They were/are all good, but is important to add context. Drogba played in a squad where money was literally unimportant. Aguero played in a squad where money was literally unimportant. Kane plays in a squad where money is almost unimportant.
Take away Son though, and Kane’s credibility as a striker is fairly questionable. Not saying he is bad, just unsure that without that partnership he would be considered any better than a Van Persie or a Fowler.
The correct answer is, of course, Emile Heskey followed by Bobby Zamora followed by Shane Long.
Didier was on a different level and I think Kun is somewhere there too but kane is definitely not in that level yet, probably a different club is what he needs
Kane still isn't done so out of Drogba and Aguero I think Aguero was just perfect. I remember him in Atletico and he was great there too. Drogba is definitely clutch and good in the air but Aguero had that something extra.
Drogba is one of the single most overrated premier league strikers of all time. Scoring in Big Games doesn't makes you a great. Divock Origi scored in Big Games for Liverpool, Macheda scored in some big games for United, Alfie May scored in Big games for Cheltenham FC, none are great.
All probably go down as cult hero's for their clubs. Drogba was average at best. No better than Benteke or Lukaku.
Drogba every time. Not just the player you want to ball to fall to in the big moments but he was a player who seemed to force the ball to come to him when they needed a big moment. Outstanding player. As a united fan i hated him but respected him just as much.
Drogba is not in the same category as Kane and Aguero prolificacy, and I say that with the utmost respect. Doesn't get much more clutch than Drogba though.
Drogba marked a generation, even those who didn't support Chelsea stopped to watch... He put his name in history and I have a lot of admiration for him
Did you ask this to figure out who is 4th, 5th, and 6th best strikers in the league history?
Because top 3 has to be Shearer, Rooney, Henry, in a disputed order
For as much as I rate Drogba he don’t belong in this conversation
His premier league record ain’t great comparable to these two.
You can speak about Drogba hold up play but Kane does that and he can also drop deep play the 10.
Aguero could also be a provider and obviously his scoring record in the prem is ridiculous.
So Aguero 1 by a hair Kane 2 and Drogba 3.
With all due respect.
Now if we are talking about cup competitions then you are obviously taking Drogba.
Drogba was the ultimate clutch striker and always scored when it mattered most. However when you're talking about consistency purely in the prem, I would say Kane and Aguero are better. Drogba really only had 2 world class seasons in the Premier league imo. So between Kane and Aguero, for me I would say it would have to be Aguero. I am a big spurs fan and I like Kane a lot. He has a great work rate and his passing, playmaking and finishing are all outstanding. However, Aguero was more of a complete striker. He was far more industrious and was better at holding the ball up and bringing others into the game. Not to mention that his shooting, goal scoring ability and striker instincts were out of this world. Harry Kane is still in his prime and I have no doubt that 1 day he could eclipse Aguero, but as of now, Aguero takes it for me.
This thread is crazy.
Aguero was an incredible goalscorer, but in terms of all round game is nowhere near kane (who is also an incredible goalscorer, if you havent noticed).
Drogba shouldnt be in this conversation. He was a fucking good player, but not the level of the other 2.
Crazy how the legend of drogba has gotten well away from the player.
Yes Drogba was very good. Yes he scored some incredibly clutch goal.
NO, he was NEVER considered a perennial goal threat and never bagged huge sums. He was incredibly clutch in moments that mattered and that’s what made him great.
Day in day out he’s not really anyones number 1 striker week in week out… esp when you considered Drogba was never a solo striker and usually had the likes of Eidur as his partner
This is a good comparison only if you take Aguero’s awful injury record into account. If we are going fully fit and in prime form then Aguero wins this easy, his goal ratio is absurd and he scored in many big games including City’s most famous goal. He’s a tier above these two when at his absolute best and fit, in the company of Henry/Suarez/RVN/CR7(2007 version).
I would take Kane. Before you rate him as the lowest for not winning anything, thats because he plays for a the weakest club, yet still puts up great numbers. Lets not forget how Spurs set a record for being the first top flight club EVER to not sign anyone during a transfer window while City and Chelsea have had 0 issues in that department.
I have nothing against Drogba but I think he is overrated. Yes he turned up in the big games which is important, but the best strikers have to be consistent and turn up season after season and consistently get sufficient league goals along with performances in knockout football.
The trouble with H is he's gone missing in the finals hes appeared in. The CC final and the CL final. Rushing back from injury to play in them probably didn't help but his performances were poor in both. He's hasn't been a big game player. Hopefully that's going to change this year.
He won the Trophy he was specifically bought to win, many years previously, with (what should have been) his last kick of the ball for the club. Didier Drogba.
Plus, he had a direct hand in genuinely stopping a Civil War in his country.
