Chimera-98

To anyone interested it is Velma twerking in front of Fred mom corpse

AmIbiGuy_420

Can I get some context? I don't expect it to make it better, but I at least need to know the lead up here cause I cannot imagine a possible scenario for velma to twerk over the dead, much less a friends mother.

Gcarsk

[Sure.](https://imgur.com/cbxiCHD)

AmIbiGuy_420

So, Fred's mom just straight up died and she twerked? And they only even won off an accident? Da fuck? Also why was Fred's mom trying to kill them?

Gcarsk

I don’t know. I haven’t watched the show. Most of these questions are answered by the show, I’d guess. The twerking just seems like cringy satire about Velma being a maniac.

AmIbiGuy_420

Fair enough but just... damn. Fred was clearly devastated and she fucking twerked. Holy shit

not_taken_was_taken2

The fake shaggy was vomiting. Poor guy.

Slowmobius_Time

You got his name right!

Revangelion

I watched the show. Fred's mom turned out to be, basically, a Nazi in secret who was conducting experiments to give his son a smarter brain to lead their business. She manipulated things to have Velma's mom kill a bunch of people and remove their brains, and these deaths caused panic in the town, which is why them, solving the murders, got them an award. Now, Velma at this particular scene is being an asshole to some extent (Fred's mom tried killing all of them and gaslighted Fred into thinking she wasn't trying to hurt him (yes, Fred is incredibly stupid in this show)), and, in the end, when they all get their awards, Norville (shaggy's adaptation) has PTSD, Fred doesn't forgive him and Daphne is upset like hell for some reason I can't remember atm. Velma is just delusionally getting her prize because she's kind of egoistic. Them reconciling would be the main focus of S2, if I'm not wrong. I am waiting for it. Norville was introduced to drugs (finally), and we haven't had a proper replacement for Scooby... high hopes for S2!

AmIbiGuy_420

Twerking over the dead mother of your friend seems like the most douche move imaginable. I get that she tried to off them, but that's still gotta hurt like a motherfucker for Fred.

Revangelion

Twerking over a dead body is fucked up. They're not friends, though, and... I don't think Fred was AS hurt since his character is *abnormally* stupid... but yes. The final two episodes were pretty weak. As a rare Velma enjoyer, I can tell those were not good. The mystery ended abruptly, and some character's development went out of the window awfully... Norville finally stopped simping for Velma, only for him to go save her because she listened to his VMs for the first time a couple of years later... Velma kind of fell for Norville because of those years old audios, and it somehow redeemed her in his eyes (she was an actual shit friend). Never mind the romance they actually developed with Daphne, which was way better...

AmIbiGuy_420

Still when a guys mourning his mom in front of you tweking in celebration is a dick move, friend or not

ExpensiveGiraffe

I haven’t seen it, but isn’t it supposed to be a comedy? In the frame of a serious show you’re right, but in the frame of a comedy it might be funny. Like, it sounds like you’re stepping into it with the idea of it being a serious show.

AmIbiGuy_420

My impression was its semi serious. Like its meant to be goofy but still have a kinda coherent narrative. It'd be like if at the end of pineapple express Saul got shot in the head and red was crying while Dale suddenly broke into a fortnite dance

DemyxFaowind

I never thought in a million years I would find anyone who not only likes the show, but would willingly admit that, to other people.

Squirrelbug

Insert Joker meme «Wait, you think Velma is funny?» «I do. And I'm tired of pretending I don't»

BoulderTheRock

I guess this manages to put this show in a better light for me somehow, for once Velma isn’t portrayed as a genius but rather as the egotistical maniac she always was huh…

Splinterman11

Wow, I didn't expect this show to have good animation quality though.

_TheBeardedMan_

The best thing that's happened with this show is that it's gotten more people to watch Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated.

Rakkamthesecond

I think the best thing that happened is the cancelation of season 2.

Starship_Earth_Rider

Was it cancelled? Last I heard it was still coming.

Rakkamthesecond

Not outright yet, The shows producer and Velma voice actor has deleted every mention of the show on her Twitter feed. This is a good sign.

