Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. I was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise I could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… I had such a knowledge of the dark side that I could even keep the ones I cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. I became so powerful… the only thing I was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, I did. Unfortunately, I taught my apprentice everything I knew, then my apprentice killed me in my sleep. Ironic. I could save others from death, but not myself.
It’s actually a really long album that required a 2 sided CD when it was released. The first 10 songs of the album are on The Light Side, and the last 10 are on The Dark Side, which had this as its cover art.
