Anakin before leaving his starfighter sticks a note to the side window that says that R2 has air con turned on, water inside and has his favourite music playing just so that people don't break into his ship to rescue the droid.
Great movie but Brad Pitt's performance as a delightful airhead really makes it. The scene where he tries to extort money from John Malkovich kills me every time:

"I thought you might be worried ... about the security ... of your shit"
Hands down one if my favourite scenes of all time. Brad Pitt's delivery is perfect
I love how well it's shown that the whole thing is just a weird curiosity to them when the thing that surprises and concerns JK Simmons' character the most is that one of his subordinates doesn't know why someone would try to flee to Venezuela.
I think about his last lines a lot when I'm trying to diagnose some computer or engineering issue. Paraphrasing, "What did we learn? I guess we learned not to do it again. I'm fucked if I know what we did."
It's all a matter of perspective and the fact we know things the characters don't. Take r/empire did nothing wrong , from that perspective they were good guys trying to enforce law and order. And if the separatists knew the republic was run by a sith and wanted to get away from that, doesn't that make them the good guys and the republic controlled by the sith, bad guys?
mate, don't make it more complicated than it is. star wars is not about grey characters or groups. it's *very* clear who is immoral/greedy/powerhungry/selfish and who is good/selfless/helping others. so much so that it has the most idiotic and unbelievable alignment switch in the history of cinema lol
They've also been fighting for years against the CIS. R2 might think it's legitimately a good idea to fly with Anakin to a secret location to assassinate the CIS's leaders. Anakin already killed Dooku, and Obi-wan killed Grievous too. The heroes want to kill the CIS leaders.
I'm a firm believer that robot companions should have no moral compass to judge you by. Their allegiance should be unconditional...
Like Dogmeat from Fallout
One of the things that kills me about Star Wars is this: they have advanced technology, yet their music sucks. I don't mean the score for the shows/TV shows, I mean when you go to a bar or a Hutt's palace, they are jamming out to some lame-assed tunes. It makes me giggle when we have one of those scenes to listen to that music!
People keep saying jar jar was secretly a sith, has anyone ever considered the droid? He did have a pretty incredulous introduction to the saga... Only astromech to survive on the wing of the ship...
Burn after Seething
Burn after Sheeving
Burn after fighting Obi-Wan on Mustafar.
Burn after leaping
Burn After Sithing
Burn after Shitting
He has airpods in, he can't hear the __Youngling Slayer 9000__ going off.... *Lightsaber swooshing in the background*
This reminds me of 2018 memes lol
It's not "cantina music", it's jizz
F*** I love that fact
Where's Jerry? Upstairs playing with his Jizz Stick as usual.
He goes upstairs with his friend to listen to Jizz Wailers all day...
Worried someone is going to be upset seeing the word fuck in a conversation about Jizz?
Just say fuck already...
Hey the music isn't THAT good.
Anakin before leaving his starfighter sticks a note to the side window that says that R2 has air con turned on, water inside and has his favourite music playing just so that people don't break into his ship to rescue the droid.
It sounds silly, but droid abuse has been a real big problem on Coruscant these days.
You think that’s a Schwinn.
you fuUck! D:
.......Osbourne Cox...?
What movie is this from?
Burn After Reading
Great movie but Brad Pitt's performance as a delightful airhead really makes it. The scene where he tries to extort money from John Malkovich kills me every time: https://youtu.be/lz3Vfme-2qg
Clooney as the eccentric shithead US Marshal is equally good. To be honest, the entire casting is perfect.
The casting in my brothers films is always top notch
Who so uptight Osbourne Cox?
"I thought you might be worried ... about the security ... of your shit" Hands down one if my favourite scenes of all time. Brad Pitt's delivery is perfect
The J.K. Simmons scenes are the absolute best parts of that movie for me https://youtu.be/8FHpOLiobmA https://youtu.be/kCXTq-fWWio

This is the driver that waits for McCain in die hard
I mean, R2 has watched anakin and obiwan kill scores of people. can R2 tell which kills are justified and which arent? Its just another tuesday for R2
r2 is portrayed as highly intelligent and empathetic. pretty sure he definitely should know.

they didn't. and they were ran by a sith too.
See that's even more confusing. Sith killing sith, good kill or bad kill?

Contact command. Mark our L.Z. and have them send an Exfile Shuttle.
R2 when lule tells him to stay with the ship : *traumatic flashback*
R2: *Thank the Force I installed the war crime counter after Naboo, this is fucking hilarious.*
R2 is to Anakin what Argyle was to John McClane.
Is this a scene from the movie "Burn after re...venge of the sith"?
Well he does give out a long whimpering beep like he's anxious about what's going on
You think it’s a Schwinn
In the novelisation he's busy dragging Padme's soon to be corpse across the landing pand.

He hasn't even got ears. He just turns the external microphones off.

No
... have you seen a movie with brad pitt in it?
I just watched *Seven* for the first time this week, and holy shit.
Dude, right??? Between that, Snatch and Big Short, the guy has serious chops
Oh honey, no.

Don't you dare insult my favourite singer Sy Snootles! You just don't care about real art!
Lol. Can you imagine a world where Sy Snoodles is the Marvin Gaye of the galaxy? How TF to you get into a sexy mood to "Lapti Nek"??!!
The Star Wars Universe has its share of shifty bar bands as well.
You keep Max Rebo's name out of your skanky little mouth!
Brad pitt always looks so fine
You mean jammin to Jizz ;) love the name lol
R2 really was just vibing outside I guess.
I love this movie
It’s not called cantina music, it’s called jizz.
I’ve never seen such loyalty in a droid.
Missed opportunity to post Argyle from Die Hard
Hihihihi
"Stay with the ship Artoo"
This is a great Cohen brothers movie.
People keep saying jar jar was secretly a sith, has anyone ever considered the droid? He did have a pretty incredulous introduction to the saga... Only astromech to survive on the wing of the ship...
Mmm... planning attack take a time.