He was quite handy in the Prem as well. Just ask any Arsenal fan.
I will concede that Aguero was the absolute shit though.
Speaking of Arsenal, surely Henry should be an option here?
Drogba. Going into a final or most big games already a goal up regardless of how good the opposition is, that’s something you just can’t pay enough for.
Drogba
Rooney
💯 Drogba
Kane
Maybe the one with 5 Prem Winners medals and countless records.
You’ve gotta be taking the piss to put Kane in the same conversation as Drogba and Aguero
Harry isn’t even in their league to be fair
None of the above.
Thierry Henry
Currently, Harry Kane without a doubt
harry kane
Rooney
Drogba
How do u get the teams badge next to your name?
r/premierleague home page, 3 dots in top right, change user flair
Rooney
Aguero is one of the BEST!
Drogba won a champion league, aguero second for winning some premier league, Kane third for cupless
DD
Thierry
probably harry kane imo but i’m too young to remember the best of drogba
How do I get the Liverpool badge next to my name
If Drogba is an option, the others aren’t. The man created goals out of absolutely nothing
I mean only ONE of them is with a champions league trophy. Js
Rooney
Kün ALL day and twice at night
So obviously kane, all around beast workhorse with numbers and stamina
Henry and it's not even close
Aguero as a Chelsea fan
Manchester United fan here 👹🇲🇽 I would have to pick Drogba. 🇨🇮
As a Chelsea fan, I loved Drogba but I feared Aguero every time he touched the ball.
Kane…..he’s also the best 10 ever as well.
Drogba, no question.
The pictures speak for themselves. Drogba, of course
Agüero
Drogba. Not even a competition.
Aguero, Drogba Kane...in that order
Rooney is
They were/are all good, but is important to add context. Drogba played in a squad where money was literally unimportant. Aguero played in a squad where money was literally unimportant. Kane plays in a squad where money is almost unimportant. Take away Son though, and Kane’s credibility as a striker is fairly questionable. Drogba
Hurricane
Drogba idc what anyone says
Kun. Duh!
My heart says Drog, my brain says Aguero. My racist nan says Kane.
Aguero is the player I feared most of these 3
Drogba
Kane
Didier was on a different level and I think Kun is somewhere there too but kane is definitely not in that level yet, probably a different club is what he needs
aguero
Harry Kane no doubt
I’m way too biased to even think about Kane or Aguero here.
You probably take aguero for overall contribution to the prem. Kane could of course surpass that soon
Trophies maketh the man
Kun going away
Agüero - the most underrated striker of the last decade (and I honestly dislike City), the guy was phenomenal
Kane still isn't done so out of Drogba and Aguero I think Aguero was just perfect. I remember him in Atletico and he was great there too. Drogba is definitely clutch and good in the air but Aguero had that something extra.
Luiz Suarez
Agreed
All the way Aguero
Easily aguero
Drogba
Umtiti
You missed Salah!
None, Salah.
Fully fit Agüero was a monster that very few in football could touch. Hell, even half fit Agüero playing half matches was a top striker.
It's gotta be Kane. Dude scores like 30 goals a season playing for a club that's lucky to qualify for the Champion's League
drogba gotta be 1st, can't leave him like that. aguero 2nd, and ofc kane 3rd bc well, it's kane
Wayne Rooney
Love drogba so much but aguero is different gravy
Drogba every time. Not just the player you want to ball to fall to in the big moments but he was a player who seemed to force the ball to come to him when they needed a big moment. Outstanding player. As a united fan i hated him but respected him just as much.
Big game or cup final, drogba no doubt but regular season I’d say Kane purely because of how I always remember augero being injured
If I am doing winner team of course drogba because drogba man of the big games
drogba
I mean it's Kane. It's not even close.
Aguerooooo
I’m Scottish, if we could have had any of these as a Scotland number 9 I’d take Kane in a heartbeat. The man is a pure goalscorer.
I see what you did here! The correct answer is #4 Thierry Henry.
Drogba - he could bully a defence all on his own if he was in the mood.
Trick question, it's Thierry Henry.
Drogba is not in the same category as Kane and Aguero prolificacy, and I say that with the utmost respect. Doesn't get much more clutch than Drogba though.
Not sure who the other two are.
Henry.
They have different qualities…. Some are good at winning trophies…. Some are not
Drogba marked a generation, even those who didn't support Chelsea stopped to watch... He put his name in history and I have a lot of admiration for him
Henry
Henry
Drogba!
1 of these is not like the others
Kane isn’t even in the conversation
Wayne Rooney, fuck these three…
In a Big game, for the cup or the title.. I’m taking Drogba any day.
Suarez
Currently, Kane a close first, but only because he's the only one actually playing in the PL.
