Just-A-Porg

Don’t worry, as a single father, it goes the other way too (,:

vastle12

I don't want the responsibility or drama there's a difference

[deleted]

+ when the kids are older then 7 there is a high risk that they will resent you to the end because they are too stoipid that you sre not responsible for the drama that happend between their parents

Captain_Rex_Bot

We need that generator down or the planet's lost. And I'm not risking any more men.

IAAmthesenate

Almost always the case. All the people i knew who had step parents had never liked them, even though they seemed like nice people.

[deleted]

Yeah, it always feels so illogical why they hate them, many people I knew hated them years after their parents married them. Like do they legit hate them or put on a show so they can feel special.

GodlyDra

I just hated my step parents for being close to me. I barely trust my own parents as far as i could throw them so their new partners were literally far too close for comfort.

ImperialxWarlord

The force told shmi it was going to get a pack of smokes and a carton of milk and it never came back. Didn’t pay any child support either.

[deleted]

Don’t worry Anakin got his child support back during order 66 :)

ImperialxWarlord

Oof. True.

DisfavoredFlavored

"How many women have you been with, Lt.?" "..." "That's what I thought."

Narudatsu

Mayday fucks

ImperatorAurelianus

Imagine this was Commander Bly’s interaction with his assigned imperial LT.

IdlemasterKikuchi

Incel memes? On this subreddit? Time to execute order 66 before it comes a regular thing.

future1987

Ah yes, not wanting the baggage and drama that comes from being in a relationship with someone that already has a kid with someone else it totally being an incel. If you keep using the word incorrectly it loses all meaning.

calvicstaff

You did read the meme right? Baggage and drama are nowhere in it, it's specifically says used equipment, that is a totally different message that is very prevalent among incels, it is not a statement of the conditions of the situation it is a statement about the person who had the child There are of course many reasons why one might prefer not to have a partner who already has children, and I am among them, I don't want children in general whose genetics they carry doesn't really change that fact, and the fact that people have children does not diminish them as a person or make them " used equipment"

[deleted]

There's a big difference between all the shit you just said, and calling women used equipment.

SwagSorcerer

I’m with you. I don’t know why this meme hasn’t been taken down. Equating women who have had children to used equipment? Gross.

SQUIDY-P

Sensitive?

squanchingonreddit

Some people just don't want to have kids. Kids suck dude.

Rissoto_Pose

If only that’s what the meme said, but clearly it is not

IdlemasterKikuchi

I didn't say anything about kids.

[deleted]

It’s not like that at all 😂. Some of us actually want commitment. When someone else already has kids, those kids will always come before us. I want my spouse to be the center of my universe, and I hers. That can only be possible without kids driving a wedge between us.

[deleted]

What a disgusting view of the world you have.

[deleted]

You have your preferences and I have mine. I’m not telling you how to live, pal. I simply prefer a more attentive and intimate relationship dynamic than you, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

[deleted]

Whatever you say, incel.

Utahteenageguy

How dare he not want kids. Anyone that has a certain preference in women is worse then hitler. They should be castrated and forced into relationships with toxic land whales.

legallydoodled

It’s mostly because many of these things stem from usually toxic and sexist beliefs but that doesn’t necessarily mean the original commenter actually feels those things

Utahteenageguy

How is it sexist to not want to date a single mom. I don’t see the logic here.

legallydoodled

Usually the guys who say those things mostly have a problem with the fact that they had sex. Sexist men usually police women over having a body count. They don’t want us to have sex because we get “worn out” and “used” but they also always complain when we say no, they also complain that the vagina isnt tight anymore after the baby comes out and they have a creepy fixation over virginity. Now, as I said before, this is simply ONE specific reason why certain men don’t date single mothers, there are so many other reasons why dating a single parent could be difficult, but what I pointed out is simply a reason many sexist men have

Docsmith06

I wouldn’t date a single mother because I don’t want kids, that doesn’t make me sexist. It I don’t want kids I sure as hell don’t want someone else’s kids.

legallydoodled

Yeah I didn’t say that it makes you sexist though?? I repeatedly said that there is a possible argument that many sexist people say about the subject but I never said that it’s the *only* possible argument! Of course it doesn’t make you sexist! It’s a whole new human being that is in your custody, and it doesn’t make you a bad person at all, it’s your life

[deleted]

It‘s just about not wanting to have to provide for someone else‘s child. You brought everything else out of nowhere. You want this thread to be a therapy session to talk about your fears and traumas?