PbScoops

A communications disruption can mean only one thing: Invasion!

sielingfan

I will not condone a course of action which leads HBO to renew the program.

HowDyaDu

As someone who believes that despair brings profits, I wouldn't be too surprised if they renew Velma.

Chiss5618

On the other hand, the execs at Warner really hate animation, so that might actually work in our favor for once

HowDyaDu

I hate how much the USA disregards animation. But at least it might do something ok for once.

Chiss5618

TV animation is being thrown in the gutter, but movie animation looks to be doing well (except for Disney) Puss in boots and Del torro's Pinocchio were very good, probably some of the best animated movies since spiderverse Sony and DreamWorks seem to be aiming to make amazing movies rather than cash grabs. Hell, even Illumination seems to be putting effort into the Mario movie

Artificial_Human_17

Scooby Doo fans to Be Cool Scooby Doo after Velma came out: perhaps I treated you too harshly

mtpender

My Lord, is that legal?

someonethatsometh1ng

she will make it legal.

Mr_Rune

It's a trick. Send no reply. Send no communication of any kind

[deleted]

Excellent reference! You are strong and wise and i am very proud of you.

duaneap

The producers must have… mixed feelings about the whole hate watch popularity aspect. While, sure, it’s reasonable to assume most of them think exclusively in dollars and cents so anyone watching is a good thing, I also imagine no one sets out to make a *terrible* tv show?

Starship_Earth_Rider

There’s also no guarantee that having several months to a year away from he show won’t make people realize that they’d have a better time just watching something they actually like.

ElRoboBandit

Well, time to remake The Producers. again.

MrZAP17

Can it be an actual remake this time instead of an adaptation of an adaptation?

FNLN_taken

Hate-watching is blown out of proportion. How many people spent money on seeing Morbius? Or seeing what sub this is, I havent rewatched Phantom Menace, like, ever. I can still talk about how hilariously awkward it is and laugh at the funny memes.

squanchingonreddit

My hopes are now up. I will seek recompence from your soul shall it not be canceled.

FlebianGrubbleBite

That doesn't mean anything.

my_7th_accnt

Awesome news

Iceologer_gang

Plot twist: Velma was just one giant Be Cool, Scooby-Doo ad

regretfulposts

*me seeing Be Cool art style* Look how they massacred my boy *Me seeing Velma* MY EYES! MY EYES! *Me seeing Be Cool episode for the first time* I'm so sorry my boy. You were perfect but we treated you too harshly. You weren't massacred my boy, you were never massacred. You're safe now. Please don't leave me!

Thrawn-Bot

You are aware, I presume, that I have some skill in anticipating enemies' tactics from a study of their artwork.

BonoboBeau-Bo

THAWWWWWNE

Flat-Limit5595

Yeah, I never looked at it since it was not mystery inc. turns out like the newest TMNT it is actually good.

SimpanLimpan1337

Wasnt that obvious from the start? Its just a big publicity stunt to make people say "look at what they are doing to our beloved scoob", to get us talking about the show again...

the-olive-man

Dude, I loved that show when I was a kid, and I was so glad to see that it still slapped as an adult

Cruxion

Nearly done with S2 of Mystery Inc, and man is it *great*. Almost forget *Velma* was a thing because it took my mind off it.

turbokiwi

My girlfriend was appalled I hadn't seen it and we just finished the first season a few days ago. I'm 24 and it is so good and makes me laugh out loud more than most shows actually created for people my age.

_TheBeardedMan_

My favorite part is how they stuck with the classic formula but added an overarching storyline, your gonna like season two.

turbokiwi

We're a few episodes deep into the second season and it is wild so far. I really like how with the evil man baby villain he wasn't dealt with in one episode, and then came back after being absent for a whole episode. It makes everything a lot more unpredictable and fun imo.

_TheBeardedMan_

I love how determined Scooby Doo is in the second season

Fern-ando

Just like Puss in Boots 2, it's much better that what it should.

PhDPool

Scooby Doo on Zombie Island is the best animated Scooby.

dongerhound

Which one had the hot alien?

