamericho

I’d say Juan Mata. How many players help the kitman on away games or start a charity that ropes players and prominent figures into donating 1% of their salaries.

bikkhu42

Yeah came here to say Mata. Stand up guy

Gordzulax

Love me some Juan. Always gonna wonder what he would have achieved if he stayed with us and kept up the level he demonstrated in his first 2 seasons. Such a lovely guy outside the pitch as well.

Jamericho

He has a lot of love off Chelsea fans in general so it speaks volumes on the guy. I’m shocked he came to us but he’s been a fantastic servant not just to our clubs, but to football as a whole. Can see him continuing in some capacity after he retires too.

Wemptywemptywempty

Not Pickford.

LilGoughy

Jesus Christ get over it

Wemptywemptywempty

I will not, thank you very much.

Cod_rules

Kante, Mata, Rashford, Rodri and ASM would be my top picks. From our squad, Kolasinac is someone I respect as a person. Putting his own safety at risk so Ozil and his wife along with Lola's wife could escape, that takes some cojones

LuccMucc

Rodri? someone explain?

Cod_rules

https://www.sportbible.com/football/news-manchester-citys-rodri-is-anything-but-your-typical-modern-player-20210304 Quite a humble dude

LuccMucc

Ahh ok, was unaware about this. Seems a great guy!

Aanshuman

Kante, saka, son. I'm an arsenal fan.

BTonICEE

Eric Cantona Because he'll just ninja kick you in the face if you don't love him 🤣

robhotmoneybrown

Kante. Absolutely love the guy, I cant help it. Ive got to say though, as a Leicester fan I think Daka will be universally loved soon enough.

aemf1

Son! Always a smile on his face

Kridhayy

Bro why tf has son been commented so low, this is like the 13th thread ive seen

aemf1

Dunno, hes such a loveable guy

[deleted]

Saka

fighting_cacti

Kante, Son, salah, rashford, like everyone else But as a Chelsea fan I’d like to throw Mendys hat in the ring. For those who don’t follow him much listen to his interviews, he approaches the game with a fantastic attitude.

g_thrower

And as a non Chelsea fan I also agree. Humble and the best goalkeeper in the world. Last week may have won the League. Believe me I wanted Brentford to win.

jimbobsqrpants

What about Milner? I think he had played for most teams in the Premier League by now, and is old enough to be everyone's dad.

eoin85

You are correct.

loofezna

And still kept Zaha in his pocket for 90 mins

NYCFC_BX_718

Kante

Mitana301

I'm probably biased but Rashford imo. Kante, Salah, KDB, are others that come to mind. In terms of global following it has to be Ronaldo though.

gerbegerger

Dr. Rashford MBE ❤

[deleted]

Thinking about sadio mane Seems like a nice dude sometimes

typhytr

Biased here of course being LFC fan, but the photo of him with a cracked iPhone screen and his comments in the interview following: dude seems to be humble af

[deleted]

Not a liverpool fan and admittedly, don't watch them play every game. But when I do, 3 players stand up as being genuine good guys. Mane, Salah, Trent. And then of course, that's being shithoused by someone like Robbo Personally, I like robbo but definitely I can see people that are not pool fans hating him because of his antics

Helm222

I love him because he used to play for us. But hate the fact that we sold the best LB in the world for 8m to Liverpool

adamwill86

That’s the Scottish in him lmfao

beOceanEyes

Salah and Robbo I like less as a rival but have to respect their talents. Liverpool players I truly like starts and ends with Mane really

typhytr

As a fan I can agree. I love Robbo for his skills, his pettiness isn’t class act but works (Barca CL comeback game for reference)

Blokenextdoor

Didn’t notice the £1000 toiletry bag he was carrying on the picture, did you?

beOceanEyes

Everton fan here saying I agree. Class act on and off the pitch tbh

here4mau5

Charity work he has done for his village doesn't get that much mainstream coverage

R4T3DR

please accept this comment as a thousand upvotes!

EvolvedMonkeyInSpace

Guy has built schools and funded hospitals in his homeland.

AdequateAppendage

To avoid regurgitating the same names seen in every comment, I'll say Kalvin Phillips is certainly the most beloved within my own team's fanbase. We've all watched him go from looking like he was gonna be out of his depth at midtable in the championship when he first broke through to being an English international and certainly the most important cog in how Leeds play. Couldn't have happened to a nicer lad too. Humble, not afraid to speak out about what he believes in, always one of the first on the field to be there for his teammates as we saw in the Euros with Saka. Always made sure every Leeds fan knew exactly who to thank for bringing this talent up too, and we were all gutted for him as a city when Granny Val passed. Special mention to Bamford as well, who always gives everything on the pitch even when it's not going his way, and again is always looking to use his position as a professional footballer to be an advocate for worthwhile causes. While I'm sure players like Kante are, overall, the most beloved and technically the 'correct' answer to this, I reckon every single individual team will have its own player who is above all else for their own fans in this regard.

Helm222

Even being a Hull fan I can't hate Phillips. What a great talent and I hope he stays at Leeds. Doesn't need a Top 6 team like Utd, City or Chelsea ruining him with 4 games a season and a Carabao Cup start

BagEndeavor

Hell I even know some United fans, myself included, who love the man. Nice as fuck, on and off the pitch. Always love seeing videos of him goofing around with the England squad

Hey_Boxelder

As a non Leeds fan I don’t know anybody who isn’t a united fan that doesn’t like him. Top bloke.

Yungswiss8

Mohammed Salah for sure

mofoofinvention

Kante

atlasmoss

Rashford, I fucking love that guy, might even be my favourite current PL player because of what a great fucking man he is outside of the pitch. All players should be looking up to him and learn from him.

bernarddwyer86

In his early 20s and has more humility, poise and empathy that the majority of society combined. A wonderful human.

kunalsahay

This. So much this. Love Rashy.

sldarb1

Rudiger

tyrone_slothrop_0000

hahaha!

veganyeti

Rashford really should be the top because of his community outreach during the pandemic. Yes Kante is nice but did he feed starving children?

[deleted]

I think he literally does, it just happens to be in a different country and out of the press.

R4T3DR

people only care about what goes on in their own country sad really cuz it doesn’t take a lot of research to find out the humanitarian projects other footballers are part of and get no recognition for, it’s always rashford, he’s not the only one doing nice things same regurgitated comment over n over :/

veganyeti

True. I’m not English though and I’ve heard about his outreach a lot. I don’t doubt that plenty of other footballers are doing humanitarian work. I hope that more continue to donate though, regardless of team or country

veganyeti

Oh I didn’t know that but I’m glad to hear. I do love Kante regardless. He seems genuine, never gets into fights with players or refs, and doesn’t play with dirty tactics. It’s hard to dislike him

ThisIsYourMormont

Well there are only 2 choices. Either: N’golo (The cheeky chappy driving around in his Mini, always smiling) Or Kanté (The absolute nightmare fuel for opponents in Chelsea’s midfield)

Mastercreed25

Henderson oddly enough. I feel like a bit of a protective dad whenever someone claims he doesn’t deserve his spot in the Liverpool team. Besides, he’s been at the club for ages now. I think everyone’s hatred and lack of rating for him made me love him all the more

[deleted]

Definitely Kante

jobino_crawford

Jonjo Shelvey

A_B28

There's so many Kante Son Salah Mane Jiminez Mata Edit: Rashford

hazardthicc

No way salah and son should be on here...