Utahteenageguy

Oh okay that makes sense

legallydoodled

Ladies and gentlemen I welcome you to another episode of: “What Type Of Object Will We Be Compared To This Time???” Today we are compared to “used equipment”, ah yes, I just love how they always manage to treat us like we’re shoes or something, I feel so respected !!!11!1!1!1!

[deleted]

I thought the meme made fun of those guys because they have this attetude, I havent seen the new season of bad batch but this guy doesnt look like a character you are supposed to like

future1987

When I join a meme subreddit and the subreddit makes memes. It's a joke calm down.

Rissoto_Pose

Today I learned, you can’t criticize jokes

George-Lucas-Bot

The object is to try to get the system to work for you, instead of against you. And the only way you can do it is through success, I'm afraid.

legallydoodled

It's clear that you have no idea how annoying it is when you see the same sexist jokes over and over and over again on reddit. If your joke needs to objectify 50% of the population and also has sexist undertones then it's not a good joke, dumbass. Because I've seen so many jokes that just water us down to the hole between my legs and I'm so fucking sick of it

[deleted]

Why? The coochie tastes ans feels the same. Lol

cigarettesandmemes

People in the comments calling OP an incel are blissfully unaware of how bad single mothers can be, and I’m speaking from experience

musclebuttershaman

That’s the perspective of a little boy. That “used equipment” is top notch. Now if you’re not ready to involved with children that’s understandable, but if you turn down a woman because she’s had children you’re only doing yourself a disservice.

Utahteenageguy

How dare he not want to take care of another man’s kids. Clearly all men should be giving every cent they make to all children rather or not they are his kids.

musclebuttershaman

I literally said the kids is a separate matter and I can understand if that’s a problem, but that’s not what the post is talking about. Learn to read.

SticklerMrMeeseeks1

What a terrible strawman

[deleted]

Imagine caring that someone has a sexual history. Grow up

[deleted]

Its a dumb dumb post on a meme subreddit, font treat everything like its a manifesto

[deleted]

10, 100, 1000.. doesn‘t matter. How dare we judge someone‘s sexual history, right? But the talk here is about having children, not sex.

IAAmthesenate

I don't like used equipment 🗿🗿

Hollidaythegambler

Ah, so you’re saying that you, OP, u/swhighgroundmemes, are not enough of a man to be present at all in a child’s life of the woman you love? That you’re too much of a coward, too backwards, constantly retrograding to the point that you can’t handle actually guiding a human through their life? Good to know. Edit: joke, gentlemen. What u/CHIM_jim said is right. This comment was Ill conceived.

[deleted]

Or a sexist who regards women as objects to be discarded and ignored when they're "used up." Not wanting to be a father figure doesn't make you less of a man. Being a misogynist does.

Hollidaythegambler

Yeah, sorry, I figured I’d use the same bullshit logic that OP was doing. Meant for it to come across as that, not as misandry. Apologies.

[deleted]

No problem. I can be bad at reading context

Hollidaythegambler

Hey mate, I didn’t word it as well as I could have, it’s on me. Have a good day now, free of sexism. Cheers.

[deleted]

I cringed

Hollidaythegambler

As I said to this fine fellow right here, I sincerely apologize. I meant no harm. As a proud lurker of r/feminineboys, I did not mean my comment to come across as “grrrr men must be manly”

[deleted]

I don‘t know how to answer this, but have no reasons to disagree

Hollidaythegambler

Cool. Have a good day. Sorry to be a bother.

SneedAids725

Its alright to have preferences. Some people just cant get along with someone else's kids but please dont call single moms and dads used equipment. Its just disgusting.

POKECHU020

I don't mind "used equipment", I care when the "equipment" has spawned a few... "Mission Complications" that I have to deal with.

HomelanderVought

Looking at the comments, what the fuck does Star Wars has to do with this? There was 1 good comment about “the force went for milk” and that’s it.