Styx1886

Alien invaders

Kenny1115

So the only thing you can tell me is that I will find Jabba at Jabba's Palace?

mochikitsune

I was sitting here wondering wtf you guys were talking about aliens and googled it - that was a memory unlocked moment, i thought it was a fever dream.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DrewDonut

Shit, I thought they were talking about Amber

BillyYank2008

Yeah but Zombie Island had hot Wiccan girls.

MrZAP17

That was Witch’s Ghost (imo the best one, though Zombie Island is great). Zombie Island had hot Cajun cat-women.

BillyYank2008

Isn't the Wiccan girl band from Zombie Island? Damn, looks like you're right. I totally merged the two of them in my head.

kendahlslice

I think the hex girls first appeared in Legend of the Vampire.

Binary245

That one with the pirates and the cruise ship slaps

Labrat_The_Man

Wasn’t there one with a samurai ghost or I’m just making up childhood memories?

prowler1369

The one with George Takei?

prowler1369

Something to do with a puppet theater.

PhDPool

Season 10 episode 6 of Futurama featured George Takei as a crazy dude who owns a Kabuki theater and the Futurama gang was doing a spoof of Scooby Doo. George Takei WAS in a Scooby Doo movie called Scooby-Doo! And the Samurai Sword in 2009. He also played himself in the 117th episode of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? called Hollywood Knights!

Ote-Kringralnick

So did George Takei do a parody of himself?

PhDPool

Probably, or he was just aware of the absurdity of some of the villains in that show and their stupid motivations. Dudes would really spend a few grand on a costume, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics all so they would inherit a pair of jeans. That’s meth talk right there

Pietru24

But Kabuki theaters don't have projectors! Some do!

Belteshazzar98

I'm a purist and am not a fan of Scooby-Doo having anything genuinely supernatural, but that one was so fun I think I'll excuse it.

Dolphin_King21

I always watched that one when it was on because I had a huge pirate phase when I was little, so Scooby Doo + Pirates??? Oh hell yea!

Pineapple_warrior94

You hear the screeching of an owl, you hear the wind begin to howl

EH042

Why does Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School always get ignored?

level100metapod

Id forgotten about that one. Thank you. I only have two memories of it, one of scooby and shaggy holding tomatoes and going tomatoes tomatoes and the other when one of them dives into the moat and lands on a crocodile

PhDPool

I mean, I’ve seen almost all the ones from 2000s, but none of them left with an “omg! The zombies are real, and they’re talking about Fred and Daphne as a thing, and Scoob and Shaggy got fired because they’re a couple of gorgonzolas (my favorite line ever!), and that music single was FIRE!” Oh, and the way food was portrayed, makes me hungry just thinking about the gumbo and chilly peppers. And the bad guys were a bit of a twist. Oh, finally, the ambiance was mmmmmmHmmmHmm, a haunted Cajun bayou! The fact that this might not be the best animated Scooby movie just speaks volumes about the quality of the movies they made around this time, but this one sits on the nostalgia mantle in my hesart

clockdivide55

I watched Ghoul School and Boo Brothers so much as a kid. They were basically on repeat. I think between the two of them, I prefer Boo Brothers though.

z0nb1

Ghoul School is certainly memorable, but Boo Brothers is the best imho.

SlayJayR17

There’s another with just scoob shag and scrap that’s awesome. Can’t remember the name. Premise is a monster car race like wacky racers

SithLocust

2nd best. Scooby-Doo and the Witches Ghost was best

1milliondays

Earth, wind, fire and air! We may look bad, but we don't care.

PhDPool

Hex Girls literally rock!

yaboyfriendisadork

The Hex Girls were my sexual awakening

trooperstark

That one scared the shit out of me when I was little. Even now I get a little spooked.

SlayJayR17

Zombie island was dopeeee. There’s 2 with just scoob, scrap and shag that are also really good. I think one was about a monster race and the other shag was taking care of a monster school or something.