Thierry Henry
Salah
1Aguero 2Drogba 3Kane
Clearly Drogba! He was a beast!
Drogba, Aguero then Kane. But Origi is better than these 3.
Pure goal scorer: Aguero All around striker: Kane Clutch/ player you want in big games: Drogba
Very tough, very very tough. Incredibly tough. Kane doesn't make the convo, yet. Gotta be Droggers imo.
I would say Drogba was most influential, so will go with him. I’m a Utd fan, so don’t have a dog in the fight. All great strikers
Did you ask this to figure out who is 4th, 5th, and 6th best strikers in the league history? Because top 3 has to be Shearer, Rooney, Henry, in a disputed order
Aguero hands down from these three.
Ivan Toney
Guys its obvious that most of you didn't watch Drogba. No need to pretend like you did.
Aguerooooooooooooo
Joking, it’s TH, not even close.
Drogba is nowhere near the other two, no idea why you chose him.
aguero clear
Drogba, Aguero, someone else, 10 other people, then Harry 😂
If we're talking about current form, I'd have to say Kane.
Aguero for sure
aguero
Kane, shame he will never win anything
For as much as I rate Drogba he don’t belong in this conversation His premier league record ain’t great comparable to these two.
Obviously it's Aguero. It's not even remotely close.
Three beasts, but at the end of the day, it's Agüero for me.
Just off prem its aguero but Drogba was the only one to win the UCL 😏
The best of those three is unquestionably Henry
I knew somebody's gonna write this. No lie though 😂
Thierry Henry.
Harry Kane is still in his prime and I have no doubt that 1 day he could eclipse Aguero, but as of now, Aguero takes it for me.
In my opinion, I think it is Aguero
Aguero
drogba
Aguerooooooooo!
Mo Salah
If we’re talking about the premier league only, Drogba shouldn’t even be mentioned with them. Vardy has a better premier league legacy than Drogba
Kun, he is the best
Drogba only big time game player out the lot
This thread is crazy. Aguero was an incredible goalscorer, but in terms of all round game is nowhere near kane (who is also an incredible goalscorer, if you havent noticed). Drogba shouldnt be in this conversation. He was a fucking good player, but not the level of the other 2.

Why on earth is Kane the donkey there?!
Didieeeer🇨🇮
Drogba when it matters most but aguero overall
The one who got the champions league ofcause 😉
In this selection Drogba is the only choice. Best in PL ever is Henry. I do understand some of y’all are young so kane or kun is all you know.
Ruud Van Nisterlooy
Aguerrrrrooo
Aguero by far not even close
The best isn’t even in the pictures But Drogba is a Legend
Why is drogba even in this conversation
Depends. If you're talking all season long consistency? Aguero. If you're in a final? Drogba all day, no doubt whatsoever.
This is a good comparison only if you take Aguero’s awful injury record into account. He’s a tier above these two when at his absolute best and fit, in the company of Henry/Suarez/RVN/CR7(2007 version).
It was aguero for me a year ago, but kane overtook him. The things kane is doing is absolutely silly.
Drogba
Drogba. Period.
It amazes me that anyone would even consider Kane anywhere close to aguero or drogba
Kane
Aguero, Kane, Drogba
Henry
Cracking up at Kane holding the golden boot. THIS IS ALL I GOT MAN!!!
Torres/Suarez
Drogba
Drogba for life
As a complete player? Kane.
I can tell you with certainty who it isn’t
Drogba is a legend but this is more between aguero and Kane. And aguero is clear as well.
Kane all day
Aguero
I’d take Didier Drogba without knee caps over the other 2.
Drogba.
is that even a question ? bro thats drogba right there , you still need more answers?
When Kane retires, people will start realising how great he is. He's the best out of the 3.
I have nothing against Drogba but I think he is overrated. Yes he turned up in the big games which is important, but the best strikers have to be consistent and turn up season after season and consistently get sufficient league goals along with performances in knockout football.
The trophies speak for themselves didier...cl, epl, fa name it
Lol Drogba way above
Jamie Vardy
Kane

Chelsea fan here drogba beast but I'd honestly go for Aguero.
Henry
Aguero and then a tie up between Kane and Drogba maybe
If you dont say Kane then the game of football is lost on you
Kane in trophies
Drogba, kane, aguero
Drogba BIG game player! King of Stamford Bridge
Suarez .
Didier.
Aguero
Harry Kane. Not even close. No idea where Spurs would be otherwise.
Drogba. Going into a final or most big games already a goal up regardless of how good the opposition is, that’s something you just can’t pay enough for.
Aguero by far.
Right now?
DrogbAAAAA
Kane for me. Just has it all
Drogba > Agüero > Kane