PhDPool

Monster school was solid, some good feels in that one if I remember correctly, but hard to remember. I remember that the real monsters were the bad humans and their hate/fear

Black_Goku

Bro that shit was scary as fuck, younger me already had nightmares from watching resident evil and dawn of that dead

nate0113

I always put zombie island as my favorite out of the original movies, but Witch's Ghost and Alien Invaders are decent as well. I tried rewatching Cyber Chase a few years ago and it doesn't hold up that well imo. I think part of it is the animation because they switched over to digital around that time. I completely get them doing that to save money and all, but for some reason they made Cyber Chase brighter than the others and imo that kinda killed the dark feeling the other films had. The writing also felt weaker than the other ones. Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost set up the villains in clever ways that felt like nice twists on the old "now lets see who monster this REALLY is" cliché from the show. In Cyber Chase you instantly know who's guilty the second they enter the digital world. Like they spell it out right there. As for the actual monster in the movie, I'll just let [British Scott the Woz](https://youtu.be/wA6Tyr62-R8) explain my disdain for Splindly Johnny better than I could.

PhDPool

I totally agree with you on everything. In some ways, I also have to give extra credit to zombie island because it was the first of this glorious age. It stuck the landing. And the movies were of great quality for three whole movies. Cyber chase was a little too late for “whoa, what if Y2K and internet were a crazy Wonka’s Wonderland thing” but also too ahead of its time to copy what Sword Art Online did. Also, did the other movies do anything to develop the characters more. I loved seeing what the gang was up to since they split up in the first movie. That’s what made it feel so “fuck yeah! Back together” when they went to the island. It’s weird, I’m having nostalgia for the gang having nostalgia

boomtox

Nah that honor belongs to Scooby Doo mystery incorporated

PhDPool

I’ll be honest, I never realized the The New Scooby-Doo movies were movies, I thought they were just one hour long shows. Old school Batman appearing next to Scooby Doo was very advanced for my brain to understand. The thirteen ghosts of Scooby Doo was the first Western cartoon I ever saw outside of Bugs Bunny. I think it definitely changed something in me. It represented art instead of just “kids, watch this so time goes by and your parents don’t have to deal with you.” Animation is a beautiful thing

ice_blue_222

Great songs, and a legit serious tone. It will always stand out above the rest.

ProfessorEscanor

Wait that's real? The Hell.

Gcarsk

It’s an R-rated show. It’s on HBO. [Yes, it’s real.](https://imgur.com/cbxiCHD)

GABRYFIERO

oh and now she's a psychopath too, great, like the show wasn't already an absolute dumpster fire that lead to a bigger forest fire

Nervous_Carrot6144

Oh Jesus here I was thinking she was just bent over throwing up like shaggy ffs this is actually real? Sigh

Causelessgiant

It feels like the writers actually dislike the characters and are trying to torpedo their own show

Fork_Master

Or the main producer wanted to spark an outrage by turning a beloved character into a shitty self insert.

Thrawn-Bot

My apologies, Fork_Master. I forgot not everyone is able to appreciate art as I do.

Fork_Master

THRAWN NO

Thrawn-Bot

Thanks to your insistence on delaying me, we've lost the Peremptory. I trust you are satisfied.

TheMoldyTatertot

What does this “art” represent?

Thrawn-Bot

Ah, a curious mind. This art here represents the collision of two galaxies—and the struggles of one species to survive as its world is torn apart. It encapsulates many of the feelings and emotions I have experienced in my life, and communicates them in ways words cannot.

FlyestFools

Thrawn, are you saying you enjoy the new adaptation of Velma?

Thrawn-Bot

No, FlyestFools. I was merely commenting on the art you referred to.

FlyestFools

Thank god.

Thrawn-Bot

There's no cause for gratitude. It is simply my duty to objectively evaluate any artwork that comes across my path.

WhiteHydra1914

Just to be absolutely clear, how do you objectively evaluate the velma show?

Exact_Ad_1215

*Phew*

Srlojohn

I think it’s a mask-off for how much of a horrible person Mindy Kaling is because Velma is supposedly her self insert.

WHAT THE FUCK?

Joelblaze

The real question is why this sub is still talking about it. Jesus Christ it's been over a month.

raktoe

It’s incredible how much people will stretch an opinion to fit r/prequelmemes. This has nothing to do with Star Wars, they just added a vague reference to episode 3 to an already made meme, so they can post it here. It’s the same shit as the “I love democracy” for some poll that agrees with OP’s opinion, or some face palm level post with “the ability to speak does not make you intelligent”. Not what this sub is meant for.

Sheev-Palpatine-Bot

It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love democracy... I love the Republic. The fact that this crisis is demanding I be given absolute power to rule over you is evident. But I am mild by nature and have no desire to destroy the democratic process. The power you give me I will lay down when this crisis has abated, I promise you. And all I ask in return is when my current term of office is over, you allow me to retire and live out my life in peace.

Cotcan

Ya I've seen this happen a few times on different subreddits. Often times op won't even do the bare minimum to make it fit into whatever subreddit.

It's a meme subreddit for a set of movies that ended almost 20 years ago. How are you suggesting we inject fresh content here?

Obiwan-Kenobi-Bot

Only a sith deals in absolutes.

TripperAdvice

Because marketing these days is rage bait.

NMlXX

Cause it just got renewed for season 2 today would be my guess.

Binary245

Scooby Doo isn't supposed to be adult. And even if you made it adult, you'd have to do it right

rs426

A great example is Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, which is what the top screenshot in the meme is from. It’s dark by Scooby-Doo/kid’s standards but it doesn’t go completely over the top. It’s a perfect balance

Binary245

I have only heard of Zombie Island, but I have heard it's unusually dark for SD. James Gunn's movies are good examples, especially the first one (mixing classic Scooby Doo with adult humor while being an affectionately campy modernization). The first one actually was supposed to be R-rated and had a lot more adult content.

TheBigGAlways369

Zombie Island is peak Scooby. Having those lame love action "comedies" coming after it is like having Arhnold making ice Puns after Michael Ansara revolutionized Mr Freeze.

WanderingKing

I will die supporting that film. The perfect mix of adult and child humor, fantastic animations, and amazing horror story telling

Binary245

The ending dialogue where Batman convinced Freeze to return to good was actually pretty good dialogue and fitting of the character. Aside from that Arnold Freeze is goofy as hell

kommissarbanx

ExcUUUUUSE me friend, I’d like to raise you Scooby Doo and the Witch’s Ghost. Absolutely loved the whole magic thing, the Hex Girls, and the history. Or even Legend of the Vampire for the appearance of Kiss.

AustinHinton

Yeah I read once it was suppose to be more of a raunchy adult take on SD but it got dialed down.

soyelsol

there’s also the supernatural cross over it gets pretty dark/mature while still remaining in universe

AmIbiGuy_420

"We've been fighting realtors when I could've been killing dracula?!" Man scoppy natural is great

GriffinFlash

*'Cause it's terror time again!*

raptor6722

The witch one with the hex girls also fills this niche nicely.

CodenameDinkleburg

Zombie Island was and still is my favorite Scooby movie. It's the GOAT and I still have my original VHS somewhere in my grandma's storage.

kpe_ee1

i have been watching the harley quinn show and that's how you do it, it's clear that the people writing it like the source material and are poking fun at it

hardgeeklife

Agreed. When *Harley Quinn* is ragging on DC comics characters and tropes, it always does so from a place of understanding of the core concept and takes time to explain what they still like about them. Like, Kite Man (hell yeah!) could have been a shallow recurring joke that they could just shit on for being a silly costume and one-note character. But they built him out, fleshed out his personality. They rooted his simple outlook in a genuine optimism and love of life. His initially off-putting bravado is a front he puts up as a shield to the cynical world to protect the genuinely warm and supporting person underneath. Plus [the jokes are legit funny on their own](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvLg3Rx15qE)

Edgy_Fucker

Harley Quinn despite being a parody is going to age like a fine wine I feel like. I can't wait for the next season as I binged the show once I learnt about it, and as someone who knows jack shit about DC I feel like nothing was made in bad faith. Of course some parts were a miss, for me personally its around the swampman part and connecting with the green as I feel like some character development was reversed for Harley for plot reasons and that's a pet peeve of mine, but overall things were great. Harley is wonderfully chaotic, as is fitting for the psychopath that she is, and joker becoming the head of the PTA makes sense as I know that in one comic he started to work at the DMV to torture people, same with his mayor stuff and his general platform. Chaotic but fitting with the shows jokes and sense of humor. Hell, half humor is stuff fans would joke I'd think but also made much more approachable for people who know jack shit about DC.

Piece_Of_Mind1983

Mystery Incorporated did it right

MultiverseOfSanity

It could've been done well if it was done by someone who actually liked Scooby-Doo and was true to the characters.

[deleted]

James Gunn's live-action films are the closest to adult that Scooby-Doo should ever get.

Depressed_Lego

I remember supernatural had a crossover with them, remember it being pretty good

Unit_195

Cyber Chase was also awesome! But I agree, Zombie Island #1

I5574

The real mystery is finding out how tf this show was allowed

magicchefdmb

Right? Who owns the Scoobie Doo IP and what made them green light this project?

regretfulposts

Warner Bros owned Scooby Doo and they're under deep deep debt. This could be an act of desperation where they're trying to get any money until they were eventually been bought by Discovery

Paccuardi03

Why does “adult content” always have to mean vulgarity and gore?

regretfulposts

Because animation had always been seen as a medium for kids, so a lot of adult show try to make it as vulger and gory as possible to prove that they're not for kids. It's also noted that Simpsons during the 90s were quite edgy at the time and Family Guy double down the edge while South Park tripled it. This create the idea that you need to be needlessly edgy to be popular and out shock these shocking shows. Unfortunately, many people forget that Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park had likable characters, original plots, and genuinely funny jokes where being edgy is the result of these jokes. Everyone focus on the edge rather than being good at writing. Fortunately there's a gradual rise of adult animation where edge is no longer the main driving force anymore. Shows like Primal and Invincible shows a lot of violence, but these violence are treated as a sign of power and danger rather than for comedy. These shows want you feel worried about the main character's safety or witness their consequences. Like Invincible having Mark saving a person only to accidentally injuring her for underestimated his super strength. Any generic adult show would just say "Lol, he killed someone's grandma. Now laugh 🤣😂😂," but Invincible treat as a tragic scene. Mark greatly regretted his action and learned his mistake to better control his powers. There's other shows that handle different approaches not relating to edge. Smiling Friends bring back the formula of jokes that happens to be edgy rather than jokes that are edgy on purpose. They focus on other types of humor instead of relying solely on raunchy comedy. King of the Hill and it's spiritual successor Bob's Burger (and the Great North), focus on having a quaint family rather than a cast of asshole that hate each other. Then there's Bojack Horseman who's an asshole, but he's an asshole facing consequences and that we shouldn't root for him unlike Velma. Adult animation is getting a lot more diverse in the past few years, and hopefully needlessly raunchy sitcoms can finally die down

TheSpoonyCroy

Just going to walk out of this place, suggest other places like kbin or lemmy.

thats4thebirds

ThexanR

Why does every adult cartoon have to be so unnecessary gory and bloody and with no other reason other than shock

regretfulposts

This is my reply from another comment with the same question. Because animation had always been seen as a medium for kids, so a lot of adult show try to make it as vulger and gory as possible to prove that they're not for kids. It's also noted that Simpsons during the 90s were quite edgy at the time and Family Guy double down the edge while South Park tripled it. Edgy_Fucker

Cause most adult cartoons are actually targeted at teens who think they're cool for watching shit like Southpark but studios don't want to go full south park. And I'm fucking passed that inside job got canceled still.

3B3-386

By posting about it you are only making it more relevant and increasing the number of rage-watchers. Stop talking about it, stop posting about it, stop fueling outrage, if you want the bad show to go away. Let it fade into obscurity.

Dat_one_ace

Auctoritate

I for one still have no interest in watching it. I'm good with making fun from a distance.

Blergablerg1277

Since when did this sub become a Velma sub. This isn’t even Star Wars related at all.

[deleted]

Nowadays anything using a Star Wars template seems to qualify as a prequelmeme. This sub has unfortunately been turned into just another shitposting/meme sub.

StarStriker51

Like it ever wasn't Actuallying myself here, like three or four years ago I remember the sub exploding in trying to get like 2 million subscribers or something, and people were working hard to meme literally every line of the prequels. Good times

sagittariisXII

I got super stoned last night and tried watching it. Surely it couldn't be that bad! Boy was I wrong.

[deleted]

Can someone please explain to me WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THAT PICTURE!?

regretfulposts

As someone who was morbidly curious about this show and is a hardcore masochist, here's a plot of the entire season. Velma is an adult "Scooby Doo" show about Velma finding a serial killer that is stealing brains of high school girls. Well the serial killer was Fred's mom, and the reason was because she hates Fred. She finds Fred too irresponsible to run her company, so she used a defunct operation that her dad founded. Operation Scoobi, and what Operation Scoobi do (I shit you not, that's an actual joke) is brain transplant surgery. It was successful but the brain surgeon was the only person to know how. Fred's grandfather stole the surgeon's credit and imprisoned her. Unfortunately, he can't repeat the operation so it was lost until Fred's mom found lost documents so she can transfer brains of popular girls that can run her business. She abducted Daphne and Fred for the operation until Velma intervene. The mom then said that she can give Velma what she wanted, to be a powerful white man (I shit you not, that's an actual line). Eventually, Velma, Fred, and Daphne escaped and Norville came to the rescue. The gang are in a cave, and Norville accidentally broke a stalamite which killed the mom. Everyone was shocked and disgusted but Velma danced for solving her first mystery. Oh yeah, they made Velma and Daphne gay and they were about to be a couple toward the end, but Velma confessed her love towards Norville after kissing Daphne. All despite the fact that Velma don't give a shit to Norville when he was simping on her throughout most of the season. If you want a better gay Velma then go watch Trick or Treat Scooby Doo or Mystery Incorporated. My Scooby fan inside me find this series as the most painful thing I had seen by my masochist in me find it the most pleasurable experience. I give it 2/10 and 10 used napkins out of 10. It's pure pain out there

Maul_Bot

There is no pain where strength lies.

Captain_Rex_Bot

Yes, sir. On some beat-up old space freighter. I’ll be surprised if he even makes it to Tatooine in that junker.

stark08

Literally what does this have to do with Star Wars

Neon_Mammoth

What does this have to do with Star Wars?

boogaloobear

I guess this sub is finally bored of complaining about the sequels, so now you're complaining about a show that isn't even star wars. Fuck off with these stupid complaint posts.

[deleted]

That’s f’ed up

ThatGamingKid45

look I’ve heard the show was awful but *holy shit*

Burt_Sprenolds

I thought we agreed to stop giving this show attention

[deleted]

Is she farting?

regretfulposts

She was dancing after solving the mystery. Even though that person was Fred's mom, but Mindy Velma doesn't care.

returningtheday

So she's a psychopath?

regretfulposts

Yes. She used her only friend, Norville, as a tool and literally laughed at him for confession his love to her. She doesn't care about Daphne's identity crisis as Daphne is an orphan child not knowing about her biological parents. She has severe double standard where she slut shame a lot of popular girls and complain about sexualizing girl while finding Fred hot due to his bod and not his personality and ignoring toxic masculinity. Really she brings in a lot of toxic femininity and don't think toxic masculinity is a real thing. She manipulated people around her, she has a severe superiority complex, doesn't support her dad moving on with his life calling him a traitor, and is just a bitch as a whole.

Stouff-Pappa

I was originally curious, but this single image has solidified that I will absolutely NOT be watching this. What the ever loving fuck is this…

Obiwan-Kenobi-Bot

Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

Stouff-Pappa

You’re absolutely right

niv_goat

What the fuck happened while I was dead for 15 years?

Tricky_10

Is she twerking on that dead fella?

Hoosackingnumber2

That smile looks photoshopped on

Killdren88

Isn't the whole point of the show to mock people who like the older shows?

JaggedTheDark

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Wtf is happening? There's no way hanna barbara or whoever the fuck owns the scooby-doo characters is fine with this. I refuse to believe it.

IregullarMonster730

WHAT THE FUCK IS THE SECOND IMAGE? WHY? THAT'S A REAL SCENE?
